• Very nice hotel/great reception and bar staff
• It was all fine.

“I had to interrupt a vacation to return to the office briefly, and stayed at the hotel the night before an early morning flight. My wife and I found it VERY nice, the staff great, and everything we wanted. We did not have breakfast because my plane was too early, but we did have a brief drink before retiring, and the bar staff was exceptionally good, providing directions and help, as did the reception staff.”

• I most enjoyed having a jacuzzi room and coupons for dining!
• When I enetered into the room there was bllod on the basin of the toilet from another guest.

“The staff were very helpful. While bringing our luggage down from our room, my husband pulled a muscle in his back. The clerk saw him in distress and call for someone to help us with our bags. This is what you call quality customer service.”

• The room was large enough to not feel confined, bed was very comfortable and excellent choice of television stations.

• Was served wine in a dirty glass. Was charged for the 2nd glass of wine; luckily I checked the bill. The lobby is cavernous and uninviting.
  

“In general it is a fine for a night's stay. The restaurant over cooked my salmon, but then again what else could I have expected. The food was less than mediocre. Definitely dine out!

• Modern, clean, surprisingly good for area.
• No continental breakfast option.

“We have typically been disappointed with other Holiday Inns, however this one met out expectations on all accounts and even exceeded in some areas. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was all very friendly. There was a little store for picking up sundries or other things that was a nice surprise as well.”

• I loved our room, the pool, hot tub and how amazing the lobby was when you walk in! It was so open!
• They didn't serve a free continental breakfast.

• Efficiently run and upscale. Pool for family with kids.
• Designed as a conference facility. Rooms with window facing interior may not be desirable.

“Pleasantly surprised of the quality of the hotel. Contemporary and well designed room. Provides room service. Bathroom is basic, but has granite counter. Note: the hotel is designed as a conference facility, and has huge and empty (when not used) entrance hall.”

• Overall feel of the public area's except the restaurants feel old and rundown.

• Staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable.
• The work out room was small, and I couldn't get the TVs to turn on in the work out room!

“I had a great experience staying at this Holiday Inn in Flint. The staff was very helpful. Onsite laundry facilities were very convenient. Work out facilities were adequate. The room was very nice with an updated look. The public areas and outside of the building were attractive. The expressway was easily accessible. Very close to the airport.”

• Friendly customer service, hotel attractive looking, safe surroundings, spacious rooms.
• My floor was very noisy. I could hear the ice machine when it was being used. Kids made a lot of noise in the hallway.

“The hotel is very well keep. Desk Clerks were very pleasant and willing to help with concerns. My only concern, was the children were running up and down the hallway making noise. I could hear the ice maker every time someone used it. Rooms not sound proof at all. I could hear people talking below my room. Other than this my stay was pleasant.”

• Did not have a coffee & fruit bar in AM, but at the price I paid, no problem!

• Excellent staff, hotel shuttle to airport and hotel parking for a very reasonable price made for an excellent choice.
• The front entry doors were extremely dirty, and for "first impression," it was a turn-off. That was the only dislike about facility.

• Not up front for leaving car there (25) fee.

“Under remodel. Staff told me I had to pay 25 to park my car there. Never told when I called. I said no one ever told me this. They said you must have called 1800. I did not. I called 810. They said this is in case something happens to you car. I said that is what I pay car insurance.”

• It is in a nice location right by the highway.
• It is in flint.

“This is probably the best location in flint. It is right by the highway so it easy to go anywhere in town very quickly. Also, the immediate vicinity is very nice. The redwood lodge brewery is right next door! Sweet!”

• The owner or manager said he would give me a good deal on another room when I come again because the maids took off on Christmas and our room wasn't clean.
• There were spots on the carpet. The carpet in the hall and in the banquet area needed to be rest retched or replaced. It didn't seem to be that old.

“This was a good bargain and we appreciate it. With a few improvements this could be a very nice hotel.”

• Crab cakes in restaurant were gross. The steak was awesome though!

“I was going to do some shopping in Birch Run, MI. When I checked in, the front desk staff was awesome. We had a double nonsmoking room. At first, I was a little worried because it was above the pool. But, we closed all the drapes & it was nice, dark & quiet so we could sleep. The room was clean, comfy and just awesome. We had nice minty shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Also, the decor wasn't the usual tacky style you find in other hotels. Great hotel for people with kids. They have a pool, hot tub, game room & free computer use in their "business center".”

• The beds aren't as comfortable as at home, my back hurt.

• The restaurants were wonderful. Excellent food and staff.
• The room was not ready.

“This hotel was comfortable enough for the purpose (visiting family) but we had signed up for a 3-star hotel. Upon arrival, the rooms were not ready, the internet did not work, the remote control had to be replaced and the pillows were tiny and flat.”

• Good fitness center, good price, updated lounge.
• Expensive lounge, hotel as a whole is past its prime.

“This hotel was great for the money. It is a little outdated, but the restaurant is nice with flat screen TV's. Never saw more than 4 patrons there, so don't know how long that will last. Arcade has Tornado football Table, pool table, and ping pong (although the ping pong table was broken). Pool and hot tub were ordinary.”
