• The location and cleanliness of the hotel was very good.
• Not having the type room requested available on arrival. Being awakened by the fire alarm going off and no sound system to offer guidance.

“The physical appearance of the hotel was excellent. The fire alarm system going off during the course of the night made for a less than pleasurable experience. Upon checkout, nothing, not even an apology for the fire alarm going off, was offered in the way of compensation for not being able to take full advantage of the stay. I was not looking to stay free, but given the situation, it would have been nice for someone to have even acknowledged that the night was not the most pleasant experience in hotel stays.”

• Easy 24 hour access to business center with no charge for computer and printer use.

“I am now a raving fan of Hyatt Place; they have struck a perfect balance between efficiency and amenities for the business traveler. This hotel anticipated and met all my needs, using technology at key touch points to let guests get what they want with a simple card swipe. I liked in particular how they handled after-hours food requests.”

• I truly can't think of a negative thing to say.

“This is a great hotel for the price. Friendly staff, good breakfast and they even serve Starbuck's coffee. Great work space in the room, free Wi-Fi and did I mention the 42" HD Flat screen? I will definitely return to this property.”

• It was gorgeous.
• Kind of far from interstate and the directions we printed were not accurate.

“Everything of the hotel was gorgeous. Room was beautiful! Everyone was nice to us. Couldn't find the ice machine even though the map on door said it was down the hall. No machine.”

• The decor of the room and the hotel design was very nice. I also like the express check-in.
• No indoor pool.

“Hotel was very nice. I enjoyed that it had a pull out couch along with the double beds. I also like the fact that it had a flat screen TV, which was awesome. I also like the way the room was setup, with the living quarters separate from the sleeping quarters.”

• The overall appearance and customer service exceeded expectations. The room was much nicer than one of the 5 star hotels I stayed in recently.
• The pool could have been a little nicer, and I would have loved a Jacuzzi, but I still loved the hotel, and I would stay there again anytime.

“This was my second time staying at the Hyatt place. Two separate locations, however each time the experience was wonderful! I have recommended the Hyatt palace hotel to everyone that I know.”

• Staff was excellent during check-in, breakfast and handling issues.
• Bathroom tub had too much smudge. My girlfriend was uncomfortable with it.

“Lobby and facilities were very good and clean. The six was given because of the bathroom and elevator. If not for that I would have given it an 8. If rated by star level it would be a 10 in comparison to other places I have stayed. I would have no problem recommending this hotel for family and travel.”

• There isn't any place to get fresh and reasonably priced food later at night.

“The rooms in this hotel are beautiful and very comfortable. You WILL NOT believe these are 2-3 star rooms. They look like five. The entire hotel is very clean. I think they should add either a small store or restaurant. All they have now is a little Starbucks bar which isn't very good for weary travelers. The parking needs work too. We got there at a soccer convention for about 200 rowdy kids. The hotel was good about ensuring the quality of the other guests stay to the best of their abilities, which made me very happy. It's worth it to stay there. Just bring your own food! They have small refrigerators!”

• I liked the room and the staffs were very courteous.
• There was no room service, and round the clock kitchen.

“I did like the room and the amenities provided were good. But the bathtub doesn't drain quickly, and I am not a big fan of standing water while taking showers. I am not sure if it was a problem with my room only. I had a problem while checking in.”

• Presently remodeling lobby. Gave us keycard to occupied room to start with.

“The Staff was friendly. They made a mistake and gave us the keycard to an occupied room to start with (thankfully no one was there, just luggage), but they quickly made it right. Nice free breakfast with plenty of selections. 42"HD TV very nice but very limited channels. Two queen beds and fold out couch was plenty of room for my family. Very pretty decor. I would stay there again anytime. Great Value.”

“For the most part the staff was very friendly and recognized you by name (except one who was downright rude). The facility is under heavy construction, so there are no restaurants. Wireless connection was very poor - frequently slow and/or dropping connection; their is no business center and the main fax machine was broken!”

• Shower water was adequately hot. AC worked okay.
• Bed sucked.

“I called the hotel to find out about bed size and smoking preference. I was informed that the confirmation was confirmed for a king bed and non smoking room. However on day of arrival, found out at check-in that manager had placed us in a handicap room that contained only 1 double bed. Management did not resolve the issue. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.”
