Jeannie from Hamburg,NY
“I felt overall it was a very nice hotel, it was located 5 minutes away the Lucas County arena with little or no traffic problems getting there. All in all we had a good stay. I do wish the pool would have been open during the time we were there.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Brenda from Pickerington, OH
“Breakfast choices were horrible, some of us would like more than carbs, fruit and yogurt would be nice.” May 31, 2008 by
Clyde from Emporia, VA
“I will not stay there again, not fit for a dog.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Robin from North Olmsted, OH
“Our lock on door was broke, hallways unclean and not vacuumed, rooms old and smelled of smoke, it was suppose to be a non-smoking room. We did check out the dining/bar/grill on site, however, they wanted 12 dollars for a hamburger. Next time I will have to research a little better and take heart the reviews. I do what to say that the staff was very friendly, housekeeping, mint., waitress, but the front desk was very slow. I would not recommend this to any women and child traveling on there own. I would have turned around and found something else if my husband was not with us!” Apr 9, 2008 by
Rita from Gambier, OH
“Rooms were extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Finally warm colors of reds, golds and teals, tired of seeing blue and mauve in every hotel I'm in! Warm colors are inviting and restful! The staff was very prompt in taking care of needs and requests. We were impressed. No complaints or issues here!” Apr 8, 2008 by
Steve from West Newfield, ME
“There was coffee in the room; I used one of the packs the first morning, they did not replace. They did not replace the floor towel (shower). The lock on the outside of my door was missing parts; it did not look secure but it did function. The service level was unacceptable.” Mar 20, 2008 by
Paul from Caledonia, OH
“It was the worst place we ever stayed at. We have never had this type of service or accommodations threw you. We are totally disappointed.” Mar 13, 2008 by
Erika from Thornton, CO
“The price was great, the staff was great and breakfast was not bad at all if youre not a picky person. It wasn't very attractive, but if you don't care about that you should be fine.” Oct 11, 2007 by
Dawn from Hastings, MI
“I don't know why they are on your list at all. I should have believed all of the reviews and not just a few of them. Front window by front desk was boarded with chip board. This hotel needs to be torn down and made into a parking lot. Carpets were filthy with dead leaves on them, debris scattering the hallways. Missing paint on the doorways, walls all banged up. I'd remove them from your site before you have a law suit. Yes, the customer in front of me was complaining about the blood all over the walls of room 212. The front desk replied, "the maid is working on it right now" like it was nothing!” Jul 19, 2007 by
Arren from Columbia City, IN
“Hotel has nice pool and friendly people. Accommodations more motel like except high speed internet access.” Jul 7, 2007 by
David from Novi, MI
“The staff was very nice. We had a problem with our first room, and they got us changed into a nicer room. The pool was big but did not look to be very clean. Do not use the pool locker room. Change and use bathrooms in your own room. It was an o.k. hotel, but would probably not stay there again.” Mar 28, 2007 by
Lynda from Arcanum, OH
“The room was fine, but I did not like how the keys to the door continued to loose there magnetization. I had to have it reprogrammed 4 times. The door did not close completely unless pushed shut. I was disturbed by the fact the manager continued to come by and pull it closed! ” Nov 7, 2006 by
Roy
“This was hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The dark, because then you couldn't see just how dirty it really was. When I went to take a shower in the morning the shower knob fell off in my hands. Don't stay here for any reason.” Oct 17, 2006 by
Stacey from Findlay, OH
“There was nothing that was good about this hotel. I got a room with two beds one of them when you sat on the bed you was on the floor. The box springs was broken. The pool that they had was freezing and there was not hot tub. The TV in the room was only 13ins. There was bugs that I got bite by. I was so very upset and disappointed in this hotel. It was trash.” Sep 18, 2006 by
Elke from Monmouth, IL
“Seemed like a hotel that had fallen into disrepair. There was terrible lighting, dark hallways, filthy blankets (I found toenail clippings in mine!), and the pool had no lifeguard. One guest verbally attacked me for no reason and the manager was completely ineffective in dealing with the situation. I was traveling with an infant and young child and felt very unsafe. Would not recommend this hotel at all.” Sep 1, 2006 by
Violet from Grand Rapids, MI
“Good hotel for the money. However I better not get charged twice for my room. Once from your company and once for theirs because of a mix up in the reservation!” Jul 31, 2006 by
Randy from Bluffton, OH
“Great location. The owners were doing renovations during our stay and seamed to be going in the right direction. Pool felt great during the July heat.” Jul 28, 2006 by
Elise H. from Grandville, MI
“Do not stay here under any circumstances. The outside "security door" did not shut. Our bathroom door did not close. Our bath tub was DIRTY. We stood in standing water in the tub. We had to take the sink stopper out because we couldn't lift it up to open the drain. The room only had 3 towel sets (for 4 people) The "free breakfast" was basically cereal and milk. I hope all Days Inns are not like this.” Jul 25, 2006 by
James from Elkhart, IN
“Drove by and pretty much kept driving. Dumpsters everywhere, people were actually living at the hotel. Felt I would not be safe staying there. Pool and restaurant are no longer open. I actually never checked in, was not worth the waste of time! Ended up eating the cost of the hotel and going elsewhere. Don't waste your money like I did!” Jul 23, 2006 by
Ami from Onsted, MI
“This place is a dump. The property looked nothing like the online pictures, it's in a bad neighborhood, and the pool is closed until further notice. To top it all off the staff was rude. Beware!!!!!!!!!!” Jun 4, 2006 by
Sandra from Forest Park, IL
“Very nice.” May 24, 2006 by
Alyson from North Canton, OH
“Well, where do I start? One exterior door was bolted shut and the other was broken and permanently open. Anyone, and in this neighborhood, I mean ANYONE could walk into the hotel day or night and scratch at your door. Our TV looked and behaved as if the previous occupants had stolen the hotel TV and left their broken 30 year old TV in its place. The floor hadn't been properly vacuumed before our arrival with little white flakes sprinkled all around it. The "continental breakfast" was served in a dirty old bar attached to a dirty old restaurant which also appeared to have been abandoned 30 years prior. Don't believe the photos on the website. It's all smoke and mirrors.”
