• Affordable.
• Outside carpets were dirty, not vacumed. Inside, things looked okay.

“The rooms are clean, nice bed, furniture etc. However, the outside hallways were disgusting, it looked like it hadn't been vacumed in weeks.”

• Very elegant hotel for the money. Very good service.
• A bit understaffed, but those present did a great job.

“A bit out of the way, but clearly the nicest and most elegant hotel in the area. We had a great stay. Everything was clean, the staff was superb (though they were a bit understaffed, those present did great work), the bed was one of the best every and the room was spacious and came with a microwave and frig.”

• Size of rooms.
• Not much around it for shopping or restaurants.

“This hotel was a little over 3 miles from Palace. We went there for a concert. I would eat before concert. Our concert was on Sunday, not much open after concert except Taco Bell and Burger King.”

“The hotel exceeded our expectations. My mother, three daughters and myself go on an annual back to school shopping trip. The two double bed suite with sofa bed room was perfect for us. My mother thought this was the nicest hotel we've stayed at to date. Very nice.”

• When the cleaner stole my camera, they were sensitive.
• My camera went missing out of our room.

“I'm just devastated that my camera and several memory cards went missing from my room after it had been cleaned. Other than that, nice place.”

• Location, very attractive decor, spacious room.
• Air quality in the rooms poor for breathing. I was renting 2 rooms, one day, they did not clean either one. No exhaust fans in the bathrooms.

“Overall, this is a nice hotel, but could definitely needs the ventilation system cleaned and air quality checked. Breakfast is expensive for the quality and variety served.”

“The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. The staff were friendly and polite although the restaurant staff seemed hassled, arguing somewhat amongst themselves about when to stop the Sunday morning buffet as customers were still coming in at 10:00 a.m. The suite was very nice. We were put in an accessible room which was fine except there was no bathtub. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.”

• The suites were wonderful with a napping baby. There was a separate room and living room for visiting.
• The bathrooms needed maintenance (mildew in the showers).

“The hotel was very clean and inviting. The open air restaurant in the center was nice and open. The fitness room was well stocked and clean. There is free internet in the business area. However, they charge $10/day for in-room internet.”

• We liked the business center. We were able to use internet and get online and check emails and get directions to everywhere we went. It was also a free service.
• The shower bar was dirty.

“We try to stay here every time we visit because of the friendly and helpful staff and the general atmosphere of the hotel. We've recommended this hotel to several people already and will continue to do so.”

• The location was a little out of the way. Nothing was walking distance.

• I loved the 2-room suite & the comfy couch and armchair.
• Check-in clerk more interested in talking to a friend on the phone than helping me. Check-out clerk was great.

“The room was spacious and comfortable, and the beds were very comfortable. I loved the 2-room suite with the cozy furniture. It was nice to be able to stay up later and get up earlier than the kids without disturbing them. The bathroom was nice, but lacked a strong exhaust fan to get rid of the steam from the shower, but that was my only complaint. We had breakfast that we prepared ourselves in our room, and the hotel was nice enough to give us complimentary plates, cutlery, and condiments. The gym was small but had machines that worked well (4 cardio ones and a universal).”

• This hotel was very clean and comfortable and the bed was like a cloud!
• The only problem we had was the shuttle that drove my son out to a concert wouldn't go back and pick him up because of a snowstorm.

“This hotel was fabulous and the bedding (the reason we stayed at a Hilton) was absolutely wonderful! The hotel was very, very clean and safe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. As I said above, the only complaint we had was the shuttle that took my son and father out to a concert, wouldn't go back and get them because of a snowstorm. Otherwise, it was a wonderful hotel experience.”

• A lot of arguing because of pool rules.

“Staff was great, hotel overrun by unattended youth, 2 days of arguing over pool rules; we couldn't let my grandson swim because of overcrowding of pool by unattended youth. Would have liked more choices of dinner from room service, better vending choices and bar hours could have been more accommodating. The room was very nice and clean.”

• All the rooms are two room suites.
• The staff didn't enforce the no minors in pool area after designated time.

“I have stayed at this hotel two times. Both times I have been pleased with the rooms. They were clean. Each bed had four feather pillows and a feather blanket. My one complaint is that the hotel staff doesn't enforce the no children in the pool area after 10:00 p.m. We were there to relax and at 11:00 there were still many children screaming in the pool area.”

“When I arrived I was told that only smoking rooms were available. I can't stay in a smoking room so I asked to change the arrival date. The front desk clerk agreed to change the date and I need to pay extra for that.”

• Poor service in restaurant; good food.

“The desk staff went above and beyond when my purse was stolen and gave us free breakfast. It was not the hotels responsibility, but the manager really impressed me. The pool area was clean. The room was awesome. I'd go back again and again.”

• We liked the comfortableness of the suite. We really liked the design of the suite as well.
• A couple of the lights didn't work but that was no big deal.

• The hotel was in the perfect spot.
• I call to make sure I had two beds, but ended up with a King size and pull out couch. The restaurant was under staffed for dinner.

“The hotel was just down the road from our concert and easy to get to. Pretty hotel lobby. We were told we would get a room with two beds, but ended up with a king size and a pull out couch. The pullout was terrible. Hotel was sold out, so they couldn't move us. Pool and hot tub were great; the sauna was a little small. We ordered dinner from the restaurant, but there was only one server and we ended up taking it to our room and eating it later that night.”

• No lifeguard or staff intervention when teenagers in pool got unruly and unsafe.

“Located too close to a crime ridden city, felt somewhat unsafe. Staff friendly, especially front desk, store clerk and housekeeping however pool not as clean as I would expect and no supervision. There was a group of unruly teens that were engaging in rough, dangerous behavior necessitating my leaving the area with my young children.”

• The location of this hotel more than met our needs. Great beds.
• Needed to be updated.

“The location of this hotel met all of our needs. The rooms had a nice layout with plenty of space. Rooms were also stocked appropriately and very clean. Bar area downstairs was a nice quiet relaxing stop at the end of the evening. There was a pool table as well. The front desk was unhelpful 3 out of the 4 times I spoke with them. (Same girl the 3 times.) Also the phone in our room did not work. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Overall, for the price, it was an acceptable location to stay at.”

• Proximity to the palace and shuttle service, the van driver was great!
• Front desk staff was rude, could not find reservation, and gave me (single female) a ground floor room in the farthest corner of the hotel.

“OK hotel if you are not going to spend much time in your room. Use the hotel shuttle; it is a great service if you are going to a nearby spot, like Palace.”
