• The location was ideal for closeness to shopping malls
• The front desk person was not friendly. No personality.

“Our intial experience, as usual, was with the front desk. Never get a second chance to make a first impression. The person we dealt with had no personality and was very rude and through her comments that there was no notess on our files despite our numerous call and being told that notes were being put on our file to highlight our needs....she blatently called the CUSTOMERS that pay her salary "LIARS". The hotel is very average in appearance and atmosphere. Nothing spectacular or exciting. Definately just a place to sleep and run. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms big, but the bathrooms were small.”

• Clerk who worked at the front desk, always had a smile on his face every time we talked to him. What a great person to have at your front desk!

• Front desk staff.
• Dated, unfortunate layout, felt old and not very clean.

“The hotel was okay. Certainly not what I would consider a 3.5 star. The layout was horrible, so much walking to get to a room, the bathroom doors were rusting at the bottom, nothing horrible, just nothing considered luxurious.”

• There was nothing extraordinary.
• It was very noisy. A lot of activity.

“I would never stay here again. My sleep was interrupted by noisy guests and management suggested that I move, instead of putting them out!”

• I would not recommend this location to any of my associates. It was significantly less than the 3.5 stars that I was expecting.
• The business center, which is usually complimentary for guests, charged $2.99 to use the computer. There was a piano auction in the lobby of the hotel.

“I absolutely would not recommend this hotel for any of my associates or friends. Although the staff was friendly, it felt very cheap. There were guests in their undershirts in the hallways. They charged a internet access and print fee for the business center, which I've never experienced. The trash cans had no liners. And, there was a piano auction taking place in the lobby of the hotel. Literally 12 pianos for sale. The carpet was stained and it did not feel very safe.”

• The room was huge! There was a king size bed plus a desk and a pull out sofa.
• The bathroom was pretty small.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. The workout facility was also very nice, with personal TV's on all machines. Additionally, we were able to extend our checkout time of 11am until 2:30 pm. Free of charge!”

• Great beds! Clean, convenient, great bathroom toiletries.
• Would love a bigger bathroom, and updated TV.

“This was a beautiful hotel and we loved our stay. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the beds and linens were wonderful. Totally convenient with many restaurants around and in the hotel.”

• I loved the seafood restaurant attached to the hotel. The food and service is superlative.
• My first impression affected my opinion as door knobs and elevator buttons were full of fingerprints.

“This hotel would be an acceptable if they pay more attention to cleanliness. Brass hardware should sparkle and not be covered with fingerprints.”

• There was a party going on and people were loud and in the halls.

• The room was comfortably decorated. The dual cup coffee maker was convenient.
• Front desk staff not very helpful. Only one vending machine in building and it was broken. Weird, rounded hallways without a view.

“This hotel is shaped like a semi-circle, making for long, viewless hallways which are unattractive. The rooms are nicely decorated. However, with a 4 star rating, the hotel should have cable channels, accommodating staff, and more than one food vending machine (which were broken at the time of our visit).”

• The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have been in. The bedding was clean and cozy.
• Because of the layout of this hotel, it was a very long walk to the lobby and restaurant from our room.

• There were blood stains on the floor.

“This hotel did not have a Jacuzzi, the pool was freezing cold. There were what I believe were blood stains on the floor, there was a plastic transfer strip sticking up in the bathroom and my girl friend lost half a toe nail and cut her foot on it. They didn't refill the coffee bar, so the second morning I had to ask three maids for coffee, cream and sugar. They didn't refill the toilet paper etc. I got better results from an Econolodge. It was may be a one star hotel at best, I am surprised they didn't rent rooms by the hour.”

• The bed was wonderful!
• No hot tub. The onsite bar was never open - only option was the high-priced restaurant.

“The room was nice, if a little dark. The bed was awesome. The best sleep we've had in a hotel! There was no hot tub, but the pool and sauna were open 24 hrs. We stayed because there was an onsite bar & grill. We learned that it's rarely open! The only other close option (without driving 5-10 miles or so) was Charley's Crab (very nice, but more upscale, not to mention pricey, than we wanted after 12 hours of working). Also, on our last day, more than an hour before checkout, someone (employee) was going room to room opening doors. Very disconcerting when you're in the shower and hear someone banging the door 3-4 times against the security handle! Other than this, it was nice. We would stay again.”

• Good neighborhood, big rooms, easy access to interstate.
• Phone never worked. Staff didn't fix it. Closet looks like it hasn't been redone since the 70s.

“Housekeeping dept has a lot to be desired. The initial room I was placed in had old dried stool and blood stains on floor at the entrance to the bathroom. I found this very disgusting to say the least. The hotel did give me another room and breakfast comps.”

• The fact that Charley's Crab was connected to the hotel.
• Compared to other Hilton's I have stayed at this was the less likely one for me and husband. The room seemed old and dreary for an anniversary.

“Most likely will not recommend this Hilton to any of my close friends and family. The employers didn't seem knowledgeable of the hotel and the atmosphere wasn't that friendly. This was our 6 year anniversary celebration and the best part as far as the hotel was our romantic dinner at Charley's Crab.”

• The price was great and it was CLEAN!
• There was a hair on the decorative pillow that doesn't get a case. I'd rather it not have the decorative pillow on there at all.
