• The staff was extremely pleasant and always willing to help you with anything.
• There was nothing I could complain about this hotel.

“The hotel was beautiful in appearance right from the start. When we arrived we were greeted and were helped with our bags. The free valet parking is a great amenity. When we arrived in our rooms they were very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable as well as the pillows. Our view from our balcony was beautiful, a nice retreat after a day of running around the park. The cleaning staff was sure not to wake you, and when we would get back to our rooms they were always very clean and everything was replenished and ready to go. The hotel was very quiet and never had much outside noise. Check out in not until noon which is great for sleeping in and getting your stuff together, no need to rush around that was very nice. Over all this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at during our vacations. There were two pools for the kids to play in, and right down the street was a playground, bike rentals, and a beach area by the lake. The hotel had excellent friendly service and made sure we had a great time. I will make sure to stay there again when I return to Stone Mountain.”

• All the employees were some of the friendliest I have encountered.
• The cell phone reception.

• 24 hour deli, indoor/outdoor pool area absolutely beautiful, dinner buffet with a movie in dining room.
• No microwave in room, the refrigerator in the room was stocked with beverages but not cold and very costly. Parking was very expensive.

“This hotel is very close to local attractions and within walking distance from the Marta rail station. The hotel shuttle did take guest within a 2 mile radius. They have a lot of seating in areas of the hotel that were very relaxing. The pool area was very tropical in appearance. Breath taking.”

• The location was perfect for a visit to Stone Mountain. It was perfect for our grandchildren as they loved the pool. We loved the bed!
• The prices in the restaurant were exorbitant for a family, but still what we expected.

“This is a marvelous hotel in a beautiful setting. Very luxurious in every way. The rooms we had were very nice but a little on the small side. Balcony overlooking the lake was very special. We loved the new flat screen HD TV, the first one we've seen in our many travels. We will come here again!”

• Large LCD screen TV. Lake view. Inside/Outside pool.
• Room cleaning. Did not vacuum. Did not leave sufficient towels all 3 days.

“It is very good and I would stay again. Just need a better cleaning service. Great transportation to campground and Stone Mountain Park. It was a good get-away for the family. The children loved it.”

• Pool stays open until 11pm - so if your room is close - it can be noisy.

• Nestled in a relaxing park, yet all the amenities of a luxer resort.
• A bit of a walk from the parking area that may be a problem for some.

“We loved our stay here! We are already planning to go back. I loved the quiet scene right outside our balcony, but also am spoiled with having facilities like the spa and gym, which this resort has. Absolutely recommend for a quiet weekend getaway!”

• Incredible view of lake and stone mountain and surrounding nature was very relaxing.
• Not much.

“Placed in a nature resort with wonderful views this hotel is a haven for recuperation and getting back to your true self. The stress and hectic pace of modern life will take a back seat to rest and relaxation. The attraction of the Stone Mountain Park is just a short drive away and there is even a shuttle bus if you wish. I highly advise considering this place for a vacation.”

• Helpful staff! Clean, inviting rooms.
• Unsupportive mattresses even though a bit better after changed out by friendly, helpful staff.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was updated, clean, and attractive. It was only a short drive from the Stone Mountain attractions. The food buffet for breakfast and dinner was very good with a substantial variety. The only problem that would prevent us from going back was the poor sleep we had because of the unsupportive mattresses. The hotel staff did change them out for us which did improve the situation a bit; I did still roll 'downhill' into my husband even with the new mattresses which still did not allow us restful sleep.”

• Enjoyed the gym and indoor pool.
• Not very kid friendly pool was filthy room was very small.

