• It was close to the highway.
• Hotel was shabby and run down.

“Do not stay at this hotel if you have allergies, as the moldy smell was evident the minute you walk in the room. Breakfast was not even worth going to eat.”

• Dirty bedspreads, worn sheets, bath smelled and toilet had black around top. Carpet dirty too.

“I felt like I didn't want to touch anything and was glad just to leave. Carpet was soiled and stained. Bedspread had vomit or something disgusting on it. The location is nice but I will never stay in a lesser hotel again.”

• Cleanliness and breakfast.

“The cleanliness of the room and especially the front desk area was sub-par at best. The breakfast included stale cereal, spoiled milk (expired by more than 3 days), and a lobby that had to have been over 85 degrees. It was miserably hot and very cramped! There was no sign or explanation as to whether the air was broken, but they could have at least opened the door a little to let in a breeze. The only good thing about this hotel was the location and the price.”

• Comfortable beds and a clean room.
• Location right next to expressway was loud.

“The staff was courteous and fast. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Good TV channel selection. The location was a little loud being right next to the expressway and the continental breakfast wasn't that great. Overall, for the price it wasn't bad.”

“This motel was fine was what we wanted for a one night stay in the middle of our road trip. I think it should be a 1 to 1 1/2 star motel, not a 2 star.”

• A little worn out, could hear people walking past door.

“This hotel was great value for my travel purposes. The room was clean, but was a little worn out. Everything worked fine, but you could tell that things hadn't been updated for at least 10-15 years. The breakfast provided was nothing special, barely one to speak of, but it's good if you like a bowl of cereal and OJ. The ice machine did not work when I stayed there, but luckily I had an ice bag full of freshly fallen snow. It could be a little noisy in the morning outside my door; I would recommend a second floor room. I could not hear any of the other rooms beside me though, so that was good. Staff was nice and turn down service was good. Overall rating for the price I paid ($44/night) 4 out of 5 stars.”

• The hotel room had several in-room features - iron and board, coffeepot, etc.
• Did not have inside entrances to the room, no elevator.

• Very close to the attraction I was there to visit.
• Dated hotel. Cleaning staff left the door open after cleaning the room.

“Not particularly impressed with this hotel. Dated decor. Reading lamp burned out. Hair in the bath tub. Hotel staff not very knowledgeable about the area.”

• It was close to the visiting site we were going to the next day.
• I was put in a disabilities room without being asked if it was okay.

“All in all, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they are on a tight budget and cold not upgrade to a better level of hotel.”

• The hotel was cleaned daily and the location was in an area with restaurants and shopping.
• The hotel was very diligent with cleaning daily and helpful if extra items were needed.

“This hotel was pretty conveniently located. The hotel is your basic 1 to 2 star hotel. Don't expect anything extra.”

• Larger circular shower curtain rod adds room in the shower.
• Small refrigerator was rusty and not looking sanitary.

“The room was clean and nice looking. For its class of hotel I would give it a rating of 3 in a scale of 1-4. Things I liked: wireless internet! Large rounded shower curtain rod. Things that needed changed: shower drain ran slow replace small fridge in the room the exterior door did not latch well the staff was very friendly and responded well to my suggestions. I would stay at this hotel again.”

• It was a cheap hotel, noisy, bad beds, bad TV, lousy breakfast, dark and dingy.

“This is not the quality of a 2 star room. It was compared to comfort inn or quality in, what a laugh. This rates right with motel 8 or travel lodge, a place to sleep but you wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It seem the hotels are being taken over by dot heads and they do the very minimum to fix up their hotels.”

• Traffic heavy to get to hotel.

“Beds weren't very comfortable, but I am used to king size firm beds, and these full beds are the kind if you sit on the side you practically go to the floor. Hardly had any toilet paper and only 1 shampoo and TV needed replaced. TV worked but was really jumpy. But on a positive note it was very clean and clerk was fast in check in and check out.”

• Nice clean room, everything worked, smelled good.
• Really close to the interstate, so it was noisy, even in the room.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The traffic noise was a bit much, but I think the constant droning helped me sleep better. I slept like a baby! Everything worked, which you wouldn't think would be a big deal these days--- but it is. Also, I actually got the room I requested!...a king non-smoking room. All too often you check in and they tell you all they have is doubles or smoking rooms.”

“We called the hotel in advance to inform that we would arrive late. I asked for 2 beds in a non-smoking and the clerk informed me that room booked was smoking and a king sized bed. However, the clerk said he'd see what he could do. We arrived to find that we had been given 2 queen beds. While the room displayed a "no-smoking" label, it smelled of cigarette smoke. The door had apparently been busted and was fixed with a joke of a lock. The tub drained slowly. Continental breakfast was a joke! ”

• I liked the helpfulness of the staff and the fact that a free breakfast was included.
• Our "neighbors" appeared to be living there and caused a commotion late in the eve.

• Road construction on the near by interstate.
