• The hotel was located close to all shopping and dining.
• The hotel should put some non slip mats down at the indoor pool area. It was dangerously slick for me and my 22 month old to walk around.

“Everything about the room was just excellent. We only stayed one night, but I just had to tip the housekeeper anyway because whoever cleaned that room really new what she/he was doing. My daughter had plenty of room to move around and the bathroom was big. The bed as the best hotel bed I had ever slept on. The indoor pool area floor was the only place for concern. It was incedibly slick to walk around. My 22 month old daughter could not keep her feet under her because she kept slipping. I slipped and slid a bit too, so did my husband. I was very uncomfortable because I was afraid one of us was going to slip and fall back into the pool or hit the hard tile floor. The hotel really needs to do something about that floor. A non skid mat or something.Other than that, the staff was great, even when my daughter had a breakdown in the hotel lobby at the end of a very long day. The hotel is elegant without being stuffy and the staff was the same. Thanks for a great stay!”

• There was a large loud dog barking two rooms down.

• I like having a suite that has doors that can close off the bedroom area for more privacy.
• The water in the hot tub in the pool area was too hot.

• I liked that the bedroom was a separate space from the small TV nook.

• The breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about.

• Suite room so that bed was separate from living area.
• Sound barrier was lacking between floors also down pillows, not good for allergies.

“For the price I received, this hotel was excellent! This was my first night away from my 7 month old with my husband, and I felt miles away instead of just 30 minutes from home. I wanted a real vacation from being a mommy for one day and I got it!”

• Furnishings somewhat shabby.

“The Sheraton suites Columbus Ohio is a large hotel that appears to be geared toward the business traveler. The rooms were ok but the furnishing was shabby. It is located on the far north side of Columbus in an area that - until 3 or 4 years ago was "no mans land" in terms of restaurants, entertainment, shopping, etc. But that has improved significantly.”

• The room the pool and hot tub were in was very cold and made swimming uncomfortable and the pool was cold also-very disappointing.

• Spacious room, good layout, comfortable beds, large pull-out.
• Would have to pay for internet, couldn't see TV when pull-out was down.

“Overall we were pleased with our stay - the staff was very friendly even though we walked into a Columbus hotel wearing Michigan athletic garb. Rooms were clean enough, they gave us our 3 rooms close by, easy access to hotel from US-23, close to good restaurants.”

• The accommodations were good. The room was comfortable.
• Housekeeping left robes in our room and then came back to claim they were left by mistake and wanted them back then got upset with me .

“Services were good except for the housekeeping that left robes in our room, then returned to get them as they said they were left by mistake. Okay anyone can make a mistake. But they got upset with me when I told them I couldn't get them right now a they were in the bathroom and so was my husband. Give me a break. So I laid the robes in the hallway when I could get to them and they remained there all night. No sorry for the inconvenience or a thank you for getting them out of the room unused. I am a business woman and you just do not treat guest, clients or customers with anything but respect. Your mistake is your mistake not the consumer!”

• I think the bath tub and the carpet could have been cleaner, my white socks I was wearing turned black it was a little gross.

• The vending machines didn't work on 2 of the 6 available floors. Ours was one of them.

• The room was beautiful. It was not huge but it did have a separate living and work area. The bed was also huge and very comfortable.
• The room service food was great but very expensive.

• I was overcharged for room service, and it gave me food poisoning.

“This hotel was in a good area of town, close to 270. However, I should have known of troubles as soon as I registered when the desk clerk did not know how to check me in. When I got to my room it was spacious, however there was still garbage in one of the garbage baskets. The bed was no as comfortable as I had hoped.”

• Poor climate control (hot) shower water Luke warm.

“Only issues were that room was too hot even after setting thermostat to 60 degrees and it was in the 30's outside. And the shower water was Luke warm at best on a Sunday morning at 8am. Other than those issues, nice hotel.”

• Older hotel but upkeep and overall is excellence.
• We stayed on a non smoking floor, but the hallways smelled badly of smoke. Surprisingly, the rooms didn't.

• Having a suite for two nights made our stay a lot better, giving us the feeling that we were not cramped at all, but had plenty of space.
• What's not to like.

“The Sheraton Suites provided a location with lots of fine dining within a short car ride, movie theater within a short walk, and plenty to do within the hotel. Service was professional and kind. Our suite was very comfortable and we felt like we were on a vacation. I don't write a good review every time I travel - but this hotel certainly deserves my best remarks!”

• The beds and linens were very comfortable and the room was dark.
• The lighting was harsh with no dimming and internet not free.

“The hotel is well located and the staff was very friendly. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable. There was only one sink and the lighting in the bathroom was very bright with no dimmers or second light in shower area. Bottled water was there, but the $4 price tag was excessive water should have been provided for free. Charging for internet service these days is also not acceptable to me and would probably keep me from re booking this hotel. We did not eat at the restaurant would have liked to have had breakfast there, but it was very over priced, especially since there were other more reasonable restaurants quite close.”
