• Very clean room, convienent to our destination, good breakfast
• Everything was good. Had no issues with the room.

“The hotel was 5 minutes from where we were visiting family. Breakfast was good with waffles and cereal and yogurt and fruit and apple and orange juice. Towels were changed daily as requested and had good wireless internet. It was exactly what we needed.”

• I got lost in the middle of the night after 7 hours of driving & called the hotel. The guy who answered knew exactly where I was & helped me! Thanks!
• No inside pool! I know that cant be helped but thats all I didnt like!

“I wish I knew what the man's name was that helped me out when I called and was frantic because I was lost (04/18/08 10:30pm)! He was so knowledgeable and knew exactly where I was and how to get to the hotel from there! I was lost in Downtown Knoxville and could not get out! He stayed on the phone with me until I got back on the highway and knew where I was again! He was great! I tell everyone about this!”

• Rooms poorly maintained, dirty.

“Functional hotel for someone who needs a place to sleep but doesnt care about freeway noise, dirty bathrooms, or the previous guest's belongings left between the sheets on one of the two double beds. Dried blood on the wall adjacent to the bathtub was also a negative in my book. This property reflects very poorly on the La Quinta brand, which I have usually known to be one of the better mid-range hotels.”

• Location.
• The noise level coming from the third floor.

“The hotel was fine. It was the noise on a Friday and Sat. night I had to complain about and it wasn't taken care of right away. But the front desk was nice even though I had to call twice. I'm in my 50's and I like to party but I like to respect other peoples rest as well.”

• Rooms are spacious, early La Quinta architecture, but clean.
• Exterior is dated, no paper in lobby for breakfast, limited breakfast menu.

“Old Laquinta in a good location. Access is limited. Exterior is dated, but rooms are spacious and clean. Cable is limited - more stations available at a Super 8. Breakfast is typical LaQuinta (cereal and make your own waffle) - no newspapers and limited availability of purchasable papers. I have stayed here three times in the last 4 months and nothing has changed.”

• The price.
• It was a down and out hotel, noisy.

“People should recognize this is a "down and out" hotel; no indoor corridors. This totally affected our experience. Between 12 and 1 pm a loud group of thoughtless people were loud and noisy and walking on the outdoor corridor above our room. We won't be staying again.”

• Most everything; especially the outdoor entrance to the rooms. I assumed it was a regular hotel.

“I was disappointed by the overall quality of the room given the price paid. I was also very upset to find that my family of 3 had to share 1 bed when I was led to believe we were getting 2 double beds.”

• Its close to a Mexican restaurant.
• Total dump. Worst ever.

“Internet didn't work all week and the staff had no idea how to fix it. Also, I was put into a smoking room for the week after being told I'd have a non-smoking room. The tub was clogged and after a shower a foot of water would be in the tub.”

• Speedy check-in and check out, friendly knowledgeable staff.
• Vent fan in bathroom did not work, television remote hard to control.

“Hotel was very easy to find, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the room was quiet and well cleaned (there was a half-eaten cookie in one of the night-stand drawers though). Other than the non-working bathroom vent fan, the room was as good if not better than described. I plan to stay there on my next trip to Knoxville. Thanks for the recommendation on the restaurant, she was dead-on accurate about it!”

• The continental breakfast was exceptional at this hotel.
• Parking was difficult to find. We checked in late and had to park at the rear of the hotel when our room was located at the front.

“Overall we had a nice experience at this hotel. The continental breakfast was the best we've ever experienced. The hotel offered an excellent variety of breakfast foods and drinks. The only complaints I have are the parking is not the greatest and we had a smoking room because non-smoking was not available to us. Yuck!”

• Hotel was kind of hard to get to off of the interstate.

“Very nice room for the money. It was very clean and the room was larger than I thought it would be. The staff was very helpful at check in. I would definitely stay there again.”

• It was in a good location.

“This was a good hotel. My only complaint is that I didn't think it was very clean. There was some trash in the floor between the table and bed. The bathroom floor needs a toothbrush and some bleach taken to it, but other than that it was fine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.”

• The interstate was so loud I could not sleep at all.

“This hotel was great: comfortable, good beds, clean, healthy, generous choices at breakfast; however, it is located right on i-40 (yards away) and the traffic zoomed and zoomed all night long - I never slept more than 20 minutes without being awakened. If noise is not a factor in sleeping for you this is a great choice.”

• The beds were comfortable and we were able to get either king or two full non-smoking.
• The ice canister had what appeared to be animal hair in it.

“The only negative was the ice bucket. Aside from that it was clean, which is the most important and next beds, and they were comfy. Oh yes, the fan would go off when the air went off, I find that annoying. That may sound a little petty but you did ask. Thank you.”

• Staff was quick to respond to a phone problem. Breakfast was good.
• Really not much to say at all negatively. Only thing I was a little delayed by was the batter for waffle iron was put out about 15 minutes late.

“This La Quinta is located conveniently close to I-75/40. It is clean with a friendly staff. Although it backs up to I-75/40 and I had a room on north side close to it, I did not notice noise from traffic. I'd definitely use this hotel again for a trip to see a game at Leyland.”

• I did not like the location. the intersection it is at makes it very difficult to get in and out.

• It was easy to find. It was close to what we wanted to do.
• The Internet service was quite difficult. After my spouse left the room and went around the corner, it worked fine. A bit inconvenient.

• I like the fact that it had a thick curtain so the brightness of the room didn't wake me up in the morning.
• I wanted one bed, not two and they couldn't accommodate me on that for either night I was there.

“This hotel was alright. I had stayed at the amerisuites in Utica, a few weeks before this and it was a lot nicer. however, I was never sent a survey to fill out about that hotel!!!”
