• Really like the suite floor plan and complimentary breakfast.

“Consistent with quality I have come to expect from Hilton/Embassy Suites. The lobby is not as elaborate as some I have stayed in; however, beautiful still. The manager and front desk staff could not have been more professional, pleasant and helpful.”

• Beautiful room & lobby, free happy hour with snacks, and free breakfast, and free wifi
• Too many kids--pool continually crowded with kids till 11 pm. Room overlooked pool.

“Beautiful but apparantly catering to kids' sport teams. Great happy hour with free snacks. Free Wifi. Beautiful lobby and rooms. Suggest pool be for adults ONLY from 10-11--other hotels do this. Was loud from pool as room overlooked pool and kids being kids. Overall, though, a great place.”

“Nice new small suites hotel. Van took a while to pick up for its close proximity but the van driver was very nice and made up for the wait. The lobby and restaurant was good!”

• I liked everything and will make it my favorite.

“The staff was superb and very friendly. The rooms were not only clean, but the decorations were outstanding. The location is close to the highway and the airport. Inside the hotel, there is no indication that an airport is nearby as you cannot hear airplanes at all. The breakfast was delicious and the variety was wonderful. It will be my next selection on business travel.”

“Everything seemed to be clean and well kept except the bathroom, which on the surface was clean. I noticed while using the toilet that there were
hairs in the corner near the tub and the corner near the door. This was a little coincidental for me. Everything else seemed to be clean but that had me second guessing everything. Fortunately, it was noticed just before I checked out as opposed to be wondering all night what I was sleeping on.

• We loved the attractiveness of the room, the comfortableness of bed and pillows. Breakfast was great!

“I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The pool and hot tub were a surprise, as I didn’t think this particular hotel had them. We loved the breakfast in the morning, the room was great, I loved the feather pillows and the bed was very comfortable.

• Fresh fruit not ripe and pricey dinner menu.

“The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Retro 60's look throughout. Small facility, only 3 stories but huge lobby opens into the dining area. Would definitely visit again! Well worth the money.”

• The decorum of this hotel made u feel that you were in an upscale place. The furnishings were wisely chosen and the ambiance/atmosphere was the bomb!

• It was excellent.

“This was a good hotel. They have a free shuttle from the airport and will also take you to pick up your rental car as well and will pick you up after you turn it in. The free cooked to order Omelet breakfast was great as well. All in all I would recommend this hotel to others, and I would not mind staying here again either.”

  was phenomenal.

“Quick and timely shuttle service to and from airport. The rooms are recently remodeled and furnished. Beds and towels were 4-star quality. Loved having fridge and microwave in the room. Manager's nightly reception was fantastic, as was the daily made to order breakfast. Had everything you could want for breakfast. Even had salsa for the eggs and omelets. Indoor/outdoor pool, spa and gym were simple but adequate. Loved everything about this hotel. Top notch experience for business or leisure travel. Staff was great.”

• The free breakfast and evening open bar were a wonderful surprise!
• I needed some black shoe polish and they didn't have common misc. that business travelers might need.

“Our stay at this hotel was incredible. I have stayed in many of the hotels in this area in the past; but this hotel far exceeded all of my expectations. The staff for the most part was friendly and helpful, the hotel amenities were wonderful and the free open bar in the evening with appetizers is not something many hotels offer. I will definitely stay there again while in Detroit!”

• I can not say only one thing that I liked about this hotel, everything was great.
• I know that this is petty but the only thing that I did not like is the door nearest to our room to get to the pool was locked.

“The people were very friendly, the rooms were perfect, checking in was easy, there were no hassles. I was a little disappointed at breakfast because there was no biscuits and gravy. The best thing was the price.”

• Spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast.
• Maid broke deadlock to get in while we were still using restroom in room but not yet checked out.

“Great hotel, except for the incident with the maid. We had loaded our stuff out to the car and gone to eat breakfast. When I went back up to use the bathroom, the maid broke into the room (we hadn't checked out yet), broke the deadlock off and everything. I had yelled just a minute from the restroom, but she apparently didn't hear me. Still - totally inappropriate and unnecessary.”

“Embassy Suites is a beautiful hotel with many amenities. We all loved the free breakfast and the free food during the evening hours. My kids enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool, which kept them busy! Overall, it was one of our favorite places!”

• Services at the hotel end at 11:00 pm.

“Great hotel, clean, spacious and good price. Although we arrived with a baby after 11:00 pm and we were told that there no one to get us a crib, the staff did manage to get us one. But that rule should be changed since it would have been a great discomfort to us if we didn't have a crib for the baby to sleep in. Thanks.”

• Great beds and comfortable work area.
• Parking spaces are far from hotel and in not well light areas on busy Friday and Saturday nights.

“Great hotel. Room was very clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable with lots of room to relax. If you're staying on a Friday or Saturday night and arriving later in the evening be prepared to walk a good distance in the dark to the front lobby.”

• The receptionist at the front desk was curt.

“This room was a suite and each room had a flat screen TV. It also came equipped with couch, desk, microwave, and fridge. I thought it was great for a couple or small family. The lobby was really neat and open. In the evening there was an open bar with snack and the breakfast was awesome!”

• Two flat screen HDTVs in the room. Room was very clean. Also had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
• Street sign for the street the hotel was on was very small and hard to see coming off of the exit.

“If you have children, this is a great place to stay. The suites can accommodate more than standard rooms. There's a small fridge for drinks and snacks. There are two flat panel TVs in each suite, so kids can watch their show while you watch yours! The made to order breakfast is better than most family style restaurants. The indoor-outdoor pool is recently renovated as well.”

• That they could give you a great discount on airport parking for ten days.
• Lots of noisy young people running around.

“Great location. At check -in they didn't mention the free breakfast which was not that bad. The room had a mixture of luxury and cheap construction combined. Two flat screen TVs. Overall it was a great place to stay before my flight and what I saved on ten days of parking paid for the room.”

“From the minute I got there, I had a great stay. Fabulous hot breakfast cooked to order by talented cook. Nice gym. Convenient airport shuttle, friendly driver. The woman at the desk was also friendly and helpful. Everything was lovely. No complaints. Would love to stay here again. I like Embassy Suites in general. This one was stellar.”

• The restaurant was under remodel but room service delivered good food.

“Setting was beautiful facing where the rivers merge. Clean, professional staff with smiles and helpful information about the city and how to get there. Breakfast was slightly weak but under construction had them pinched for space. Perhaps the new area will provide hot waffles.”

• The room was outstanding, the food excellent.
• A little confusing getting to Wickham from I-94 West.

“The Embassy in Romulus was by far the nicest hotel Ive stayed at in the Detroit area. The room was well appointed, very clean; check in was quick and efficient, check out was instant. They have a very competent cook to prepare meals to order in their dining area and a very nice lounge. You receive a complimentary drink in the evening and breakfast in the morning, with a great room service menu. There are great amenities - 24 hour fitness center and business center, along with a nice area for working in the room, which I believe includes wireless. It is very convenient to Detroit Metro airport. I would recommend it to everyone I know traveling to that area.”

“The hotel is located right by the airport and convenient. It has large rooms and kept very clean. The main issue keeping this a 3 star not a 4 star is that some items need repair in the rooms and around the hotel.”
