• Convenience to tourist attractions and outlet mall.
• Electric door lock.

“For our needs this was a perfect hotel. I would recommend it even though we had a problem with the door lock. The breakfast area and lobby was nice, the overhang to the lobby came in handy when we hit heavy rain.”

“The first room assigned to us the keys didn't work. After this was resolved the bathroom toilet was not cleaned and the heater made the room smell bad. We were given another room which was clean but the heater still smelled awful.”

“Good lodgings but due to road construction, it was a bit difficult to see the signs of the motel. It will be fine after the construction is completed.”

“Typical chain hotel - rooms were clean and neat. The entrance to the hotel was a bit difficult to find - signage was poor and we ended up on the expressway instead of in the hotel parking lot.”

• The location was excellent.
• The hotel room looked shabby.

“The friendly staff make you feel welcome to this well located hotel. While the hotel room was comfortable, it was rather shabby in appearance. An update of lamps, carpets, bedding, wall coverings would go a long way to making it a more acceptable atmosphere, to which I would like to return.”

• The location was convenient and the hotel was quiet.
• Dirty scum in the hot tub, had to get rollaway from front desk ourselves.

“I would not stay there again. We had to wait approximately 20 minutes to check in because there was no one at the desk. When we requested a rollaway, we had to go get it ourselves from the lobby and take it to our room. Upon arriving in the room, there was a used washcloth in the bathroom hanging over the shower curtain bar. There were dirty scummy bubbles in the hot tub. The breakfast food tasted strange. All that being said, the staff was polite.”

• It looked nice on the outside.
• The pool was extremely small & was the smallest that I have ever seen in all of my travels abroad and in the US.

“It took about one hour to eat breakfast as things were not put out adequately for the breakfast buffet/continental breakfast, the staff seemed unfriendly; the beds in the room were to small, the pool was extremely small, there were not enough luggage carts, etc. I would rather pay more than stay at this place.”

• The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty good. The hotel was clean.
• The cribs are actually play pens. The other guests were very loud and running up and down the hall (not the hotels fault).

“Considering the price I paid for the room, the hotel definitely met and exceeded my expectations. This is more for a family then a couple. The staff was very friendly and I would stay again.”

• They told me I did not have a reservation.
• No one confirmed.

“They better had not charged me for this room. I never got a confirmation email from anyone as I made this reservation 4 months ago. On Wednesday before the Friday we were to check in my wife called every single hotel within 50 miles of Frankenmuth and no one had our reservation, so we were lucky to get into the Marriott downtown Frankenmuth.”

• The continental breakfast was ok, but could have offered fruit also; i.e. Bananas, apples.

• Convenient location from me 75, close to Frankenmuth.
• The area for the continental breakfast was very small, couldnt accommodate the number of people there.

“Staff was very friendly and gave us excellent directions to get from Frankenmuth to the hotel without getting back on the main highway. The room was spacious and clean. I appreciated having a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in the room.”

“Bedding did not fit bed they only made one bed the next day, did not clean room ,dump trash, vacuum, or clean sinks called desk and was told if there was a personal idem on the bed they will not do anything and they would get the trash and wet towels tomorrow.”

• Loved the late check-out time and that the pool/hot tub was open till 11pm.
• Elevator was slow.

“Our stay at the bayonet inn was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great for our visit to Frankenmuth, they have a later checkout time and their pool/hot tub was open an hour later than most hotels. It was clean, comfortable and the price was great! I will definitely be checking in to the bayonet inn on my next visit to Frankenmuth.”

• The room had all the conveniences - hair dryer, iron, etc.
• It didn't have a room frig.

“Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable and surpassed our expectations of a 2 star hotel. One small problem we had was the drain in our bath tub - it didn't work, allowing us to shower only. We travel this area quite frequently and a hot, relaxing bath would have been nice.”

• The hallway was cleaned but did not smell fresh, they were always busy not providing prompt assistance at check in.

“I was early arriving and no one was at the desk to assist. Finally, they put their head around to tell me they would be with me shortly and then said we were too early to check in. We came back hours after and still had to wait for service. ”

“I would not recommend this hotel. Even though we requested a non-smoking, we were told that the only way we could get one was to upgrade to a suite for an extra $45. Lots of smokers standing outside entrance. Elevators and front lobby were not very clean.”

• The swimming pool hour is great, from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. Also, breakfast is good.
• The whirlpool is not hot enough.

“Room is clean. Breakfast is good. In my room, it is convenient to have the wash basin/makeup area outside the bathroom. If the hotel can provide wireless Wi-Fi instead of the wired Ethernet to laptop, it will be even better. One thing they should improve though is that the hotel sign is difficult to see from the highway exit and this makes us miss the entrance to the hotel.”

• The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The clerk on duty kept everything full.
• The room had a different kind of smell kind of like a dentist office.

• I think our room had fleas -- our ankles were bitten.

“Overall the room was very clean. They could use some new sheets that stay on the beds better. The first night, the sheets popped off the bed; I found myself laying on the bare mattress. Also, the towels could be a little thicker. This type of towel is usually found at the cheaper hotel chains. Our ankles were bitten up -- don't know if the room had fleas or spiders.”

• smelled musty. We were not able to enjoy the pool due to the number of kids that were there.

“Our room did not "feel" clean. Although the microwave and refrigerator were perfect for our trip and medical needs we had. it was nice to be on the first floor. It was surprisingly quiet since it was off of the lobby. Great selection for hot/cold breakfast in the morning!”

• The pool was great. The indoor pool is ventilated so well there was no strong chlorine smell. It is surrounded by glass so it was like outside.
• The beds were doubles. It was very crowded with my husband. I got no sleep at all.

“The staff was very nice. The breakfast was okay, usual stuff. It would be nice if they had sausage, bacon, or scrambled eggs. It was better than just donuts though. The pool was fantastic, there is a large hot tub as well. The hotel was located close to Frankenmuth. It was about a 10 min. drive. I'd recommend it.”
