• Convenient to the airport and all the places we wanted to go and the motel was a 4 star but we would give it a 10 star.
• Can not think of anything that we did not like.

“We walked into the room and said Wow! checking out the bathroom Wow! again. We were very impressed and will always go to Priceline for our vacation stays.”

• Quiet location close to airport. Very clean.

• I liked that they cut-off the swimming pool at 9pm for children, and adults could use it until 11pm.
• When the fire alarm rang. There was no clothes line in my bathroom.

• Everything worked and all things were clean and in good repair.
• The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't get to stay longer.

• We were nicely surprised with the room. While it was small it was perfect for what we needed. And (For Detroit) was nice!
• After our experience with other hotels in Detroit we had no complaints!

“This hotel was great for us as we needed to stay by the airport on the way in and out. We enjoyed ordering pizza late at night and watching the planes land right over our room! (The sound didn't bother us a bit). I also used the workout room and it was fine for me! We would surely stay here again if we needed a place to stay in Detroit.”

• Easy access to highway and close to other areas.
• The restaurant variety is limited in immediate area.

“Excellent hotel and priced just right! The staff is very friendly and go the extra mile to tend to your needs. However, they need to get more cable channels and TVs that show the entire menu. Having to flick from channel to channel was tedious.”

• No working ice machines near room, had to travel across hotel to second floor.

“Heating system in first room was terrible. So hot had you sweating then got cold to freezing. Ice maker near room did not work. Had to go to the other side of hotel to get ice off the second floor. Extremely inconvenient.”

• The hotel cook, on duty Sunday morning, was the most helpful.
• The restaurant server never informed or offered information to us about the Sunday Brunch.

• The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was located in the area we wanted to be.
• The hotel is sort of dated. The rug in the bedroom was soaked so we had to change rooms. Not enough lines for two people.

“Overall the hotel was okay but not the standard of other Marriott's that we have stayed in. There were several things that could have made it more pleasant. We were on first floor and had to go to third floor for ice. The paper was delivered some days to the room and some days not.”

• The beds were very comfortable & the bathroom was spacious.
• When we got to our room a man was doing some kind of maintenance on the thermostat.

• It was hard to find on a small road, hidden from view.

• Friendly shuttle driver.
• No conditioner in room, Did not receive wake-up call.

“I would not recommend this hotel as being convenient to the airport. Keep in mind that the shuttle stops at the Courtyard, too, and you may be the last to be dropped at your gate. We did not receive a wakeup call at 4:15 a.m. Our room had no hair conditioner but two bottles of body lotion.”

• Asked for extra towels and never received them.

“Very nice and clean hotel. On our stay the whirlpool was broken and nobody could fix it. We asked for extra towels for our room, we never received them.”

• Convenient to airport and very clean and well kept.
• Bath tub not very clean and water slow to run out.

“This hotel was very convenient to airport and car rental agencies. The staff very friendly and helpful. Had no problem getting downtown Detroit. Will stay again but the bathtub water flow was not very good but everything else met or exceeded my expectations.”

• The room was small but lovely. The bed was very comfortable and alarm came at the correct time. The early AM shuttle was right there.

• Clean rooms and nice common spaces.
• Very tiny room and no free internet connection.

“This hotel did not meet my expectations for a 3 star hotel and was far below my expectations for a Marriott. I normally stay in Marriott Courtyard or Marriott Fairfield hotels. Both provide free internet and much larger rooms usually at a lower price. Fairfield even provides a nice breakfast.”

• I love the down comforter. Makes sleeping very nice.
• I received a $2 charge at check out just because the hotel was near the airport.

• The beds.
• No microwave in room or refrigerator.

“We got to our room and found that there was no microwave or refrigerator but found the beds very very comforting. When the room flooded in the middle of the night they gave us a different room right away and we were back to sleep soon. They also picked up the tab on our breakfast and erased our internet charge. I was very impressed with the helpfulness and the way that the employees handled our flooded room.”

• Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice indoor pool for the kids.
• They were sold out of 2 doubles/room, had to settle for 1 king with 3 of us in the room.

“Nice comfortable and clean. Overall a good experience with the exception of the fact they were sold out of 2 doubles and the 3 of us had to sleep in 1 king. I was told that they were also out of cots so that was a little inconvenient. Restaurant had good food.”

• Rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable, low noise level.
• Problems with long term parking.

“The hotel itself, while not easy to find was very clean and well appointed. They had our reservations ready and were able to get us off to our rooms fairly quickly. However, there was no one there to help with your bags, and we were promised by the chain a parking rate for 10 days which did not materialize so that was a big disappointment. The shuttle also does not start running until 5 am, so if you have an early flight and need to be there early in the morning you best make other arrangements.”

• That the fire alarm went off at 1:00am.

• Could not ask for anything better.
• Someone smoked in the hot tub setting off the fire alarm at 2:30 in the morning, not hotels fault though.

“You could not ask for a nicer place to stay; clean and friendly place. The Pub at night has a full menu, and the food was awesome.”
