“Hotel was as expected. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Did not partake of continental breakfast.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Juleen from Rochester, IN
“We stayed at this hotel for two nights. I was unable to sleep well because the bottom sheet kept coming off the mattress and I would awake with it bunched up under me. The mattress was rather thin. This is an ok hotel if you just need a place to spend the night.” Jan 26, 2008 by
Bob from Seattle, WA
“Trying to compete with Holiday Inn Express and Hilton Gardens, but they can't with a property where the Internet access doesn't work and the breakfast bar features stale bread and rancid eggs.” Aug 12, 2007 by
Susan from Carpentersville, IL
“Good location, nice rooms, very clean.” Jun 5, 2007 by
Jon from Midland, MI
“Very good location.” Dec 30, 2006 by
Robeert from Frankfort, MI
“For a clean and safe room in a moderate price, Iżd choose la quintal.” Oct 31, 2006 by
Al from Hartland, WI
“Was easy to find, great breakfast, room was clean. Staff was very friendly, would definitely use again.” Sep 19, 2006 by
Joe from Cincinnati, OH
“OK overall.” Aug 14, 2006 by
Joann from South Webster, OH
“Could be very nice if the floor was swept and the room cleaned better. The decorations were nice, but it was hard for us to get past the fact that the room was not very clean.” Aug 10, 2006 by
Floyd from Standish, MI
“N/A.” May 30, 2006 by
Doug from Houston, TX
“staff very helpful with directions to restaurants and events. very friendly. beds comfortable, rooms clean and well maintained. location to restaurants excellent. easy, and safe location. parking very well lit.” Apr 26, 2006 by
Joyce from Lima, OH
“This hotel was clean and updated. However, I requested a non-smoking room. When I arrived smoking rooms were the only ones left that would accommodate my party.” Apr 21, 2006 by
Todd from University Heights, OH
“The atmosphere was accommodating, and the rooms include a mini-fridge and small microwave oven, but the staff could have been better. However, most disappointing was that the room had a number of unfortunate defects which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay: 1. The dresser sat at such a slant that one of the drawers would not remain closed; it was open all the way when I first entered the room, and remained that way until I checked out. 2. Since the bathroom drain stopper was malfunctioning, the bathtub water drained steadily. 3. The check-in clerk neglected to inquire about my smoking preference, and the proffered room reeked a stale odor of cigarettes. 4. The curtain mechanism seemed to be stuck, so I was unable to close the inner drapes before bed. When I informed the clerk of the defects, she seemed to make note of them, but offered no apology or recourse. I was unable to complete the customer satisfaction survey card because this La Quinta fails to provide its guests with a complimentary pen.” Apr 19, 2006 by
Judith from Allston, MA
“If I had to pay full price for this hotel, I would have demanded my money back. The hotel staff was apathetic at best and my room had hair all over the bathroom floor. This hotel allows pets, so I was up very early to the sounds of a yipping dog. Also, my room was missing the room number and there is a "trick" to getting the room keys to work. I strongly suggest paying a bit more for a better hotel.” Apr 12, 2006 by
Susan from Boardman, OH
“Very happy with our hotel, would gladly stay there again without question.” Mar 30, 2006 by
Chuck from Magnolia, OH
“When we got to the hotel, they said that they didn't have a nonsmoker's room, even after I called and confirmed that they did the day before. They put us in a suite that was ok, but it was kind of dirty, it didn't have shampoo, the microwave didn't work and the coffee maker was broken. Also, one of the covers on one of the outlets was missing.” Oct 26, 2005 by
Kristi from Negaunee, MI
“I was disappointed, I checked in and they had no more room keys available, so I had to use the clerk's key to get in my room and then run down, from the 4th floor to bring him his keys back. Then, both days they cleaned the room all they did was put a few fresh towels, didn't even make the bed. And when housekeeping left my room, they didn't close the door so when I got back to my room after being gone for 16 hours, my door was open. It made me feel unsafe and worry about my personal belongings.” Oct 3, 2005 by
Jack from Silver Spring, MD
“The hotel is truly budget. This was my 1st time using price line. While I bid low, I expected the room to be a bit cleaner than it was.” Jul 29, 2005 by
Linda from Cincinnati, OH
“Beds need to be replaced” Jul 21, 2005 by
Victoria
“The staff was wonderful! Very accommodating. The location was perfect for where I needed to be. The leisure suite that they gave me was ideal. I will definitely not hesitate to stay with Baymont again in the future.” Jul 6, 2005 by
John from Fredonia, NY
“It is conveniently located just off the 270.” Jun 29, 2005 by
Andrew from Lincoln, RI
“This hotel would have been a fairly nice place to stay, however, everywhere you turned things were unclean. The rooms were not that clean, there were cob-webs all over the ceiling. The shower curtains were torn and old, the mattresses were old and beginning to sink in; at one point my wife fell off the bed because the mattress caved in. The trash bins did not have any trash bags in them, and the hallways and elevators had a very bad odor (moldy and unclean). Housekeeping in this hotel needs a serious upgrade; this hotel does not qualify as a 2-star hotel.” Jun 29, 2005 by
