• The rooms are amazing, the staff are wonderful, free breakfast too.
• No hot tub.

“This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at, the room is huge and nice and clean and the staff are very nice and helpful, great location, great price for the room and free breakfast. Just wished they had a hot tub.”

• Personal friendly assistance.
• Pool area needed a hot tub. Microwave dinning is not my way to go.

• I was not overly impressed with the sidewalks as there was soo much snow.

• Beautiful facilities with helpful personnel.
• Breakfast was a little skimpy. Could have had something hot on the menu.

“I have stayed in this hotel previously when it was an Amerisuite. Hyatt has taken the bldg. and made it beautiful and upscale. They have done an excellent job. The area close by is blighted, but one wouldn't know.”

• The rooms, lobby and common areas were extremely stylish and attractive.
• With all the amenities offered, the hotel did not have a hot tub!

“The hotel is well maintained, stylish and welcoming. All of the staff I encountered was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was attractive, clean and very comfortable, especially the bed and the 42 inch flat screen was a real treat. The continental breakfast was wonderful and meals were available 24 hrs, all the food was fantastic. The only disappointment was the lack of a hot tub.”

• It was new, modern and very nice. Pillows were feather, refrigerator and sitting room. Flat screen TV. free continental breakfast, food available 24hr.
• Their policy is to bother rooms every day after 12 noon.

“I was very pleased with this hotel. Very clean, modern and new. The beds were comfortable with feather pillows. The rooms had flat screen TVs, refrigerators, and a sitting area, free Wi-Fi and free breakfast. The only draw back was that their policy is to call on all rooms after 12 noon. I told the front desk that I am adamantly against that since I am on West Coast time and that is only 9am my time. The front desk put a note to housekeeping to not bother the room, so they were great about not checking on us, we just asked them for service when we were ready. Very impressed with The Hyatt Palace. Would definitely want to stay there again. Have stayed at many Hyatt's and like this better. Thought it would be at the level of Marriott's Fairfield Inn, but it was much nicer.”

• When I first checked in I was given an guide of the hotel, which made everything that I needed to know the location very easy for me to find.
• There was not one thing that I did not like about the hotel.

“Anytime I'm in the Michigan area I will always stay here. You have everything you need right there in the hotel. The breakfast was great. Housekeep was great. The area was nice and cleaned.”

• No hot tub. If there was a hot tub, it would have been perfect.

• Automated check-in did not work.

“This hotel really exceeded my expectations. The lobby and breakfast area are really stunning. The free continental breakfast was excellent - wide variety of items, and real china plates and silverware to use, but the rooms... simply outstanding, traveling with a toddler and a baby (and lots of gear), we always feel cramped in hotel rooms. At Hyatt place, we opened the door to find a large sitting area with a sectional couch, ottoman desk, and wet bar. There was lots of room to set up the crib and suitcases. Behind a half screen were the beds and bathroom. Everything was very elegant and luxurious. The only problem we had was the automated check in system, which led us through several menus, found our reservation, and then asked us to proceed to the check-in desk anyway. But it never did. Considering the price vs. this facility, it was my best hotel experience ever.”

• The hotel grounds, lobby, halls, elevators and rooms were immaculate.
• We enjoyed the entire hotel, including breakfast and have nothing we could say wrong about it.

“This hotel was an excellent example of a well managed, clean, friendly establishment. The room's layout was different than most and so well thought out regarding the use of the space and comfort for the consumer. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever encountered in a hotel. We would recommend this hotel with the highest number possible.”

• Brand new as still very clean as of June 2007.
• Felt that the price was a little too high for its location. Hotel did not offer food at the time of my stay.

“Close to highway, but quiet and very clean. Friendly staff. Brand new as of June 2007. A little overpriced for this basic hotel considering it's location (not in a major city). there was a McDonalds next door which was convenient, but other than that, you will need a car to get to any other restaurants.”

• The delightfully perky staff and the beds are the best hotel beds ever!
• No hot tub.

“What an experience I will never forget! I was warmly welcomed to the hotel at the door by smiling faces. Many! Nice to see after a long exhausting drive. I will remember because they were so wonderfully informative) helped to check us in and explained the new kiosk machine. Very neat and easy to use! Then explained the hotels plans. Starbucks, bakery, and kitchen which are all in the works. The hotel also has a pool and fitness center. The hotel could use a hot tub for those achy muscles after along drive but other then that the beds are the most comfortable I have slept in (including my own!) The rooms are beautifully decorated. I'll be back again and again!”

“The new Hyatt Place (Formerly Amerisuites) are as close to perfect for the business traveler as you can get. Rooms are comfortable, well appointed and the 50" plasma TV is a nice touch!”

• Suites are incredible - newly redone and luxurious.
• Lobby area under construction currently.

“This hotel is undergoing renovation to become a Hyatt place. I will stay at Hyatt place whenever possible. Full hot breakfast was great. Rooms are like nothing I've ever experienced before and we often stay in four-star hotels. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.”

• The rooms all have HDTV¿s with HDTV channels; the staff is extremely courteous.
• The room heater is somewhat loud.

“The rooms have a nice bed and a couch separated by a divider. The room was in great condition, having been recently remodeled. The room was extremely clean. The room has a 42" plasma HDTV with HDTV channels, including local network channels, HBO, ESPN 1&2, HD Net, discovery, and UHD. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. For that reason more than any other, my stay was very comfortable and pleasant.”

• The wireless internet service is very weak.

• Room design is fantastic. Colors and comfort are wonderfully blended.
• Bed was too firm.

“Currently being converted to a Hyatt Place this will, when completed become a high grade property. 42" plasma screens in all rooms, soft fluffy towels, a fantastically comfortable pull out couch. Contemporary fittings for the bathroom etc.”

“This is not a three star hotel based on what else have rated at this level. No better than a Hampton, no where near a Wyndham Garden. I would not want this facility in the future.”
