• Location close to the airport and next to Interstate 94.
• Very basic and old fashioned room furniture, poor breakfast.

“Very convenient location for travelers who stay only for the night and do not expect extensive leisure time facilities. The shuttle service to the airport terminals works well and fast.”

• Clean, spacious, great location.
• Housekeeping was in late afternoon.

“This hotel far exceeded my expectaions! It was in a great location, and the hotel was either new or recently remodeled. It was clean, and our room was very spacious and had a fridge. It was perfect for my family (including 2 very small children). There was plenty of room for toys and baby gear. The beds were super comfortable! We loved it!”

• The price was okay and it did have a continental breakfast.
• The cleaning products used at this hotel were somewhat overwhelming and irritating.

“I was put in a first floor room, which I wasn't crazy about (not being able to open a window). The cleaning products used in the rooms left a strong odor that was not very pleasant (once again, negatively affected by not being able to open a window). There also seemed to be a film covering the carpet that you could feel in bare feet. At about 11:15 pm, someone started knocking on my door. They were gone before I woke up enough to realize that it was my door. And there was mildew on the shower curtain. I usually sleep very well in hotels, but this combination of things did not promote a good night's sleep. Definitely not the worst hotel I've stayed at, but not the best either. I might stay there again, but I would definitely not get a 1st floor room.”

• Mold, ants, leftover pizza, no soap!

“There was live ants in the room. Leftover pizza in the fridge, mold in the shower and in the elevator. and there was no soap in my room.”

• It was close to the airport and had shuttle service.
• It was very dirty and very noisy.

“This hotel was very dirty and the staff did nothing to correct it. I had to clean the room. We were not checked in correctly and someone entered our room in the middle of the night. After being frightened and the noise level, we went to the airport 3 hours early.”

• My room key card kept de-magnetizing.

“I found this hotel very pleasant for our circumstances. We were surprised to find out that the planes seemed to stop flying over head after 10 and so we got restful sleep. Though the bed could have been softer and the pillows firmer, the room served our requirements of a place to lay our heads at the end of a busy day. It exceeded our expectations and I felt we got our money's worth.”

• Location, fitness center availability, long term airport parking deal.
• Some elements could do with refurbishing.

“When flying out I used to stay at a hotel catering to extended stay travelers that is also in Romulus. It was convenient but getting in need of refurbishment. This hotel is very well located, has more amenities, is quiet, has efficient and helpful staff, and can sell you discounted parking passes for the long term lot that is right next door. It has a fitness center, which is important for me. The cardio equipment is older than some but functional. All the public spaces in the hotel are in very good condition. I will be staying here from now on for the quite frequent times that I fly from Detroit.”

• Fitness center, friendly staff, close to airport.
• Price.

“I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. One reason I chose this hotel was the fitness center and it was quite satisfactory. Fitness center had treadmill, stairmaster and bike in good shape and even had some weights and weight machines. Given the price, I think this is an excellent choice for a overnight or two night stay.”

• The friendly reception we received upon checking in.
• The room temperature was very warm and it did not cool down very quickly.

“Good location for traveling in and out of the Detroit metro airport. It is located just blocks away from the rental car return locations. It's near a busy airport so expect to hear a lot of air traffic during the night.”

• A long way from town, 1/2 hour or so.

• The attached Denneys restaurant was boarded up and closed down.

“Clean, efficient, and very nice hotel located right next to the Detroit metro airport. Recommended for business travelers. The drive to downtown isn't bad at all, a quick jaunt down 94 and you are there. Very nice stay.”

• Close to the airport, fast shuttle.
• Sink is in the bathroom, very small bathroom.

“It met our needs for a quick stay after a late flight, clean, friendly. There is not a Denny¿s there anymore. Continental breakfast is pretty good, waffles and hardboiled eggs, along with the usual cereal, bagels, fruit, etc.”

• Getting registered at the desk was fast and easy. Leaving the hotel was just as easy and convenient.
• The continental breakfast was okay, but no one kept checking on the food or waste basket.

“Overall, the service was great. The room was nice and functional for what I needed. I would recommend this place for people flying out of Detroit metro who wanted an economical room. There were only two things that I did not like and that was that I received a smoking room and the continental breakfast. The smoking room just had an odor to it. The breakfast was not kept stocked and waste baskets not emptied. I only stayed one night to catch a flight out of Detroit metro, and I thought the place was great for that purpose.”

• I liked the clean room with a big size bed and the wonderful friendly staff.
• I was not to pleased with the location seemed good if you are planning on doing business but for regular travelers it was kind of difficult to get around.

“The hotel was nice. The only problem was that the heaters would heat up the room to fast but the internet service was great and fast, and having HBO made it a whole lot better.”

• The sink was stained and Nasty looking. Shower didn't get hot.

• Noisy in early am from planes overhead.

• We like this hotel because it is clean, friendly, and close to the airport. This was our third stay here.
• There was actually nothing about the hotel that we did not like. Anytime we need to be near the airport, we will stay here.

“The hotel was clean in all the areas - lobby, breakfast area, rooms, hallways. The staff was very friendly. The exercise room was very well equipped and clean. The only thing we were disappointed in was the "deluxe" breakfast. It was kind of skimpy, so we ate at the Denney's Restaurant which was very good.”

• It was very clean.
• The shuttle was not running to the southwest terminal unless called for. Was not told that when called about the room.

“For the price of the hotel and what we received it is a good hotel. I would have rather paid $20 more for shuttle service with a different hotel that I didn't have to call for at midnight. When I am told there will be non-stop shuttle service, that is what I expect. I should not have to call.”
