• It was close to where I needed to go.
• The parking was close but not easy to get to/from if you had baggage.

• It was so clean and new looking!
• Being a downtown hotel, we had to walk to the parking garage.

• Great location, nice bar area on top of the hotel, friendly staff, great beds.
• Dated lobby and central areas around elevators and corridors.

• The roof top restaurant was really nice. Prices at the restaurant were surprisingly affordable.
• The parking garage. Valet was overpriced considering garage was free and meters are right out front.

“The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant and lounge was beautiful and atmosphere was friendly. The hallways were always hot and smelled musty.”

• Friendly and courteous staff!
• Bad location next to bus station and across from convention center.

“Floor I stayed on was to undergo remodel. Dirty and dingy accommodations. Noisy as my room overlooked a bus station and a convention center.”

• Price and location.
• Shower needed to be repaired as soon as I turned it on, but the staff was very responsive.

• Staff was friendly; rooms were neat and clean and served the purpose of our travel needs.
• Not a lot of dining locations within walking distance.

“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was neat and clean. The price of the hotel served the purpose since we were traveling as a family and did not spend much time there. We spent more time out site seeing that at the hotel. I would go back again if I am ever in the Dayton area, no doubt.”

• Decent rooms.
• Somewhat overpriced for the location and accommodations.

“This is a decent, generic hotel. The gym is small and kind of crappy. The rooms were clean and the beds pretty comfy.”

• The food service was outstanding.
• There was a terrible smell in the lobby and lower level hallways. It smelled like a dirty toilet.

“There is very little around this hotel and downtown Dayton has suffered severe urban blight. As an early morning walker I was uneasy but somewhat reassured that there was a transit police officer on every corner in the morning and afternoon.”

• Bedding.
• No whirlpool, and outside pool prevented use as it was raining.

“a good place to stay when visiting downtown Dayton, Ohio, with easy access to highways. Our goal is to provide our guests with a unique sleep experience, from the luxurious bed and linens to a special sleep experience gift set. Our hotel guest rooms have been designed in a unique way that will assure you an extra quiet rest. We suggest you visit our hotel gift shop which has many unique items.”

• I liked the location! It was for the most part a very friendly environment and front desk employees very helpful!!
• Room Service food quality was terrible! I also had problems with the Internet service.

“I would recommend this hotel in the future. I had problems with the Internet. Upon contacting the front desk, they advised me to call their Internet technician who was on call 24/7. I then called "Norm" who told me that at the time he was occupied on another assignment. I was ok with this. Norm stated that he would be to my room #609 in a half an hour. I told him that I would be around and would wait for him. All of this was at 6 O'clock pm. I then called Norm at 7:20pm to see what was going on to which he stated he forgot. I was not impressed for the amount of money spent on the hotel for their workers to treat the guests this way. After Norm showed up he stated that there was nothing he could do for me. I brought my computer to my home and hooked it up and it worked with no problem. The room service food quality was not up to par. Food very bland and "generic" tasting and very pricey at that. Other than those two things. My stay was great. I enjoyed the hotel environment. Very cozy/romantic. Also very clean environment.”

• Clean and comfortable pillows and bed.
• Unfriendly staff when we arrived not very helpful with parking.

“Location was close to where we had to go the following am. The hotel presented itself with clean and comfortable atmosphere, was very quiet and private.”
