• Clean, convenient to destination, excellent breakfasts, many in room conveniences.
• Room a little too small.

“Overall very good. Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, the palace of auburn hills. Very extensive continental breakfast, and many conveniences in room. coffee pot, iron, hairdryer etc. Room was a little small but ok if you don't plan to spend much time in them.”

• The bed was large, comfortable, and clean. There was a fridge and microwave, which I had not expected!
• There was not a bar or restaurant attached.

“This hotel was awesome. We spent my birthday weekend there, it was very close and convenient to The Palace, which is where we were going all three days of our stay. The staff was courteous and prompt. They had a nice spread for breakfast, which included heat and eat breakfast sandwiches.”

• Free Internet.
• Shoddy blankets, poorly maintained rooms and grounds.

“I am very disappointed in this hotel and surprised that Marriott would put their name on it. The walls, door, and window were damaged and stained. The sheets were threadbare and stained. The bath had water damage. Generally, the hotel was poorly maintained. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. There are many better hotels in the area, at similar prices.”

• Comfortable bed, good breakfast (included), gym.
• The room maid didn't replenish the coffee.

“Very satisfied with the facility. Having a comfortable bed was great (not common with a 2 star motel). The free breakfast was diverse with options. Gym facilities were great. Highly recommend!”

• The pool was open till 11:00pm.

“When checking in the staff was very friendly and informative. They explained the pool hours, the breakfast available in the morning, and the easiest way to get to our room. Also we were informed if we needed anything just call. The room was clean and very inviting.”

• The free breakfast was great, waffles, eggs, yum!
• They gave us 2 big towels for 4 people.

“The hotel was nice and close to the palace of auburn hills. It was about 1.5 miles and easy to find. There was no shuttle (next door at the restaurant) to the palace as one comment had stated which was a bit disappointing. This hotel was clean. We needed more towels and they were quick to respond. Great service.”

• Microwave in room.
• Mattress was not comfortable.

“Staff was very nice and helpful at check-in when we inquired about directions to the palace of auburn hills for a concert. She suggested we ride the free shuttle from a local restaurant. After checking out and going a few miles away I discovered I left something in the room, called the front desk and they retrieved the item.”

• It was convenient to the Palace in Auburn Hills.
• Hard to find, noisy room facing highway.

“Fairfield in Auburn Hills is located about 3 miles from the Palace. It is convenient to shopping and dining. The hotel is clean and the lobby is spacious and decorated nicely. The hotel rooms face south toward the highway or they face east and west. The rooms were adequate, but priced a little higher that I would pay again. Beds were adequate. Furniture as outdated and somewhat worn. Room was very clean. Nice 30" TV. Small Bathroom. Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.”

• Complimentary breakfast daily and dinner on certain nights, daily newspaper also.
• Can't think of anything.
