• The sheets and towels were top of the line linens.
• Mattress to soft, no micro wave in room, no control on fridge to turn colder.

“Nice comfortable room, mattress to soft for my liking. Only served a buffet breakfast in the mornings for $9.99 per person. A family would spend a small fortune on breakfast alone and what they served you get for free at many other hotels that I've stayed at. No microwave oven in room.”

“Of the six mornings I had requested a wake up call I only received 4 of them. I also had a large group next to my my last night that was very loud. The hotel did nothing about it even after midnight. At check out the lady did not even ask how my stay was. I did not see many signs that customer service was a high priority to the management of this hotel.”

• Close to airport, airport shuttle and free internet and smoke free.
• Buffet is US $10 and very limited.

“I stayed here for one night before flying out of Detroit. The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom area. The hotel is smoke free, which is great for me. They provide free internet at the room, although it is now wireless, thus you have to be sitting at the desk if you want to be connected. They do not offer free breakfast, the buffet is very limited and kind of pricey (US $10). Staff was very friendly and they even extended (upon request) my checkout time for 1 hour with no extra cost nor hesitation. Yes, it is close to the airport and you will hear the airplanes from time to time, but nothing that doesn't let you sleep.”

TV volume was either to quiet or too loud, no in between. Staff was friendly and helpful. In the hotel city guide offered in the room they need to have more than one place to choose from as far as food goes. Not everyone wants or likes Italian.”

• I enjoyed the space in my room.
• I didn't like having to pay for my breakfast when other hotels have free breakfast that taste better.

“Very friendly staff. It was quiet at night and nice to be able to order food to the room. It was a clean hotel that looked professional. As a side note I loved the water up front that had slices of lemon and lime.”

• It was close to the airport and it had internet access in the lobby for getting a boarding pass and checking email.

“The Hotel was clean and comfortable. Internet access was in the room for a fee but there was free public access to the internet in the lobby. I would stay there again if I were going back to Detroit under similar circumstances.”

• The food was great and so was our server.
• Clerk said I was responsible for TV extra I didn't use.

“I am a bit upset about a
TV servce charge of $14.99. I did click on to listen to music and when heard a recording noting I would be charged I turned the TV off and then turned it back on.”

• Location to both airport and my business location.
• Need to include continental breakfast to save business travelers some time.

“Excellent airport location, great parking, clean large rooms. Perfect room temperature upon arrival - some hotels keep the rooms so cold when not in use, you can't take a shower for an hour until the heat kicks in. I don't arrive at the room until almost 9pm so waiting an hour before I can relax after working all day is a real drawback.”

• My flight was delayed and they allowed my son to check in without me.
• Difficult to see from the highway.

“Courtyard Hotels are fairly standard. This hotel met all the standards you would expect from Marriott. The front desk staff was especially friendly and helpful.”

• Parking extra $9.00 per day.

“The hotel was very clean & comfortable beds. We were unable to get to sleep till after 3 am as the family in next room were extremely loud with outbursts of shouting & their child screaming, inconsiderate of other guests staying in the hotel!”

• Didn’t allow us to park the car during our 4 night stay when flying out.

• The room and its setup.

• It is clean, well kept, comfortable and staff is friendly and helpful.
• Occasionally during the night, I would hear airplanes as they approached the airport, however, I choose to be close to airport.

“I enjoyed my three night stay. I would stay at the hotel again. The rooms and public areas were clean and well maintained. I was extremely pleased with the hotel and the staff.”

• I loved the sheets and pillows and the room was good sized.
• Would like to see continental breakfast. I had to pay $10.00 for breakfast which I thought was way too much.

“Overall I was very impressed with the hotel. It was clean, staff was friendly, and room was great. I would like to recommend a cheaper breakfast alternative. I saw a buffet, got some food then got a bill for $9.99. I think that is just too much for breakfast. It wasn't explained well - I was just told there was no complimentary breakfast, but I had no idea it was $9.99. That is my only complaint.”

• It had a nice pool area for both ages.
• It did not have a mini fridge in the room.

“Over all we loved the stay. The only thing that I would change is have a little fridge and maybe a microwave in the rooms that would have made our stay allot more comfortable with children.”

“The woman at the front desk was very friendly until I checked in. I don't know if she actually saw the price I paid for the room or just assumed it was very low because her attitude seemed to change once I gave her my confirmation number. It seemed she resented my booking the room that way.”

• Availability of high speed internet.
• There needs to be I definitive statement as to whether or not breakfast is complimentary. I still don't know.

“The hotel is well located, with a shuttle to the airport every 20 minutes. It is within walking distance of a family restaurant, and its parent Marriott hotel (next door) has a pub and a proper sit down restaurant. Those restaurants were, in my opinion, a bit pricey.”

• The hotel was very quiet. We were not disturbed at all.

“Upside: king room was very spacious and comfortable. Hot tub and pool area were very nice. Hotel was very quiet. Courtyard area was very nice. We were given a small refrigerator upon request. Downside: We were told that we did not 'qualify' for the complimentary breakfast because we were at the lowest paying rate. The manager okayed us to have the breakfast but when we did have it the next day, we were presented with a bill for $22 (2 people). When it was brought to the attention of the desk clerk, she was rather rude about us not qualifying and said that "we'll do it this time, but in the future you need to understand that it is not included." also, we did not have particularly good housekeeping service. The bed was made and towels replenished, but no 'cleaning' was evident.”

• Business library had PCs with internet access and all day coffee.
• Sound of the planes flying overhead, but what do I expect when I want to be close to the airport?

• Close to the airport easy to find.
• Airplane noise. But not much you can do about that.

“Wish they would allow you to park at the hotel while you're gone on your flight. Parking is costly for the week. We are use to flying out of Indy where you stay a night in a hotel they keep your car for the week. We booked our trip before realizing you ca not does that.”