Ben from Ann Arbor, MI
“Terrible. Our room was not serviced, and nobody worked at this hotel. ” Jun 28, 2005 by
Jonathan from Columbia, MO
“This hotel was easy to find and get to. It was pretty basic, and simply furnished, quiet, very clean and pleasant. The staff seemed friendly and capable. The breakfast was nice, with more than a couple of choices- you could make fresh waffles. There was no pool, but a tiny gym, also very clean and pleasant. I would certainly stay there again.” May 31, 2005 by
Robert from Rochester, NY
“I would stay here again. Just a couple of small issues.” May 29, 2005 by
Mike from Kalamazoo, MI
“Excellent hotel. Well kept, friendly service, adequate amenities. Includes free membership to a gym with pool facilities, and tanning booths for the duration of your stay.” May 28, 2005 by
Jesse from Bowlig Green, OH
“The hotel is in a good location by many suburban amenities. For a 2 star hotel, it is very upscale with a good breakfast and very clean rooms. Also, what the hotel lacks in facilities is made up for with free admssion to a nearby health club. Because the highway exit where the hotel is located is well designed, arriving and departing from the hotel to the interstate is very easy.” May 24, 2005 by
Ritchie from Decatur, GA
“The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. Also, location was good (close to several restaurants), and it was easily accessible.” May 13, 2005 by
Bill from Comstock Park, MI
“I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in desperate need of a major renovation!!.Only a dial up connection is available for internet access, and that connection was so poor and antiquated that it would not support v.92 file compression. The Telco closet was wide open for anyone to access, stuffed with poorly installed cable and video switching equipment and had to be cooled with a poorly functioning fan. The current configured use of the Telco closet is a FIRE CODE VIOLATION. I would expect to see a facility of this type in the third world, but not in Columbus OH.Heck, even the Super 8 in Muscatine, Iowa has high speed wireless internet access. This property should be rated no higher than one star.” May 13, 2005 by
Bob
“Would recommend to all” May 4, 2005 by
Keith
“Great location and very nice staff.” May 2, 2005 by
Liz from Minster, OH
“Overall the hotel was very nice but it could use a little update with paint and sweeping the floors. But you can't beat the price so I am not complaining.” Apr 27, 2005 by
Crystal from Fostoria, OH
“It was a very good value, and I would stay there again with a purchase like this one.” Mar 18, 2005 by
Steve from Alliance, OH
“They said no problem on the phone. When I arrived at the hotel they had me in a non-smoking double room. They did put me in a smoking single room, but it was a handicap room, which made using the bathroom extremely awkward. Then went to take a shower and had no hot water, called front desk as was told they would look at it, I should have hot water by morning. The next morning I woke up to no hot water and a shower that you had to hold the shower head because it was for handicap. They offered to let me use another room, but it was handicapp also, it was not pleasant. At checkout they applogized, but said they couldn't reimburse me because I got the internet rate.” Mar 14, 2005 by
Vern from Junction City, WI
“Hotel room was cleaned poorly. Hot water was barely warm most days. Heater in room did not work. After 1st night I reported the problem and I would have expected them to either fix the heater or apologize and offer to move me to another room. Instead the heater was NOT fixed and no communication was made to offer to move me to another room. However when I insisted on another room they gave me one.” Mar 13, 2005 by
Michelle from Charleston, WV
“This hotel was at a convenient location. We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were nice and clean, hotel staff was very friendly. I just wish there had been more to offer for breakfast. Over all I give this hotel an A rating.” Mar 7, 2005 by
Chris from Vincent, OH
“The hotel was nice. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The room amenities were as described and the hotel was close to shopping, dining and entertainment options.” Mar 3, 2005 by
Art from Jackson, TN
“I had a very nice stay at the Bay mount. It was quiet, staff was friendly.” Feb 3, 2005 by
Karis from Toledo, OH
“It was very nice but we would have liked an on site exercise/hot tub option. ” Sep 19, 2004 by
Degraft A. from Cleveland, OH “Baymount Inn and Suites Dublin exceeded my expectation for the price I paid. The location was just very convenient for the purpose for which I traveled to Columbus. The workers were very friendly and ready to help when I needed some help. That was fantastic.” Sep 5, 2004 by
Shawn D. from Solana Beach, CA “I have stayed at other Baymonts before and had really liked the experience. This one was not bad or good. It was just okay. The hotel staff was very good, but the first room I was given was smoky, so I asked for a non-smoking room and was given another room that had dirty wall and a musty odor to it. It did not feel very clean like other Baymonts I have stayed at. It could be just those two rooms, since the rest of the hotel seemed very clean. It was also very close to the interstate and had several great restaurants and stores near by. The area seemed to be very upscale and had a lot to offer visitors. In the hotel rooms there were guides and other information that was helpful in choosing were to eat and things to do.”
