  • I'm trying to think I guess it was slightly better than sleeping in my car.
  • Terrible up keep.

“I would never go here. The bath tubs finish is chipping off and the room was dusty. I'm also guessing the linens were 20 years old.”

  • Nothing.

“The hotel smelled bad. The water was orange and smelled of rust. The heat did not work properly. The address was for Days Inn but the phone number rings to Rodeway located beside this hotel and are owned by the same person. Something is very wrong. Wasn't even a star 1. I would recommend this hotel to no one!”

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5
Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[7] • Location:[4]

  • The price I paid.
  • This complex needs a thorough renovation using quality painters, plumbers, sheetrock refinishing and heating/Air Conditioning replacement.

“It was adequate if all you wanted was a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to use. The location is not the greatest. The toilet banged against the wall every time I sat on it. The lighting at the sink area is not bright enough and the heat barely kept us warm even though it was not a severely cold winter day. An old heating system is turned off but still in the wall between units and the wall is bulging above this heat unit in several places. It may be from water damage or it may be mold causing the bulge, but it does not look good and should be fixed permanently. The microwave was not plugged in and in order to plug it in I had to move the closet unit out and move the microwave/refrigerator over (the microwave is attached to the top of the refrigerator). When I went to plug the microwave in, the electrical receptacle had a broken cover which is a safety hazard.”

Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2
Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[1] • Location:[7]

  • The hotel was located right off the I-75 and very easy to find.
  • The room was in need of updates and the bathroom was very poorly cleaned.

“If you are looking for a place to stay for a quick cheap stay, then the hotel is fair, but if you are looking for a moderately clean room then this is not the hotel for you. The staff was very slow, if available.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[3] • Location:[5]

  • Good location as we were passing through.
  • Not much around it, hard beds.

“Our stay was ok. Receiving calls from the outside was inconvenient. Beds were not too comfortable. It was worth what we paid.”

Overall Rating: 6 User Rating Score: 6
Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • The staff was friendly and the room was very clean.
  • The room was just average, all I can say was the room was clean.

“If you just need a room to sleep or store your stuff while you are elsewhere this hotel is fine. If you are using the room to entertain or for a business meeting, you will not getting a very impressive site.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • Close to everything we where in the area to do.
  • It appears that the hotel was some people residence.

“For the purpose that we went to flint the hotel served our purpose but it wasn't as nice as I was hoping that it would be.”

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9
Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Clean and neat.
  • Pool was not open.

“Clean and convenient for our trip to the Buick Open. We had a non-smoking room and upon returning it had a smell of smoke, but the room next to us was a smoking room so maybe it seeped through the walls I do not know. All in all it is an ok place to stay.”

  • I liked that the refrigeration worked properly.
  • I did not like the heating system; it was cold in the rooms.

“The location was very convenient for me and my family. Even though the heating was poor, I would still recommend this hotel.”

Dec 21, 2006 by Mark from Dearborn, MI
Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8
Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Very close to the highway, very easy to find, rooms recently renovated.
  • It had a small bathroom with everything renovated except the old shower without water pressure.

“2 stars fit nicely with this hotel. It is very easy to find right off the highway and allows for easy access back on the highway. The staff is very courteous and personable. They are in the finishing stages of a renovation which is very comfortable, except for the showers. For the price, it was great.”

  • Nothing positive!
  • Extremely poor business practices, poor quality, poor experience!

“This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Even as of today this hotel is still advertising a pool and their pool is an empty hole in the ground with tarps over it. They refused to allow us to cancel our reservation upon arriving and finding the pool was out of order, there was supposedly no manger available, and the rooms was gross! Stuff was sticky, dreary and my friend, upon walking in to her room, stepped on dead bugs and it was obvious! By the grime on the walls and furniture that they had recently sprayed and then not cleaned! Awful!!”
