- Good price.
- Rooms were very dated, not a 3 star for sure.
“The Staff is very helpful, the public areas very nice. However the rooms are dated and what you notice in the lower quality hotels is the age of the air conditioner. These AC/Heat units are about 300 years old and make so much noise that is all you can hear (maybe thats a good thing as this place is dead on the end of the SE -> NW runway. Its a 2 star, maybe a 2.5 star.”

- The beds were nice.
- It needed some real good detailed cleaning.
“When I checked in the desk clerk was vacuuming, she finished the job totally which was about 5 minutes before checking me in and she did not apologize for the delay. The hotel did not send up, the shampoo or soap that I asked for, the maid service did not have any extra lotion.”

- King size bed was very comfortable.
- Lack of proper maintenance.
“It was not nearly a 3 star hotel. The elevator was broken (we were on 3rd floor), they had no wireless and the wired internet did not work, the cable TV picture was terrible until the maintenance man came in and banged on it with his fist (too bad he couldn't bang on the internet connection and fix that too). The desk clerk got snippy with me when I told her the internet wasn't working, and told me to call the '800' number to see where the problem was. I told her it wasn't a connection issue on my laptop, but that there was no internet connection at all. The carpet was stained and the hotel in general, at least our wing was poorly maintained.”

- Close to airport.
- Telephone did not work; elevator broken; ice machine broken.
“No markings on how to get to the room in the North Tower. No personnel in the area to help. During my entire stay, the telephone in the room did not work. I reported this, but my request was ignored. The elevator was broken - I was on the second floor. The ice machine on my floor was broken. They are renovating this hotel. It is a joke. Avoid it. I don't see how you can get a renovated room. What a disaster.”

- The initial appearance and lobby are stunning.
- Right next to airport runway, staff was unprofessional lots of partying.
“It's a 2 at best and should be so that when people first walk in they will immediately be impressed. Someone did some major updating on the lobby but as soon as you entered the tiny elevator you felt like you were back in the 50's. The furniture was old and the staff was unprofessional.”

The next day I was put into a room that was suppose to be accessible, however it was not. They had no shower head that came down, the cloths rack was to high. Could not reach the towel rack in bathroom. Could not reach iron.”

- Dingy, old furnishings; Rooms hard to get to with long hallways.
“The hotel was easy to find and the rooms are large enough. But overall, our room was not very clean (food particles stuck on the chairs, stained carpeting, etc.). There is only one very small elevator for a whole lot of rooms. Then you have to walk down a very long, unattractive hallway to get to your room. This hotel is definitely not 3-stars.”

- The bed was incredibly comfortable and that is very important to me.
- There were a couple of maintenance items in my room that needed to be addressed.
“Overall I was very pleased with the hotel. I would stay their again if I am ever in that area. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. The bed was very comfortable and that is very important. Everything was clean and that is also something that I pay close attention to. Kudos on the Bath & Body Works personal care items. - The morning breakfast was more than adequate.
- The main thing was the filthy carpets throughout the building.
“I would classify this as a 1 and one half star hotel. To call it a three star is too much hype. The beds were comfortable and clean but the flooring was terrible. There were black spiders in the bed and on the furniture. The maids did not always want to clean the room when we stayed there over a four day period. They did not follow consistent procedures for providing the necessities such as towels and washcloths in the bathrooms.”

- Skunk odor came into second story room, phone did not work and the carpet was filthy.
“Rooms desperately need to be refurbished. Elevator will hardly hold 2 people and 3 pieces of luggage. Our room was at the end of the corridor, which was a long way from that tiny Elevator. We really don't care to stay here again.”

- I honestly don't have anything nice to say.
- Dirty/smoky, stains in bathroom, internet didn't work in room, printer didn't work in business center, continental breakfast dirty/poorly staffed.
“This was one of the worst stays I've ever experienced. I had more issues, but with the passage of time, I've forgotten most of them. Dirty/smoky, one elevator working for 250+ rooms, stains in bathroom, internet didn't work in room, printer didn't work in business center, continental breakfast dirty/poorly staffed. This was terrible! By comparison, the Hilton-Windsor I stayed at 8/6/08, was excellent. I'm not a big survey-taker, but I wish I'd taken your survey for that night, because, by comparison to the Metropolitan, the Hilton/Windsor hotel should be 10 stars!”

- Room smelled, overall atmosphere was cheap - not classy.
“Situated right by airport therefore convenient for plane travelers. Charm less neighborhood so not good for vacation visitors. Restaurant was ok but not great.”

- Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
- Rooms/hallways need updating.
“Location and public spaces are very nice. good location to airport (located on hotel row). Staff was exceptionally helpful, rooms and hallways need updating, and cheaply appointed rooms, free breakfast was disappointing. But all in all was ok.”

- Bar area was very cozy, bar staff was pleasant.
- There was no control, people running up and down hallways, so loud, I just wanted some sleep.
“I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The lobby and bar areas are nice, but the room reeked of smoke and was filthy. People were outside my door at all hours of the night and early morning speaking loud enough for the front desk to have heard and done nothing. It was a miserable experience. I travel for a living and have never had such a bad experience.”

- The price was not bad.
- The non smoking room smelled very much like smoke.
“We arrived at 8pm because it was close to the airport, and we had a 6am flight. We got a non smoking room that had continual smoke from the adjacent rooms. I asked if we could move, and they said the hotel was sold out. After arriving at 8 we wanted something to eat. There was not much in the hotel so we had to travel a half hour to get somewhere to eat. By the time we got back, all the shops and everything at the hotel were closed.”
