• Lady at front desk the next morning was not rude.

“Hotel was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff was rude. Walls were thin. Must have been a low cost hotel lots of noise. Iron didn't work, ruined my khakis. Sliding door lock was broke.”

• 24 hour store in lobby.
• Cleanliness.

“There was hair in the bathroom toilet seats and floor. Coffee still in the room coffee pot, and a damp mildew stench through out the room. Even though it was recently renovated it still reeks of older hotel cheap motel nostalgia.”

• It was very quiet, the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the courtyard view was nice.
• I thought the breakfast was good and offered a nice variety but I thought the price was high.

“The girl at the front desk was very nice, she asked if we prefered a courtyard view and which floor we preferred. The hotel was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.”

• it's clean.
• Crampy rooms, noisy hallway.

“The room was clean and furnished nicely, but in a very hotel generic style. It appeared very crampy, especially the bathroom and hallway. My room was just by the side entrance making it very loud. The lobby of the hotel is very generic, nice, but nothing special.

“We chose this hotel for it's location. about 10 miles to Detroit, easy to find with many restaurants nearby. Pleasantly surprised to find a small fridge in our room.”

• Nine dollar breakfast buffet could have been better.

“Very nice. Room was nice, clean, spacious, best room darkening curtains I've seen! Pool seemed nice, but didn't try. Exercise room very good. Breakfast buffet cost $9 and was good but not great. Good place!”

“I did have a good time at the hotel. The hotel is clean, nice, and good indoor pool. But they need to work on the noise between the rooms because you can hear people when they have the music loud or their kids playing. Also, I don't see courtyard serving complimentary breakfast anymore. Thanks.”

• The bed was a bit too soft. I woke up with a sore back each morning.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was neat and clean and only about 7 minutes from Downtown Detroit. The only slightly negative things I can say is that the walls were a little thin, and I was able to hear my neighbor snoring. Also, the bed was a little too soft for my taste. However, I would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.”

• Very close to Metro Detroit, reasonably priced.
• Whirlpool too hot, well above 104 degrees.

“Overall the hotel was very nice, but we looked forward to using the whirlpool but it was too hot skin turn bright after only a couple minutes in the water. When we notified the front desk they were not able to even have the temperature checked as they did not even have a working thermometer. This did make me feel somewhat unsafe and we left the pool area, and returned to our room which was very nice, on the courtyard.”

• The front desk staff did not know how to get to the hotel when I called for directions.

• Accommodated room request and early arrival request.
• Heating system is not central and makes too much noise.

“This is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. It's clean, not too busy and has good facilities. I would prefer central heating as the heater in the room makes too much noise and it's difficult to set it to a desired temperature. It would also be nice if there was a sink inside the bathroom in addition to the one outside the bathroom.”

• The location felt safe and plenty of shopping and places to eat near by.
• The breakfast was over priced for what was served. There wasnt a double bed available.

• The staff was very helpful.
• Cleanliness was not up to par with Marriot Courtyard.

“Both nights that we stayed we were disturbed by other patrons in the early hours of the morning. We were at the back of the motel and there was quite a bit of coming and going between the hours of midnight and 3 am. There was also a drunken couple fighting in the hall the first night, at about 1:30 am. A noisy adult party was going on in the room next to us the next night until about 2 am. We did not feel totally secure because of these events.”

• Internet access could stand to use some improvement connection is slow from high speed.
