“I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very clean & friendly staff. They were very willing to upgrade us to a King bed with no additional charges. Great appearance, decorated for Christmas & was beautiful.”

• The breakfast everyday.
• The indoor pool was closed for repair last time I went.

“The fist time I stayed there was the first time I had ever been to the mountains and this is where we stayed. It was beautiful and it was in October 2007 and the whole motel was decorated for fall festival. we liked it so well. I got married in June of 2008 and we stayed there on our honeymoon. I loved it and hope to go back in October of this year 2009 when I get out of school for fall break I just wish it wasn't so far from home Dothan Alabama, the peanut capital of the world home of the National Peanut Festival.”

“This hotel is a favorite of mine in the Pigeon Forge area. I have stayed here before and was delighted when it accepted my Priceline bid. The rooms are comfortable and clean; the continental breakfast was great.”

• 4:41 AM fire alarm.

“Nice. Generally my only complaint was the 4:41 AM fire alarm and the slow response to it. That is terrifying in a hotel. I wanted a fire dept to come and check things out. That did not happen. That was disappointing, whether it was a prank or not.”

• The door from outside, that you were suppose to use your room key, did not lock.

• I felt at home, the staff was wonderful, the hotel was beautiful.
• There was nothing I could honestly say I didn't like.

“From the moment you enter the Clarion Willow Creek, you are made to feel at home. It feels as if you are at Tara from Gone With the Wind. The outside was decorated for fall with wreaths with orange bows, pumpkins, etc. The fireplace was lit, providing a homey feel. The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was always ready to help and were always polite. The pool was wonderful too.”

• Nice sized and clean rooms with a private patio. Also enjoyed the lazy river.
• Outdoor pool/lazy river need a little more upkeep with twigs, etc. falling into water.

• Location is not great, but worth the extra drive to us.

“We've stayed here twice and it's always a great place to stay. Wish it were a little closer to area attractions, but it's not too far. Staff is super friendly and rooms are great. We plan to make it a vacation regular.”

“The facilities were the best I've seen outside a resort. The room was not good. The ceiling was stained, the room was in need of redecoration, the cable reception was only fair and the TV was old. The beds were very comfortable.”

• The convenience of the location of our room was wonderful - right off the pools.
• Hot breakfast items were all micro waved - but it was free.

“We loved our stay at this Clarion. The pools were great and our kids had a blast! The lazy river was the best. The staff was courteous and thoughtful and the hotel was well appointed. We had a great time!”

• The lobby and breakfast area environment were well done and upscale looking.
• First room offered had smell, new room's bed/pillows uncomfortable, carpet didn't look vacuumed among other things.

“The outside of this hotel was really impressive looking and the common areas were upscale looking though the first room we were offered had a bad smell to it. Room furnishings seemed dated and worn. The new room I found someone's clipped toenail on carpet and coke or coffee stains on back of icebox. The vending machine's candy bars were melted and the internet service was bad in the room, had to go outside to 2nd level to get good connection. Other than changing our room, the staff seemed indifferent to issues like the vending machine and internet service problem. Also, a lot of spiders on the balcony and feared would get bit so couldn't enjoy the breeze, probably need pest control?”

• It was a little to far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the traffic into those places can get very congested.

• The free hot breakfast was great. The staff was so friendly and helpful.
• The location was way out of the way. Not near the action and a long drive back into the shops and restaurants.

“This hotel was so super clean and well taken care of. Staff was very friendly from the ladies at the front desk to the cleaning staff and the maintenance staff that we would meet in passing in the hallways. The pools were great as well as the lazy pool. Private balcony was great too. The location was not the best. Several miles from all the action in Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, but well worth the drive for the price and the extras. Hot breakfast was good for us as a family. Overall a great stay and would recommend to family and friends.”

• Hotel is old. First floor room felt damp, sticky and musty.

“This property is old. Most things appeared clean, though not in good repair. Our first-floor room was serviced by an old air conditioner, and we could smell the smokers outside (non-smoking hotel with smokers congregated outside). Breakfast trays from the clean stack were dirty - found an eyelash and poppy seeds on mine. Checked out other ratings of this hotel and expected better. This is a bottom-tier economy hotel. Pool is in need of repair. Lazy river is shortest I've seen and badly in need of repair - loose plastic seal floating in water. Perhaps a half-dozen inner tubes available to guests for the river.”

• Convenient to attractions but out of the way of the main drag.
• No smoking allowed even on your balcony. The breakfast was good but the same all week long.

“The hotel was very clean and quiet. The location was great. It was close to attractions but not on the main drag area. Room was cleaned every day and new towels and washcloths left.”

