• The staff was very friendly and helpful, pool and hot tub were very good as well.

“Very good for business or leisure stay and restaurant was within walking distance. Continental breakfast was very good and area was kept very clean.”

• Close to highway and Cracker Barrel.
• Too expensive when you have to go to three doctors to get rid of the fungus in the pool.

“We travel North often and in the past enjoyed staying at this lodge. The last time we stayed there we had trouble with the pool. Both my adult daughter and her son caught a fungus from the pool. Three different doctors verified it was from that pool. When I contacted the manager to let her know of the problem, she told me I was wrong. She also insulted me. We use to love Baymont but when we travel now we look for another hotel. The fungus was a rash that was quite concerning and took at least a month to start to go away.”

• The pool was clean.
• The carpet needed cleaning and the mattresses were thin.

“Only the minor touches, like the framed mirror over the sink, raised this hotel above the better priced Super 8.”

• It had a microwave and fridge in the room.
• No complaints at all.

“This hotel was great for the price. Many places to eat nearby, Meijer's across the street and the breakfast was pretty good. My room had a fridge and microwave which I did not expect for the price, Hotel is easy to find and close to highway. I was very pleased.”

• The decor was a little dated.

• The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was well stocked.
• Room size, bed size and overall general appearance of the room.

“I was disappointed to see that the room and bed both were very small and was in need of some repairs. I was pleased with the staff as they were helpful and friendly. The location was OK and had some things close by. Overall if I were to stay at this hotel again, I would be more specific and bed size.”

• Close to the expressway. Lots of eateries to choose from.
• I could hear people walking above me. Kids running up and down the hallway.

“I have stayed at this location before and find the front desk clerks to be pleasant. I do not like the fact that I can hear people walking above me. The next time I stay, I will ask for the top floor.”

“The place smelled, it was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in a long time. The room didnt even have an alarm clock, the shower was disgusting and the carpet was dirty also.”

• I cannot believe that you still have this hotel on your list. It isn't even close to a 2 star hotel.

“I can't believe that you have not checked out what this hotel is all about. The floors were filthy, the towels had stuck on glue, and there wasn't even a clock in the room. The TV was totally shot and I won't even tell you about the bathroom. ”

• Rooms were clean, continental breakfast was a nice bonus.
• Check in was confusing, housekeeping staff repeatedly knocking on door even with DND sign on door.

“Hotel is OK. I would stay there again if the price was right. Rooms are clean, continental breakfast is nice, pool area was nice.”

• Very nice. They added a pool since I stayed there when they opened.
• The bed pad and sheets didn't stay in pace very well.

“They were remodeling the 2nd floor my room was done and very nice, only thing better would be the rounded shower curtains rods!”

• Freeway off ramp close, easy egress and ingress, snacks 24/7, fruit, no delay assistance from employees of hotel, courteous staff, good experience.
• It's in Michigan, I'm from CA. I was told that tingle feeling on my skin was called cold.

“Clean, professionally run, spacious, everything worked, plenty of extra services and the little things, like plenty of hangers, closet space, dresser space, a desk, air conditioner and Heater that was accurate, quiet and in working order. Soft and generously sized towels, supplied daily with soap and hair products, lotion. Coffee was excellent, simple to use and getting extras was not an issue.”
