• Location to the airport and continental breakfast offered.
• Outside insecure hallway doors and poor continental breakfast.

“For my purposes, this Ramada was fine, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's looking to stay somewhere nice. Would only recommend it to someone who only care about it being affordable.”

“If you need a hotel close to the airport with basic amenities but nothing too fancy, this hotel is for your. Continental breakfast begins at 4:30 which is perfect for an early AM flight.”

“Romulus Ramada has no refrigerator nor microwave to use in their rooms they allocated my wife and me. The room was smelly, and the staff on duty on 8/9/08, 5:00 pm was not friendly. Food taken to the hotel had to be trashed the following day - no refrigerators. Horrible experience. Another staff, I contacted the following morning for refrigerator, wanted $20.00 to get one into our room. Horrible, terrible!”

• Hotel staff, front desk (morn staff). Maintenance service.

“I was very disappointed with the hotel staff. I arrived at the airport awaiting the shuttle to come, pick me up and take me to the hotel. I called hotel to inform them that I was in the designated location. After 4 times calling the hotel, they finally showed up. an hour and a half later. I was surprised to see the hotel was not but 5 min from the airport. I could have walked there! Upon arrival to the hotel, I was laughed at by the incompetent staff member who was handling my situation stating, did you have a nice time waiting? I was shocked! On a brighter note, the shuttle driver and the night staff was great!”

• Almost everything not clean, shabby, worn furniture, tiny bathroom.

“We would not stay here again. The room was very worn looking. We had a king size bed with queen size blankets on it. The drapes were so old and worn they would not close properly unless you jammed a chair against them. We had two rooms. One room had electrical outlets near the bathroom sink that did not work. We reported the problem but nothing was done about it. It snowed while we were there and nobody every removed the snow banks to get to our car - we had to climb over the icy banks to get to the parking lot. A continental breakfast was available, but the layout meant that only one person at a time could be getting food or coffee. Would not recommend this place to anyone”

• The check-in clerk was friendly.
• The clerk I called to check in with was rude; hotel was very rundown.

“This hotel was located in a very convenient location for travel from the airport. Shuttle service was also timely and available to guests. Free continental breakfast was also a plus; most of the staff very friendly. However, if you are looking for more than a mere place to sleep, this choice is not for you. It is very rundown, pool is only seasonal, and even the TV reception was not very clear.”

• It did not have kitchen, no refrigerator and the room was way too small.

• It was more like a travel lodge instead of a regular Ramada.

“If you like travel lodges where you enter your room directly from the outside and small travel lodge-type lobbies you will not have a problem with this hotel. It is mostly clean and efficient. The free breakfast buffet almost compensated for what this hotel otherwise lacks.”

“Hotel was located near airport we were flying out of in the early morning. Park and ride feature was a joke. Took over an hour to get half mile from airport to car on our return. Had to get ride to hotel to get voucher for car parking then another bus to get car. Never again beds were itchy and had old worn out bedding. Bed bugs were a possibility.”

• Housekeeping staff was annoying and persistent in the morning.

“Old fashioned, enter-from-the-outside rooms are pretty no-frills, but serve the purpose if you need a room close to the airport. They offer a breakfast in the lobby, but I'm a late riser. Housekeeping kept knocking and yelling "Housekeeping!" even after I made them aware that I was there and not ready to leave until check-out time.”

• Paid for 7 days of parking when I returned hotel had had my car towed.

“Overall a bad experience. I paid for 7 days of parking and when I returned the hotel had had my car towed stating that their lot was full and people that had not paid were parking in their lot. If they are going to be in the parking business then they need to have a better system of which cars have paid. I will never stay at a Ramada again because of this experience and the management unwillingness to handle situation.”

“This was the worst "motel" I have ever stayed at. This did not deserve a 2 star rating. The rooms were accessed from the outside; there were stains on the carpet. The handles were falling off the doors and the toilet paper holder was on the ground. I will never stay at this "motel" again.”

“Room smelled like urine. Was told shuttle is available to pick me up from rental car facility. After waiting for 15 minutes, rental car employee tells me they called and asked me to shuttle to the airport. Total wait time was 1.5 hours for a shuttle that is supposed to run every 30 minutes. Reported urine smelling room upon arrival back to hotel. Staff just states "oh, really." On way out of lobby to room, staff states "oh, thanks for telling us about the room. We will get that handled tomorrow." Was never offered a different room even when I got visibly angry walking out the door with my daughter telling her we were returning to the urine smelling room. Floor was filthy. Room felt damp. Bedding smelled stale. I would never recommend this hotel.”

• Hotel food personnel very friendly and helpful.
• Bathroom shower leaked flooding bathroom, promises made to fix each day and was not done.

“Hot continental breakfast buffet was good. Personnel taking care of buffet very friendly and helpful. Shower leaked and flooded bathroom floor everyday. We were promised It would be fixed and It never was fixed. Room floor was never swept and garbage was not emptied. When reported nothing was every done to accommodate us.”

• The Internet was very easy and fast. Employees very helpful. Convenience to airport and rental car pick up and drop off.
• Pictures did not reflect a true appearance. Hotel appearance was run down.

“Hotel has potential to be a 3 possible 4 star. Hotel needs to fix cosmetic flaws. Overall, employees very friendly and helpful. Environment felt safe. Hotel should inform guest that doors are exposed to the open and not in an enclosed hallway. This is a safety issue for women traveling alone.”

• Double beds not queen-size too soft; tub faucet turn to cold for hot and vice versa.

“Morning breakfast very good with very courteous maintenance staff. When I called about the tub not having hot water, I was offered another room but it was too much trouble to repack to move so it was suggested that we could just go there to shower. When maintenance man came down with key to another room he told us that the faucet was incorrectly installed and to turn to the right (blue) for hot water and to the left (red) for cold. Then he returned to fix something else in the tub. I think maybe it was something to do with the drain.”

• Asked and confirmed a room with two (2) double beds and got one queen size bed with a pull out cot and only one set of towels even though there were.
