• It was one of the cleanest that I have been to in a long time, and the guest room staff were very friendly in the halls.
• A concert outside our window until 11pm made it hard to get a 3yr old asleep early.

“The hotel was one of the cleanest that I have been to in a while. The housekeeping staff was very nice. I was disappointed that there was a concert outside our room for 2 nights that lasted until 11pm which made it impossible to get my 3yr old asleep on time by 9pm. And there were only 4 rolling luggage carts which were very inconvenient at check out. When I brought it to the staffs' attention I was told that they only have 4 and I could wait at the front door for one to be available. Please keep in mind that I was traveling alone with a child of 3. Also at check out I was told that there was a movie charged to my credit card. I was the only adult in the room and didn't order a movie, but was told that It was my responsibility to watch the child to make sure that movies were not purchased by accident. The woman that checked me out proceeded into the back room and returned with what looked like a credit card paper, and told me that the movie ran for 45min before it was aborted and that she would keep the charge on the card that was presented at check in. I was not at all happy with paying for a movie that wasn't watched by anyone.”

• There were too many disrespectful guests & attendants allowed it.

“There were nice amenities but hotel personnel did nothing to promote a family atmosphere. I am not sure if it was due to heavy sports team weekend but it was difficult to have use of the amenities or even walk down the hallways without being over run by disrespectful guests esp. my 6 year old son.”

• The pool area and exercise areas were wonderful. The hotel staff was pleasant.
• The building was smoke-free, but the room I stayed in smelled like smoke. The staff was kind enough to move me.

“The hotel staff was very friendly. The lobby, pool and exercise rooms were quite clean, but the room I stayed in looked as if it hadn't been dusted in a few months. The food in the bar and grill was very good and the waitress was quite friendly and informative as she directed me to shopping in the area. I will definitely stay again.”

• The bar was okay.
• It was okay, I wanted something down town and this was almost out of downtown so we had to drive.

“I really wanted something down town in walking distance and we didn't get that. The room was fine but nothing more than a red too in could offer.”

• Very friendly and professional staff.
• I could not get a smoking room and the shuttle did not run on Sunday.

“Lovely hotel However, I wanted to be downtown this hotel is not downtown, the web site said it had a shuttle to get me there and back however the shuttle does not run on Sunday therefore I had to pay for a cab to get me there and back. I spent way more money on the cab then what I saved. I also wanted a smoking room and this is a smoke free hotel. I was not happy.”

“Hotel was very clean and friendly, comfortable bedding. Was disappointed with accessibility for internet access I had some college papers I needed to tend to and had to pay extra to access the internet also no wireless connections available in the room must sit at the desk to access internet or in the lobby for wireless access.”

• The price was right. The hotel was very nice.
• No complaints.

“I love to stay at this Marriott. It is a very nice hotel. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but enjoyed the time we did spend there. It was very quiet and we slept well. The morning paper was nice. It is very conveniently located to the convention center.”

• The front desk staff was very friendly.
• No wireless access and we had to pay 12.00 to access the internet.

“The hotel was clean but the furniture was very beat up and worn in our room. I would stay at this hotel again however, if I was able to get the same rates.”

• We were pleasantly surprised to arrive to an executive suite rather than the standard room.

“Nice lobby, room was very nice, front desk was very helpful. Bath and body works bathroom amenities which was nice. Comfy pillows and down bedding, too. Very comfy beds. Smallish bathroom.”

“The beds were so comfortable-nice pillows and comfy down comforter. The room was just a little dusty. The lamps and tabletops had layer of dust. Great location for us.”

• The beds at this Marriott are heavenly.
• We were unable to get a late check-out. We had no where to go until 3pm. It stunk!

“My husband and I live in two states. We rendezvous in Dayton periodically and always try to stay at the Marriott Dayton. We were unable on this visit to get a later check out. Our time together is precious and that one extra hour would've made such a difference for us. The front desk said they had too many rooms to turn over to allow anyone a late check-out, no exceptions. We had to vacate the room by noon and had no where to go until our departure at 3pm. When we returned to the hotel at 3pm to pick up our other car, the parking lot was empty. There was no rush of new guests to have rooms ready for. I could see no reason why we were not allowed a later departure. I think we will be reconsidering staying there next time.”

• Convenience to university of Dayton.
• The food we had for room service was too salty and I woke up during the night thirsty.

“Overall I was very pleased with my stay at the Marriott. The room was lovely; the beds were very comfortable, proximity to university of Dayton made the extra cost for us worth while.”

• The hotel was clean and extremely comfortable the staff at the restaurant could not have been nicer.

“The front desk clerks were friendly. We asked for connecting rooms and they accommodated us. However, they were right at the elevator. At about 1:30am the elevator jammed with people in it and it took them about 30-40 minutes to get the people out. People were talking extremely loud during this time which was ok because of the circumstance but they continued to hover around the elevator talking very loudly after everyone were out; needless to say we didn't sleep well that night.”

• The staff was very friendly and the facilities were clean and in order.
• The menu was very expensive for a traveler with children, both dinner and breakfast.

“This hotel was quite nice the room was smaller than I had expected but it was clean and in order. The shower pressure and temperature control was terrible they really need to take a look into this problem. The dinner at the Italian restaurant was very expensive and not very tasty. Breakfast buffet was wonderful a little pricy but good service and good food. The service of the hotel staff was wonderful they were all very friendly and quick to respond when we requested a roll away bed for our teenage son.”

“Staff first assigned me a room that had an electronic air cleaner running. To correct for the mistake they upgraded us to the concierge level and that was very nice. The rooms have individual air conditioning units, much like a motel. Even when we turned the unit off, the fan kept coming on every half hour during the night. That was an annoyance.”

• I always know I¿ll have a neat, clean place to stay close to amenities.
• The absence of a free breakfast. It is always a plus for a hotel to give this little extra.

“Marriott is clean, neat and convenient to restaurants and stores. Fairly easy to find from I-75 and staff has been courteous.”

• In the sweltering heat the hotel room was very cool. Room service was very accommodating.
• It was far from the airport. But that is only important if someone feels that they need to be closer.

• This hotel is not easily accessible. It's a bit off the beaten path.

• Close to Univ. Beds were great. No charge for roll away.
• Restaurant was expensive and the other was smoky. We had to go outside the hotel to find somewhere to eat.

• Nikki at check-in, great customer service with room mix up.
• Cannot think of anything, it exceeded my expectations.

“The hotel was completely booked for both nights of our stay. We checked in late and there was a room mix up. The front end staff was always gracious and worked on a solution for me. Because of the slight delay, Nikki offered me complimentary breakfasts for my husband and I. It made all the difference. In all our dealings with the hotel, they made us feel appreciated and were concerned that our stay be enjoyable.”

• I loved the room and bed, best sleep in years actually.
• Kind of dated hotel.

“The staff was great and the hotel was very pleasant. My room was small but well appointed. I was very pleased with the bed. "Even with the stress of the visit, I slept great". The housekeepers were so nice and pleasant. During my stay, my father passed away and the hotel extended my stay without question, the housekeepers heard about it and expressed sympathy and offered to help in anyway possible, that really touched me. The staff was genuine and it showed. When in Dayton I will only stay at the Dayton Marriott Hotel. I heard the hotel is slated for a renovation soon.”
