• Fireplace and furnished kitchen in my clean, comfortable room.
• Difficult to find at night.

• Size.
• Noise, security, still a little run down with cheap furniture.

“Noisy, had a party going on above me till 2 am one night. Had jumping and banging from 10pm to 2 am another night. The staff was friendly until I complained about the party. They did nothing to get the tenant to reduce the noise and thought there was not a problem because it was a party for a young girl. The hotel is within walking distance to two topless bars. Overall it is not a safe feeling. There were noisy people staying at the hotel. Not recommended for the business traveler. I also had a spider in my room.”

• Full kitchen.
• Neighborhood.

“Rooms are nice with full kitchen, fireplace, and sink outside of the bathroom. Breakfast has more than ample selections. Hotel is a little hard to find and the neighborhood is apparently bad, there is a security vehicle waiting at the entrance, brick wall with barbed wire on top around most of the property, and a security guard walking the grounds.”

• Friendly, neat, convenient kitchen, always ready to serve the customer.
• Mildew on the bathroom shower walls, hair in the corners of the bathroom, no back up tissues or toilet paper and it was close to the end.

• The accommodations and budget friendly meals.
• The front desk staff the night I checked in was rude.

“I was in charge of selecting a hotel for this emergency trip. My family was very pleased with the selection and the amenities offered at the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised find full size kitchen appliances which made the trip expenses lower than expected.”

• The room was spacious and set up well.
• The rooms were not in the same building as the office which is where they served breakfast.

“The hotel was nice. The room was very spacious and clean. The appearance of the buildings is not very attractive. They offer a hot breakfast for their customers however you have to walk from your building to the office in the snow, rain, cold weather. Not very convenient for the customer.”

• Bed was too small (full) prefer queen or king.

• It was convenient, very comfortable.
• Difficult to find. Had to call front desk to get directions.

“I liked this hotel very much. The room was large and worked well with 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters. I would have liked to have stayed more than one night!”

“When we arrived around 10:30pm we were stopped at the entrance by a security guard in a car. Once they saw that we were staying at the hotel they let us pass. I appreciate the security but this makes me question how safe the property really is. When we got to our room, my son wanted to order a movie on pay per view. Half way into the movie it locked up. After calling the front desk to ask that the charge be taken off our bill, I was told that they were sending security to check the problem out. After they arrived, it was obvious that they couldn't correct the problem. At that point I again asked to drop the charges. The security guard agreed to notify the front desk. About 20 minutes later the front desk called to say that they were sending someone back with a new remote. By this time it was almost 11:30pm and I told them that we had too much time had gone by and we wanted to skip trying to fix the system and just go to bed. The person at the front desk refused and said I would be charged for the movie we couldn't watch. I explained that I didn't think it was fair to be charged $13.00 for a movie we couldn't watch. The front desk person said I was wrong; the movie was only $12.99! Go figure! I reluctantly agreed to let them try one more time. Knowing full well that the remote was not the problem. Sure enough, the security guard came back and tried for several minutes to get the movie running. No luck. About 10 minutes later (well after midnight) the front desk called back and agreed to drop the charges. Not the treatment Id expect from a Marriott! The next morning when taking a shower, I noticed dark mold in the corners of the shower stall.”

• There was construction on my floor, but probably why I was able to get the room so cheap for the area.

• Noisy, you can smell cigarettes even the no smoking sign is there.

“Great staff, wonderful grounds, homey rooms, and great hospitality hours. We try to stay at "The Residence Inns whenever we can instead of the usual hotels and this stay was just as good. Though it was a little hard to find it was very convenient. Map Quest had us ten miles off though.”

• I liked the breakfast, customer service and room quality.
• I did not like being greeted by security and the property's guest restrictions.

“Well located and convenient to amenities and Dearborn sites. Easy to get too. Good parking. I was a bit surprised that overnight security screens ever vehicle that comes in, but it did provide a measure of security, although I did not think the area was one where such measures would be required. Great complimentary breakfast with wonderful person at the front desk and the breakfast area.”

• This hotel had unit rooms and they were full equipped with coffee pot stove and refrigerator clean and neat.
• We checked in at night and the unit we had was in the back and it was not well lighted.

“We had a very nice stay. It had a hot breakfast of French toast bagels oat meal and much more that was free with our stay.”

• Enough space for our family.
• The rude staff, the nasty housekeeping.

“The front desk at evening and overnight shift is very rude and trashy! And housekeeping was very nasty they dont do there job. We went 2 days with out our room being cleaned! We found dog bones under the couch and dog hair. The other room we had there was dog food under the couch. The toilet was broken for 2 day we had to fix our own toilet. They had no toilet paper. Then when we asked why our rooms werent cleaned the housekeeping lied about cleaning our rooms. And I never saw yellow pool water in my life! The pool was no bigger then two queen mattresses. The rooms were nice they just need to be cleaned better and different front counter staff.”

• Excellent suites arrangement with a queen and pull out. Ideal for couple with young children.

“Excellent value for a suite hotel with two beds. The complimentary hot breakfast was also excellent. Missed the happy hour. Expect it to be good too.”

• Initial access was tricky, difficult. Exterior needed updating and renovating.

“Rating was a bit generous. It's closer to a two star level. Hard to find the entrance initially. A fair portion of the guests was rowdy and noisy. Service was courteous. Seems like rooms are rented out for parties. Facility was overall clean but needs an external renovation.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• Hotel was somewhat run-down, and condo-style and you can hear people through the floors.

“For Marriott, this was not a very attractive hotel. It was old and not as clean as I'm used to, and the shower was not working properly, and the toilets would hardly flush. However, there was a nice pool, and the staff people were friendly, and it's near shopping.”

• No sign for direction play ground is not at right place which make it not comfortable for customer.

• The rooms were slighted dated.

“I thought the hotel was a clean comfortable place to stay for both a business and leisure traveler. The complimentary breakfast makes the perfect way to start the morning. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive to my needs.”

“This hotel was conveniently located for the Henry ford museum/Greenfield village. It was such a pleasant surprise at the end of a day of sightseeing. It included a very nice breakfast but our room was exceptional. It felt like an apartment with a sofa/fireplace/kitchen. It was so relaxing and comfortable.”

• Food is awful. So is cleaning crew.
