• I didn't like the beds. They were only full size beds.

• Right in the middle of everything but sits back from the main drag (quiet).
• Pool was heated, but a little too warm, wasn't refreshing after a long day.

“Went with my wife and 10 years old (mid July). Hotel is only seconds/minutes away from everything (Go carts, mini golf, arcade, shops, food, Black Bear Jamboree, Comedy Barn (#1 in our book), Magic show). Gatlinburg/Smokies was an easy drive 10 minutes tops and that is during July. We were worried about noise, but the hotel sits back from the main drag and we didn't hear anything. Breakfast in Hotel is very good, although a short walk can get you to McDonald's, Burger King and a long walk will get you to Crispy Creme. Only downfalls were that the indoor pool was nice, but a little too warm for me, not refreshing at all. Also, the shower drained very slowly, so you're standing in 1-2 inches of water by the end of the shower.”

• The bathroom floor was a little dirty.

“The restaurant food was terrible. The coffee was bitter. The bread was stale and the sausage meat tasted bad. I asked for some toothpaste and the front desk told me they would send someone, but they never showed up. I ended up going down myself, and they were apologetic, which made it okay. I noticed the bathroom floor had hairs and did not look completely clean. The pool has a waterfall and that was a big hit with the children. The location is good, very close to Hollywood and other attractions. It had a business center with free use of the computers. This was good. Also, I liked getting the paper every morning.”

“Pigeon forge is tourist and the hotel was in the middle of all, they where also renovating this hotel and didn't mark off certain areas tourist shouldn't be in.”

• Rock hard beds, towels like sandpaper.

“The location was ok, but this is an old hotel that is in serious need of renovating. The beds were hard as a rock and the towels were like drying off with sandpaper. The staff was friendly but not a lot of help when we asked about restaurants that were not associated with the hotel. I will not stay there again since there are lots of motels in the area that are more recent and cheaper priced.”

“Nice hotel located right in middle of strip. Had an excellent room on top floor looking out over strip. Free wireless internet was nice and very fast. Room service though was little quick to try and clean room at 8 in morning.”

“I would never stay at this hotel again. It was the worst of all those we stayed in going back and forth across the country. I doubt the carpeting in the rooms had ever been cleaned!”

• I basically only liked the location.
• This hotel looked very nice from the outside but not inside.

“When we arrived outside the hotel it seemed to appear to be a very nice facility. But when we went inside to check in there was some kind of construction going on. Then when we requested a smoking room we were told ok and we would get a better room, a room with a city view. Well we got to our room I opened the window only to see the hotels parking lot. What kind of city view is that? The beds were all worn and it was just very uncomfortable. The curtains were also very nasty and stained. I would not recommend anyone stay at this facility if they are looking for comfort.”

• Loud people. Lots of people drinking and slamming doors.

“I was pleased with the room and look of the hotel. It is off the main road and looks vacant from the front some empty buildings looks like they were shops at one time. During the night I couldn't sleep lot of people drinking and making noise. I called the front desk but nothing was done. Will never stay at this hotel again.”

• Pigeon Forge is solid hotels so it was kind of hard to find.

“Ask for a queen or king-size bed non smoking room & was told that they only had them in smoking. We arrived at exactly 4pm which was the check in time. Then the non smoking room smelled like smoke. Hotel appears to need updating. Rooms & halls dark.”

• Beds were small and uncomfortable and not enough outlets.

“We had a great stay. The kids loved the indoor pool with the waterfall. The rooms were comfortable, and we were very close to everything in Pigeon Forge.”

• Clean and inviting lobby and hallways leading to our room.
• Tub was not very clean.

“Overall our stay was a pleasant one. The room and the beds were clean and neat. The refrigerator was worn out and wouldn't cool and there was only one light working in the bathroom, which made it hard to get ready; but the staff was nice and the air conditioning worked well which was a plus since it was over 100 degrees outside! Location was convenient.”

• Friendly staff.
• Pet Friendly hotel but needs floors easier to clean because carpeting is soaked with pet urine in lobbies. Room carpeting was fine.

“A lot of money for the hotel itself to be in such poor condition. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. - No Complaints there. I am a pet lover, but the lobby, hotels, smelled of pet urine. I think they should remove the carpeting and get floors that are more easily cleaned since they welcome pets. If I had to do it all again I would take my chances by renting one of the motels.”

• The lobby area was pretty and the flower on outside was pretty.
• The outside appearance of the building.

“The rooms were not as nice as the advertising of the rooms. When we arrived there was water or something all in the bathroom floor. The toilet looked as though it had been used before we got there. The tub was dirty, we had to go out and my cleaning supply just to take a shower. Someone did come and fix the problem, but then there was a bad smell as you enter the room. Someone did come and spray, but that did not last. We had to call someone to come again and this time we had to a least be out of the room for 45 min. I was very disappointed in my stay there.”

• I enjoyed the waterfall indoor pool and the kids thought it was great, also had internet access.
• No outdoor pool.

• Bed felt like cardboard cover over a very old mattress.

“Overall I grade this hotel a D - as in Dingy, Dated, Dirty, and Disappointing. It was probably a nice hotel in it's day, but that day was at least 15 years ago. It has all the amenities of a 2 1/2 star hotel, but not the appearance or comfort.”

• I really enjoyed the two Mallard ducks out front. I also like the little business center that was available at the hotel. I also liked the service.
• The elevators were horribly hot. The food at breakfast.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. When we arrived in our room our air conditioning was not working. I called the front desk and repair was done within fifteen minutes.”

• Room was not cleaned very good and smelled, common areas of the hotel were out dated. Not what I expected for a Holiday Inn.

“I requested a non smoking room but was given one that smelled of smoke. When I ask the girl at the front desk she said she would see if she had one. But never said, just took my credit card and then gave me the room keys. Hotel in general was worn and needed a lot of work. Would let you have a few more details about the rating system and the hotels in the area. I do not mind not being able to pick the exact hotel but would like to have more choices about the type of room and facilities at the hotel. First time I have been unhappy with hotels I have purchased on line. Thx”

• Not very clean rooms, coffee maker extremely dusty inside the well.

“The lobby was very nice but the rooms were not very clean. It looked like it had not been swept and the coffee maker in the room was dusty inside the water well. It was a non smoking room but smelled like a it had just been smoked in.”

• With all the attractions we were going to, this hotel was in a good central location for the whole trip.
• The room did not have a microwave in it. that's the only thing we did not like.

“The Holiday Inn Business Center is a wonderful hotel to stay in. It is conveniently located to several local attractions and the whole hotel staff were very helpful. I would recommend staying at this hotel.”

• We celebrated our 50th and were upgraded to a wonderful room on the 5th floor.
• No free breakfast

“We were on the 5th floor which required a special pass key for the elevator. It was a good room and very quiet. We appreciated not having kids running up and down the halls. Location was great, off the main street, away from traffic. Huge blessing.”

• Staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate.
• Old, needs refurbished, smells musky, shower/tub pipes noisy vibration.

“The hotel is old and in need of repair/refurbish. Allows pet which were quite annoying when left in rooms unattended to bark. Hotel was noisy. Could hear chats through the doors to rooms, babies crying, etc. Check on the price prior to registering to find out that I could have gotten a much lower price. I found I was paying more than any of the guest I spoke with by as much as $30-$40 nightly. I would not go back to the same hotel. The quality is not what I am accustomed to. Thanks for the opportunity to share.”