“The in door pool was very small and over crowded. The bottom of the pool was so filthy you could see peoples foot prints in it. There were wine glasses with wine left in them all over the place. People left dirty wet towels all over and at 1am they were still there. I was never offered Valet parking and no one offered to help me with my bags. They were having a large event of some kind going on. I came with my 5 year old daughter. The golf course is close by to the hotel but watch out for flying golf balls. My truck came very close to being hit. There was black stuff all over my bed spread and the shower curtain. The comforter was also ripped all the way across at the bottom. When I requested another blanket they brought me a scratchy paper thin blanket that had also been torn a few times. The balcony overlooked the lake and was very nice. I liked the hotel lobby and the Starbucks. But I feel they are way over priced for the service I got.”

• I liked everything about this hotel.

“The best Marriott property in my opinion in the 4 star categories. Its located on the foothills of stone mountain, literally, and also is on the tip of a sort of peninsula surrounded by beautiful lake and you wake up to look at the lake and the wilderness with the giant stone tm. Looming over as if it was in your backyard. The hotel offers complementary valet (which I don't get it as they could easily charge for it and absolutely no one would complain) and have very good service all around from everyone we came across. They even have their own mini Starbucks right in the lobby for your morning latte and bagel. Would get back here in a heartbeat.”

• I loved everything about this hotel. Our Thanksgiving weekend was everything we wanted it to be.
• We had a room on the bottom floor and we did have some bugs come in the room but it was taken care of promptly.

• It's a beautiful location and the rooms are very nice.
• Internet access was $14.95 per night. Outrageous!

“This hotel has beautiful grounds, and the lobby is spectacular. Though it's mainly a convention center, it is fine for a solo business trip. The rooms and bed were very nice and the staff was courteous and friendly. The only 2 problems that I had were that when first entering the park I had to pay an $8.00 entry fee. Once I got to the hotel, they gave me a car pass so I could enter the park for free. Also, the cost to access the internet was $14.95 per night!”

• Surprisingly, the sheets had fuzz balls & were a little uncomfortable.

“The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay immensely; however, I was disappointed in the quality of the sheets. I asked the housekeeper to change the bed linens and although the second set was better, they still had fuzz balls.”

“The hotel was very nice. We might go back. But we did ask for a king-size bed and ended up with 2 double beds for our anniversary and the hotel staff could not get us into a different room! So we were very unsatisfied with that. The food in the hotel restaurant was good but the service was just awful!”

“It is a very relaxing, enjoyable location. The breakfast buffet, while a tad pricey is the only thing I would recommend from their restaurant. The sandwiches and entrees are overpriced, especially for the quality. Paying $16/day for internet access is outrageous. You also have to pay $8 park entry as it is located inside Stone Mountain Park. However, the rest of the experience makes up for these few negatives.”

• Great location while visiting stone mtn park. Comfortable beds & rooms.
• Front desk and lobby were under staffed. Front desk associates were short and a little rude.

“There is a shortage of associates and poorly trained in customer service. (same person checked us in, unloaded our car and was about to take our bags to our room when someone else walked in the front door directing people at the laser show over his radio). Just needs larger and better trained staff.”

• The location was exactly what we wanted. The hotel exceeded all of our expectations.
• It did not offer free internet service.

“The hotel is located inside of Stone Mountain park. I felt our family was extremely safe here. Our room faced the water which we loved. The restaurants are pricey, but most hotel restaurants are nowadays. I was thrilled with our stay and would love to go back.”

• They are very friendly, great amenities a lot to do, close to Atlanta, indoor outdoor pool and great restaurant.

“I would recommend this hotel for a great close to Atlanta with a park like feel vacation. You can reach the city quickly for events but the park is secluded and beautiful with a lot of attractions for adults and kids. Hotel is wonderful.”

“I am sure there were rooms with better views, which is very important to me. With that exception my family had a pleasant stay. There is no food court or local fast food restaurants so come prepared for formal dining or buffet (when open), only.”

“The Evergreen Conference Center is in a beautiful setting within Stone Mountain Park. There are lots of activities to keep a family busy for several days within the park and at the hotel. The rooms and common areas of the hotel are clean and well maintained. Everyone we met on the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.”