• We loved the breakfast; it was much more than just donuts and coffee.
• There were no adult hours for the hot tub; children were always there.

“The continental breakfast was great! There were biscuits and gravy, packets of grits and oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon one day-sausage the next, cereals, donuts, muffins, fruit cocktail, bread, 2 juices, coffee and tea. We would appreciate adult hours for the hot tub (perhaps after 8 or 9 pm). The first time we went, the parents told the kids to get out of the hot tub (it was 11:30 pm). The second day we went, the hot tub was filled with kids and two parents (10:30 pm). The staff was very friendly and professional.”

• Indoor, whirlpool was open 24 hrs and great location, balcony nice surprise, easy connection to wireless internet in our room.
• Outdoor lazy river pool could have been cleaner, dining chairs for breakfast terrible, uncomfortable.

“We schedule a 3 days stay and decided to stay an extra night, we could of easily went somewhere else but I really was so comfortable and staff was friendly so we stayed there another night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, any age. They even had rocking chairs on the big side porch for patrons use. I saw several people rocking and relaxing, talking the evening away. Just like home.”

• We enjoyed the motif of Gone with the Wind. We also liked that it was not right in the hub bub of town. We enjoyed the room with a river view.
• The only thing that was distracting was the helicopter business across the street, but it wasn't bad.

“We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room in the 2 Queens/sofa bed room for our family of five. Not the most comfortable beds in the world, but nothing is as comfy as my own bed. We liked the motif of the hotel and really did like the location. It did take a little while to get to restaurants and such, but not bad. We were there during the weekdays though. Overall, great hotel. Our family really enjoyed it.”

• The look of it was very nice.
• Beds were not really comfortable.

“Overall the facility was nice but at the pool there was a railing, that 1 side was completely disconnected which was a safety issue. The rooms were large enough but the beds & linens were not a very good quality. The employees were friendly & helpful but due to the distance from area attractions I would not choose this location in the future.”

• Lazy river was used improperly by guests, bag of dirty laundry left in room one day, no microwave in room.

• This hotel is very quiet; we thought we were the only ones on the floor. It was very relaxing here.
• It is at least 25 minutes away from Gatlinburg. The room appeared clean but had debris under beds.

“The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the quiet setting as opposed to being in Gatlinburg. The front staff friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff could do a bit better by cleaning under and behind furniture.”

• In-room microwave was not available. Complimentary breakfast was poor. Limited space for parking.

“Credits-- Good location. They kept a lot of discount coupons to various attractions. House keeping was good. In-door and Out-door pools. Well maintained spacious rooms. Critics-- Option was not given to choose bed type. Complimentary breakfast doesn't have many varieties. The quality of the cereals served at the breakfast was not good. We drank apple juice as if we were drinking water. The taste of the coffee was horrible. Only a limited space was left for parking. The receptionists were not people friendly. Not present in the room-- 1) Microwave, 2) Liquid hand wash, 3) Hand shower and 4) Dead battery for the T.V remote control.”

• There was nothing to dislike about our stay at this hotel.

“Very comfortable and attractive room with two double beds and fold out couch with balcony overlooking a small river and country view. Exceeded our expectations and even though a short dive distance to Pigion Forge & Gatlinburg area well worth it. Also a full breakfast was including with eggs, bacon, pastries, cereals etc. Strongly recommend stay here.”

• Gorgeous place, We felt like we had entered the set of Gone with the wind!
• I liked everything. It is a very good and quiet setting.

“This place was decorated to the hilt for past Christmas and it was fabulous. The lobby area was breathtaking and a very nice, friendly staff. It is not really close to the hustle and bustle and noise of Dollywood area or Gatlinburg but the distance isn't too bad. Great continental breakfast too. Coffee and apple cider was available 24/7. Good clean room with great bath area. Highly recommended!”

• Room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Cont. Breakfast had variety and very convenient. Kids loved the outside pool and staff friendly.
• We weren't able to stay as long as we would have liked to.

“We would certainly return to this hotel because of its location near I-40 and Dollywood made it very convenient for us. The hotel is new, clean and everything up-to-date. Our room had two queen beds, separate sitting area, balcony and refrigerator, which made the room seem spacious. The kids enjoyed the Lazy River and pool and we enjoyed the gazebo at the pool. There is an inside hot tub and pool but they are small. Breakfast had varied items from bagels to biscuits to fruit and cereal. Something for everyone.”

• Hotel was fine, clean and user friendly.
• Liked everything.

“Hotel was great. The only drawback was the fact that seven other traveling companions were able to get seven additional rooms with the same accommodations at a much reduced rate than I had gotten. Next time I will call the hotel first.”
