• The room was very accommodating. Nicely appointed, comfortable and clean.
• The front desk staff. Snooty - not at all interested in my needs. Just wanted to get me out of the way.

“The hotel property is lovely with a great location. The proximity to the mall is a great bonus - and the location to the interstate system in Detroit area is excellent. The front desk staff. Not so good. Too bad for such a nice hotel.”

• It was clean, spacious, and friendly. The shop in the lobby was great!
• No free internet in the guest rooms.

“The hotel was great! Spacious, clean, and the restaurant in the lobby was buzzing with business! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and they found two rooms right next to each other for our party. It was close to a lot of restaurants, a mall, a movie theater, and the highway. the convenience store in the lobby (which had great prices) was the icing on the cake! Also had an indoor pool, but we didn't use it due to time constraints!”

• The friendly atmosphere.
• The constant slamming of doors all throughout the night.

“I would be likely to recommend this hotel if the slamming of doors was not a consistent battle on both evenings even after complaining to the front desk. Also that Wi-Fi is offered to only executives not anyone staying at the hotel as a regular guest.”

• Location.
• Messed up check in.

“Left saturday morning got back late saturday nite room had not been touched no clean towels beds not made said maid didnt know any one was in room. man came in 7:30 friday morning with key didn't knock said didn't think anyone was in room. Scare us! Was not happy with front desk.”

“Didn't clean room or bring towels on Saturday night of our stay. Didn’t like that man opened door at 7:30 in morning with out knocking said they did know any one was in room. It was scary!”

• I enjoyed so much I actually felt kind of guilty paying what we did. Wonderful!
• I really can't think of anything.

“My family and friends loved it. It is attached to a mall and the kids loved going shopping while we sat outside in an alcove with tables that was attached to the restaurant. In this area they had gas fire pits to keep you warm if the evening was cool. Staff was very friendly. We will stay again when our soccer team plays in Livonia.”

• Accommodating staff, easily facilitated our relocating to better room/location.
• Initial room adjacent to parking lot & service area on first floor.

“This is a very nice Hotel, with an excellent on-site restaurant with high quality, and interesting food options. The rooms are well appointed, with large high definition Televisions, and very nice king size beds and single sleeper sofa's adequate for one child or with two standard beds.”

• Excellent updated rooms, good restaurant, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. Great rooms that look recently remodeled. Huge flat screen TVs and comfortable beds. The staff was one of the most helpful of any hotel I've stayed in. I would definitely stay there again!”

“The hotel was very nice, we had problems with our room smelling stale and molding. Contacted the front desk which contacted housekeeping and housekeeping told her in front of us that she was busy and did not have time to check it out, came later with a bottle of air-freshener, no other room offered to us.”

• Wonderful beds and linens. Professional cleaning staff, they wear uniforms and are friendly.
• I did not dislike anything about this hotel.

• Loved the indoor pool with access to outside!

“The hotel is very pretty. Rooms are modern and extremely clean, flat-screen TV. internet access, wonderful staff. Was able to check in early with no problems, great indoor pool area with outside area as well. Never slept in such a comfy bed! Mall and restaurants next door.”

• The attached mall was very nice. The bed was comfy.
• No fridge or microwave, no continental breakfast.

“The room had a nice comfortable bed with an approx 42" HDTV. No refrigerator or microwave though. The room service was okay. Very pricey and not that great. I had the pot roast. It was excessively fatty and not very tasty. The breakfast was good. Very nice fitness room. Several treadmills, bikes, steppers, weight machines.”

• I found the bed and pillows so comfortable I wanted them for my own bedroom and the big flat TV screen made me want to stay in the room.
• I think the food might have been a bit overpriced.

• Beds were extremely comfortable!
• Service in the hotel restaurant was terrible, but food was good.

“This hotel was great. It was clean, rooms were nice, and the beds were the best part. Pillow top mattresses and down comforters! The other thing was no matter how late in the day we left our room, room service had been through to clean by the time we got back. Some hotels will only go through and clean in the early part of the day and if you're not out by a certain time your room just doesn't get serviced that day, but this hotel made sure our room got cleaned every day even if we didn't leave until 3:00 pm or later.”

• Very clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed/room.
• It was very disappointed. The fitness center was closed for renovation. The television and movie pay per view was very pricey, Between $12-$14.

• 8 pm arrival did not have our rooms ready. We went to dinner and came back and still not room.

• They did not offer a continental breakfast.

• Clean, great location, great staff members, comfortable.
• Was a bit uncomfortable having sliding glass doors on a first floor room.

“It was clean and comfortable. It is located in a nice area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small mall attached to the hotel, so you do not have to leave to go shopping! It was also very quiet. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other people. It was a perfect fit for my needs.”

• Charged 30 dollars extra because of using debit rather than credit card to be refunded within 10 days provided no movies, damage, etc.

“The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the hotel was easily accessible from expressways. It is directly connected to a nice shopping mall which was very convenient.”

• The beds are extremely comfortable.
• I didn't see any vending machines - maybe just didn't notice them.

“This is a comfortable hotel that is attached to a smaller mall (Laurel Park Place). It's convenient to I96 and I275. We have made this our base when visiting Ann Arbor and Detroit (Joe Louis Arena). The beds are comfortable, there's in-room coffee, and the bathroom amenities smell wonderful. It has an upscale look. There are also meeting/ballrooms on site for weddings or seminars.”
