• Very clean.
• Room doors weren't as secure.

“Very clean and great location to town, just a very short walk to the strip! The doors didnt shut good without a good pull but had no trouble whatsoever. No problems, very quiet area. Creek was peaceful. Great parking!”

• Location was nice and close to strip.
• It was a little dated, fireplace only was kind of worked and the room was hard to heat.

“Overall, we were disappointed with the room for the price. You could very early have got more for less. The location wasn't worth the mark up.”

• I thought the location was pretty good.
• The bathroom was dirty.

“When we arrived in the room, it wasn't what I expected. They had a musty smell in the room. The mattress had a cigarette burn on it. We called the front desk to ask for someone to come clean the wall in the bathroom. They told us there was no housekeeping available until the next day. We walked to the office and asked again. The man working said 'ugh' and handed us cleaner and a towel. Not the perfect start to our stay there. We were both a bit disappointed.”

• Location to Restaurants and Entertainment.
• Snot on bathroom wall, 2 roaches found in room.

“The staff and location of hotel were great, the cleanliness of the room could've been a little better. The bathroom of any place can tell you everything! I was completely taken off guard when I wen to turn on the air 2 roaches scurried out, ran up the wall, then down on the carpet at which point I could not find them.”

• Good news. Only had to spend 1 night there.
• Old, no parking, asked for non smoking got smoking.

• The bed was broken which should have been repaired before we arrived.

• Continental breakfast could be a little more intriguing.

“The price for the room was great given the location. Not a lot of amenities to speak of, but most of our time was spent outside the facility. The hotel staff was outstanding - very friendly.”

• The location was good - right on the main strip in Gatlinburg.
• Desperately needs renovating.

• No heated pool as stated, room we reserved not reserved for us!

“We may not stay at this hotel again, the fella that checked us in was a prick! The room we viewed on your site was not the room we received. Our reservation meant nothing to them apparently.”

• Great location. Friendly staff.
• Construction all around hotel. Found two roaches in room. Overhead at sink didn't work.

“The location was fantastic! The staff extremely helpful! The room had just been renovated. The overhead at sink didn't work so was dark. The maintenance man allowed us to use a lamp. Found two roaches in room. One in bathroom and the other at the sink area. Construction all around so difficult to park car. Walking back to motel at night a little scary with poor lighting. The hilltop view was beautiful!”

• There was a missing tile in the bath room.

“The combination of location, price and courteous staff made our stay very pleasant. Our questions were answered and if we needed something it was handled quickly and sincerely We would stay at this hotel the next time we visited Gatlinburg.”

• It was close enough to walk to the places we wanted to visit.
• The room was not in the motel that was pictured on line. The only view was of a huge brick wall.

“The motel was clean and in a nice location. The room we had was not in the motel featured on line and only had a view of a brick wall. There was construction going on next to us. Did not feel very safe because it was so secluded and far away from the main motel and office.”

• We stayed at the annex building in front of the hotel. it was very quiet and clean.
• We had expected to be staying on the creek but instead stayed in the hotel annex. The view was of construction on both sides and roof tops.

“I would stay there again but hopefully after construction is done.”

• The hotel location was really convenient to the conference I was attending and great in proximity to all of the touring activities. The staff was great.
• The hotel needed to be updated a little, but overall a comfortable stay.

• Location, facilities, and friendly staff.
• We would have liked to have had an indoor pool.

“Each room had two queen size beds, microwave, refrigerator and fireplace, small balcony overlooking a babbling creek and was on the main street with trolley service and many restaurants in a short walking distance. They also had a free continental breakfast.”
