“The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is very close to shopping and Dollywood. It is very family oriented. My child really enjoyed swimming in the pool and feeding the ducks. My family and I will definitely stay there again.”

• Location.
• Swimming pool.

“The hotel room itself was OK, not very attractive. As soon as you walked into the room the walls had been patched and then painted over with a different color of paint making it look real tacky. And the kids looked forward to the swimming pool however no one was able to enjoy it because the water was freezing cold. It felt like it was the middle of winter in that cold cold water. It was too cold for the kids to swim. They were so cold they had to get out and were not able to return.”

• It had a roller coaster on one side and a huge haunted house type attraction on the other. There was no shortage of middleschoolers to amuse us.
• Middleschoolers and stiff towels and no conditioner in the shower or toothpaste in the room.

“No toothpaste, no conditioner, not enought towels, towels that were there were stiff, roller coaster is loud, haunted housse is loud, bed smelly.”

• Very good location, close to Dolly wood, and very close to many attractions in Pigeon Forge.
• The water in the pool was very cold.

“I would recommend to someone that its looking for an economic hotel, close to Dolly wood. The River in the back is very pretty and it has a picnic table for an afternoon break from the busy attractions.”

• Good location.
• Thin walls.

“The room was ok, people friendly, but the room was right next to the utility room so we got woke up every morning by cleaning people rolling noisy carts by our room, and leaf blowers blowing. The walls seemed pretty thin in our room. The room itself was good, but I would recommend staying somewhere other than on the bottom level by the employee's room.”

• The bathroom was not very clean; dingy mattress.

“We stayed at this hotel for three days and we were pleased overall. Great location, helpful staff, the indoor pool area is great. The kids really enjoyed it. Some rooms are enclosed in the indoor pool area so I imagine those may get a bit noisy, since the pool is open until 11 P.M. Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from. Nice river out back where you can feed the ducks. On the down side, the mattress on one of our beds was not the cleanest (we only noticed because the sheet was coming off one corner), and corners in the bathroom could use a good cleaning. Overall though, for the price, the room was what we needed. I would recommend.”

“The hotel was comfortable, clean, and in a good location. Kids enjoyed the pool and spa. The kiddy's pool was great for young inexperienced swimmers; 1-2 feet deep. River behind the hotel was great. The kids played in the water and fed the ducks everyday. The continental breakfast was average; prefer hot breakfast.”

• The staff is very friendly. The pool was fun for the children and they loved the water slide.
• The room could've been cleaner. There was a razor in the shower. The fridge wouldn't close, but they switched it out promptly.

“The kids enjoyed the trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which was the best part of the trip. The location was convenient. I wouldn't have stated there for a long trip, but it was fine for overnight.”

• For the price it was an excellent place.
• A staff person stole our daughters shoes that she left in the room!

“This is an excellent place for the $. Clean, roomy rooms, nice location. If I were depending on the pool for entertainment for my kids, I'm not sure I'd be happy because it is small for such a large facility. But for a place to sleep, it was great! I'm very disappointed that some one took my daughter's shoes that we are 100% sure we left by the bedside. What happens when they clean your room if you stay more than one night? I most likely will not stay there again because of that.”

• It was very clean. The staff was nice.
• My room was not ready at the time that it was guaranteed. We waited an extra hour.

“The room was very clean. They cleaned the room every day. The staff was nice. I would stay at this hotel again. The only disappointment I had was that my room was not ready when I arrived. We had to wait an extra hour.”

“I am not real sure but I think the beds had bed bugs, my son and I were bit all night long the first night so the next day I sprayed the beds down with bug killer, not sure the sheets were clean either after laying in the bed and feeling dirt or crumbs all over, the kids went to the pool and after going down the slide. The room had a terrible odor in it so we left the door open for about 30 minutes or so when we first got there however the staff was very nice and the location was great.”

• The pool was fun with water slide and kiddie pool, beds were very comfortable.

“This is a great hotel for families. The beds were very comfortable- the pool is kind of small but the water slide and water fall at the kiddie pool made up for that. It is in walking distance of several good restaurants.”

• Swimming area and Jacuzzi were both too small for the amount of guests using it.

“Except for the size of the swimming pool and the Jacuzzi, this hotel was a very good value for a family to stay at rooms were quiet and clean. The river and ducks gave a peaceful and relaxing setting for our stay.”

• No complaints whatsoever.

• Three busloads of kids and they put us pool side.

“I placed my order two months in advance. I wanted a handicap room with a king size bed. When we arrived there was no handicap room and no king size bed.”

• The walk to the room after swimming was a very cold one.

• Comfortable bed, with refrigerator in the room.
• Right next to an amusement park.

“It's pretty noisy with the rides and the screams right next door, but as for everything else, it's a pretty good way to save a few bucks. I would recommend that if you are going to be doing a lot of hiking in the mountains, which we did, stay in Gatlinburg, it will save you 25 minutes of driving a day. Other than that, just realize that you are
staying at an inexpensive place, and not to expect the world and you won't be disappointed.”

“The staff did not hesitate to give us exactly what we had requested. We had a room inside the pool area. Being mid week, it was not crowded. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The indoor heated pool actually had a nice temperature unlike some other places where the water is very cool. The rooms are slightly smaller than some other hotels but we were not there to hang out in the room all day. There was plenty of closet space, a nice refrigerator and a microwave. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The continental breakfast had a small variety of things, which was a great way to eat light so that we could enjoy some of the local flavor at lunch. The lobby has a fireplace, some seating, a bookcase with a television and books.”

• Room was placed in the noisiest part of motel, the least desirable room by entry doors where everyone slammed through.

• Hotel staff not too accommodating when room was not ready at check-in time.

“I really like the hotel. The room was clean, location was great, it was a nice getaway for my boyfriend and I. Hotel staff was friendly but not as accommodating as I would have liked when we were sent to our room at check-in at 3:15pm and the room was not cleaned yet. When I let the hotel staff know, it seemed to me like they just blew it off. My guy and I didn't mind the wait so much as to the staff not being apologetic or accommodating. We had all of our luggage sprawled out in the lobby until a little after 4:00pm when we finally got into our room after an over 6 hour drive. That would be my sole complaint about the hotel. Other than the check-in, everything else was great. We even had a picnic one day with the ducks out back.”

• Location, and atmosphere, very quaint but with all the things I love (cont. breakfast).
• Pool area could have been bigger, and there could have been more for breakfast.

“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We had a king sweet and although the room was a little small, we rearranged the table and chairs and it was plenty big enough. comfy bed and great accents like oak bed frame and furniture. lighting was a little dim, but that could be called romantic. everything was great, pool, river view, very nice and seemingly off the beaten path even though you are right on the strip in pigeon forge, the river made you feel miles away. I would definitely stay here again one day.”

• Nice room with its own hot tub, king bed, quite clean
• My room was located by the pool and I was unable to fall asleep until after 12 am b/c loud noise outside each night

“Clean/nice room. Hotels didn't offer discount dolly wood/other show discounts as other hotels have. Staff seemed uncaring.”

“Our reservation was for 2 queen beds and they tried to give us a room with 1 king bed; not good for 3 people. They first told us they would give us one room and then we could talk to someone in the morning and would then have to move rooms; which we did not want to do. The person at the check in desk call the manager at 1 am to tell him of our complaint, which he somehow got us in a room with 2 queen beds that night. We did not have to change rooms after all. Then they tried to charge us about $170 more. It was just a pain at 1 am when we were tired. They were very nice about it all.”

• The way the rooms were set up, it was confusing on where all the rooms were.
