• Better than staying in Flint where we originally intended to stay.
• Not much of a selection for workout equipment.

• Close to the airport we were flying out of.
• Wait staff at the cafe was not rude and very slow to serve us.

“The hotel was clean and well kept. The rooms were modern and comfortable. Pool was great, the kids loved it. A great hotel for business travel, or to stay close to the airport in which we flew out from.”

• The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.
• The pool was broken and there was no continental breakfast.

“The hotel has a very elegant feeling about it. The rooms are nice and clean. I would have loved warmer covers on the bed. I was very disappointed that the pool was unavailable and that they don't offer a free continental breakfast.”

• Central location & easy to find, good value for rate paid, excellent non-smoking facility.
• Booked king bedded room but had to take double bedded room, minor problem.

“Hotel very satisfactory with friendly staff. Typical of most places we have stayed was in need of minor repairs especially to lamps. Good, quiet AC unit. A little noisy with slamming doors until after midnight. We would stay again if in area.”

• Location and cleanliness.
• Receptionists were unhelpful and treated us poorly.

“We are a family of four. The hotel was not full. She could have shown some sympathy and courtesy. In all fairness, she did give us breakfast vouchers, but that was not what we wanted. The room was a non-smoking one, but definitely smelt of smoke. We were too tired to ask her for anything more after the first encounter.”

• It was very clean and the staff was very friendly.
• They did not offer any complimentary breakfast food.

“Every one was friendly and very helpful. Everywhere I went appeared neat and clean. Our only disappointment with the stay was they did not offer a complimentary breakfast of any kind. We were in town for a baseball tournament and the day of checkout we had a game scheduled for 8:00am. We did not have time to stay for the breakfast (served by the restaurant) and I wanted something for my son instead of fast food. But all in all I think it was an excellent experience.”

• Friendly staff & spacious, clean, comfortable room.
• Nothing, it fully met my expectations.

“I got everything I expected of a Marriot Hotel and more. The staff was probably the most friendly hotel staff I've dealt with. They were very accommodating and understanding being that I had a 1 year old and 3 year old with me. My room was cleaned every day. We had new towels each day and didn't have to scrounge around for dry ones. The room gave us enough space to move around without being on top of each other. In addition, the decor of the room was very modern and fresh. The pool and hot tub area was well maintained and well placed at the hotel. I definitely would book again here.”

• Friendly staff with a good location that I would return to.
• Lots of guests from the neighboring hotel coming to use the pool. The hotel nest door was under renovations and everyone who came to this hotel wanted.

“Off the highway, not far from all locations. Easy getting around. I would stay here for both leisure and pleasure.”

“The room itself was just fine. But, I was horrified to find a supposedly clean water glass in the bathroom with what looked like ashes in the bottom! Beyond that, the room was very clean. The staff was great. Don't bother with the breakfast buffet, though”

• Clean carpet, bedding seemed new than others I have been in.
• I would like to have this rate for everywhere I go. I just want a place that is clean, safe.

“They were very nice. Room was either new or just very clean feeling even the carpet, bath area, chairs, bedding and bed. These are what I find most important in my traveling. ”

• Close to highway, comfortable, great king beds.
• The standard rooms need a microwave and refrigerator.

“Marriott courtyard is easily accessible off Hwy. 23 in Flint, MI. The standard king room is very comfortable, we had a second floor room away from the highway. The hotel has Internet access and microwave in the lobby. Nice pool and hot tub for guests. There is a brew pub with decent food and drinks within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here.”

• Convenient to expressways. Clean accommodations. Pool and hot tub met my requirements.

“Enjoyed staying at the Courtyard. The bed was extremely comfortable. Not the usual hard as the floor mattress. The room was clean, bright and opened out onto the courtyard. It was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely stay there again.”

• It had a beautiful pool.
• The breakfast was too much and was not worth its cost.

“Nice hotel but not family friendly. The breakfast is usually included with the room but not here. It was $9.95 for adults and $3.95 for children and was not worth the cost.”

• The hotel staff was extremely helpful.
• Everything was wonderful.

“The hotel staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. The only problem was the route to get there was under construction. The staff was helpful in guiding us there and the best route to go when leaving the hotel. However, if I knew there was construction, I would have selected a hotel that was closer to our destination as it took even longer than anticipated to get to the hotel.”

• A strong deodorizing spray was used in all the rooms the day of our arrival. It bothered my wife, affecting her breathing.

• I was happy to leave after only one night.

“This property shocked me as I am accustomed to, and usually very happy with, Marriotts. This property has not been kept up; the towels are threadbare and as bad as Ramada's; my bathroom was grubby and I am still waiting for the wake-up call they said would be provided as I requested. Try to stay away from this property.”

• The hotel staff was the most accomodating that I have ever seen.
• There was not anything that I did not like about this hotel.

“When I go to Flint again, I will be sure to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. The staff was more than accomodating and friendly. Every time we left the hotel they were all wishing us a good day or night. When we arrived, the staff was very friendly in welcoming us back and asking if we had a good time. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was prompt in getting us what we needed. Overall, I would say that this is probably the best hotel that I have ever stayed in.”

• The Swimming Pool was very warm. Very Awesome pool!
• The breakfast buffet was too expensive.
