• Rooms were nice.
• The front hotel desk girl was unprofessional.

“The front hotel clerk was unprofessional. She didn't check me in properly and had the maid knock on my door. The when I went down to check on what the problem was she said never mind she fixed it. Which was rude she could of called the room and let me know I didn't have to come all the way down stairs. Also when I first checked in she told me there were no rooms available then she said she had a double available. She told me there would be an extra charge! I She was very unprofessional and unknowledgeable!”

• Very close to the Palace of Auburn Hills with many choices to eat.
• The breakfast buffet cost too much and signage was poor regarding cost.

“Great location, rooms clean, I would stay there again, but I would eat breakfast down the road. All hotels in our area offer a continental breakfast at no charge.”

• Bed was extremely comfortable.
• The TV was terrible. Especially the sound.

“Overall, a nice hotel. My first room had flying ants and I had to switch to another room. After the switch, I enjoyed my stay. My only complaints are that there was now WiFi in my room and the high speed connection they offered was very slow. Also, the TV was awful. few channels, bad reception and a loud hum on all channels.”

• I wish Courtyard would give a continental breakfast.

“I have stayed at many Marriott's. This gives exactly what we've come to know and expect from Courtyard. Nice, clean, comfortable amenities, as well as friendly, helpful staff.”

• It was clean.
• No continental breakfast. Not appropriate accommodations.

“I was traveling with my elderly, disabled father. We had a room on second floor at the opposite wing from the elevator. When our room was changed to one closer to the elevator, we ended up in a room with a king sized bed and a sofa bed.”

• Renovation will hopefully improve.
• Little undervalued for a courtyard by Marriott.

“Will be worth residing once the renovations are complete. I was not overly impressed with the hotel. Currently gives you the feeling of a hybrid between an economy and moderate hotel. Not my top choice to reside.”

“Basically, I found my stay at the hotel to be quite comfortable and convenient to all main attractions in the area. If it were not for the high prices at the restaurants our stay would have been completely satisfactory.”

“We loved everything about this hotel except for the fact that the breakfast bar was right in the lobby and it was $9.95 per person. We opt not to eat there but it was a big inconvenience for us to find another breakfast option.”

• The most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in.

“We've stayed at this hotel previously and had some problems there. (Fire alarm in the middle of the night, inconsiderate party-goers ignoring the rules.) However, this time it was wonderful and could not have been more comfortable.”

• Close to shopping malls. Well ran, clean and friendly. A nice place to stay.
• Small fitness area with below average equipment.

“Nice, clean and well ran. A convenient and safe location with easy access to several large malls. A quick drive down 75 gets you to tiger stadium in a half hour. Fitness facility was fairly poor for this nice of a hotel, no air conditioning in the fitness area - perhaps broken ?”

• The room
• The entrance sign was difficult to locate. Too far off the main road and hidden by a tree

“The hotel was very clean. The room was very clean, comfortable and included all ammenities and services available. The courtyard was veryattractive and well maintained. The lobby included a breakfast room and 24hr. supply andbeverages available. In the morning a USA newspaper was available at no charge. Our stay was great.”

“The hotel stay was lovely. The only thing that I wasn't in agreement about was when the hotel requested for my credit card and charged $20.00 on it for no reason. I didn't have any incidentals and didn't ask the hotel to use my card to take anything off for incidentals. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.”
