• The price and the location. The female attendant at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
• The first room I was given smelled like urine. I requested a different room and was obliged.

• Nothing.
• It was a cheap hotel, noisy, bad beds, bad TV, lousy breakfast, dark and dingy.

“This is not the quality of a 2 star room. It was compared to comfort inn or quality in, what a laugh. This rates right with motel 8 or travel lodge, a place to sleep but you wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It seem the hotels are being taken over by dot heads and they do the very minimum to fix up their hotels.”

• Close to shopping, interstates.
• Traffic heavy to get to hotel.

“Beds weren't very comfortable, but I am used to king size firm beds, and these full beds are the kind if you sit on the side you practically go to the floor. Hardly had any toilet paper and only 1 shampoo and TV needed replaced. TV worked but was really jumpy. But on a positive note it was very clean and clerk was fast in check in and check out.”

• Rooms open to the outside instead of into a hallway.

“This was a good hotel for the price. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was that the rooms opened to the outside instead of to an interior hallway.”

“This has to be the worst room at this location; also towels were so thin you could see through them, free breakfast was a joke.”

• Nice clean room, everything worked, smelled good.
• Really close to the interstate, so it was noisy, even in the room.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The traffic noise was a bit much, but I think the constant droning helped me sleep better. I slept like a baby! Everything worked, which you wouldn't think would be a big deal these days--- but it is. Also, I actually got the room I requested!...a king non-smoking room. All too often you check in and they tell you all they have is doubles or smoking rooms.”

• The breakfast is nothing much.

“This hotel just did not seem like a two star hotel. Not sure what the criteria is for star rating. Anyway, other than the nice staff, this hotel is a little better than Motel 6. The Fairfield Inn on Miller Lane in Dayton is also a two star. The Fairfield Inn is just much nicer.”

• The quality was substandard.

“I would not recommend this particular hotel. I have stayed at other Days Inn hotels and this one is below the standards I've seen at the others. I was very disappointed with this hotel.”

• Placed us in smoking. Feces on toilet. Busted door.

“We called the hotel in advance to inform that we would arrive late. I asked for 2 beds in a non-smoking and the clerk informed me that room booked was smoking and a king sized bed. However, the clerk said he'd see what he could do. We arrived to find that we had been given 2 queen beds. While the room displayed a "no-smoking" label, it smelled of cigarette smoke. The door had apparently been busted and was fixed with a joke of a lock. The tub drained slowly. Continental breakfast was a joke! ”

• I liked the helpfulness of the staff and the fact that a free breakfast was included.
• Our "neighbors" appeared to be living there and caused a commotion late in the eve.

“The location is convenient to shopping/dining and easy to access. The staff was helpful and seemed to want to make our stay pleasant. The free continental breakfast is ALWAYS a plus for those traveling on a budget.”

• For the rating it had compared to others of same rating we were disappointed.

“It was located in a very busy area. Many stores and eating places. Room was clean, but located in a strange place, behind everything. There was only a few other guest there.”

• The evning staff was very friendly and helpful in giving me directions to where I was going the next day.
• Road construction on the near by interstate.

“The Inn was clean, easy to find, and in a good location. The bathroom was the largest I've ever had in a hotel. When I travel to Dayton again, I'll stay there again.”
