• Amazing value through Priceline.
• HDTV displayed no HDTV channels, even 2 star hotels often do this right.

“I don't think I've ever met a more friendly front desk attendant. She was pleasant, genuine and very welcoming. I only wish I could remember her name so my comments could reach her supervisor. I believe she was originally from the Netherlands.”

“Perhaps the hotel has been upgraded since some of the other reviews were left. My family of 5 spent 4 nights in the Marriott and enjoyed our stay. Our room was great, the service was great, and we constantly felt welcomed and attended to. The Internet is free now, which was also great.”

• Dirty sheets, staff wasn't helpful.

“This hotel is not a bad hotel. It is more like a 2-2.5 star range. I checked in late and no one was at the counter. I had to wait 20 minutes to find someone, who had been hanging out watching TV to check me in. Luckily my hotel room had two beds because the first bed had stains all over the sheets. The other bed was clean, so at least I had that going for me. Not the worse experience ever but not the best either.”

• Good location. Access to hotel bar.
• Its not in the best neighborhood. But there are restaurants close.

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. There was hair all over the bathroom, even though it was supposed to be cleaned. The bathroom was very cramped and uncomfortable to use. There is not free Wi-Fi, which is very inconvenient when you aren't expecting to pay for the Internet.”

“When I arrived, there was no room available. I was given lodging at a Marriott Courtyard but it wasn't nearly as nice. The next night I arrived at the original hotel and was pleasantly surprised to find a cheese and fruit plate in my room. The staff was not particularly friendly nor attentive, a surprise since I was expecting Southern hospitality.”

• Great bed and LCD TV.
• Bar was not open.

“There was a family reunion at this hotel during my stay. They were loud and rude. They were allowed to play music outside near the pool until 11:00 pm. I was on the top floor and could hear the music. Some of the family members even smoked marijuana and did not try to hide it.”

• Ugly and old hotel, not Marriott quality.

“No comparison to the Hyatt and Hilton down the street. This Marriott is about 20 years out of date and way overpriced. My king sized bed and flat screen
TV took up the entire room. You had to scooch by the edges just to get to the bathroom. Visible mold and cracked paint. This was not a great stay.”

  liked the convenience of the hotel the please where it is situated allows us to move to the nearby restaurants even without the need of a car.

  dint like the type of the room there was no exhaust in the bathroom which made it a little dirty.

• It was quiet.
• It was far from everything.

“It served it's purpose. All we need was a room to sleep in for the night before continuing on our trip. The beds were nice and comfortable so we were able to wake up rested and refreshed the next morning and continue our journey.”

• Friendly door man, pretty landscaping.
• Dirty hallway, excessive charge for internet, business center was inoperative.

“Overall this was a decent hotel. I could hardly believe that they charge 15 dollars for wifi internet when most other less expensive hotels and even McDonald's offers this for free. The whirlpool was nice and hot but the jets would not come on. There was white material apparently falling from the ceiling littering the hallway to our room.”

“Everything works fine at the hotel. Non-availability of complimentary high speed internet would be a drawback for several business visitors. A daily charge of $13 for internet access isn't in tune with current business realities.”

• Impeccable service and courtesy. Super clean. Excellent value.

“This was the second best hotel that I have ever stayed in, only Embassay Suites was better. Free continental breakfast would be the only area for improvement. Other than that, a perfect stay.”

• Convenient location, friendly staff, quiet environment. Perfect for a restful weekend.
• The glassware in the hotel room was not clean. Lipstick marks on the rim of one and substance remained in the bottom of another.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel common areas were open and inviting. Location was convenient to access main through fares and there were shopping areas nearby.”

• Mostly, the staff was very friendly, helpful, polite.
• The lounge/bar was open (in the lobby) way too bright.

“The hotel itself was nice, clean, room was nice, very comfortable king size bed with nice linens. Decor of room was good. I thought the restaurant food was good but over-priced. Drinks were definitely high. The wait-staff was very attentive and friendly and the service was excellent. The bar/lounge was not up to par. It is located in the lobby of the hotel and was way too bright (lights). An enclosed bar with a nice ambiance would have been a big improvement.”

“I travel every other week and usually stay 1-3 nights. I prefer to stay at the Hyatt Place because the room is nicer and it includes breakfast and free wireless internet. The Marriott charges extra for everything. Because I dislike the Marriott so much.”

• The indoor pool was excellent.
• Noisy. Was put in a handicapped room with no bath tub and next to Hertz office with noise.

“Must strive to get patrons away from an office that opens early in the morning and lots of office noise. Do not give handicap room unless requested by customer. Bath tub is essential to a woman in a three star hotel.”

• The pillows and bed were so comfortable. There was also a nice desk.
• The carpets and wall color in the hallway was out of date.

“This Marriott was an older building, but the staff and facilities stood up to the great Marriott reputation. My husband and I stayed there during a Christian Conference and we ate breakfast there one morning. Great food at the buffet, plus free coffee and citrus water in the lobby. We were very pleased, but wish the carpets were more of a neutral tone in the hallway. Checkout was a breeze.”

“Outside door of room did not lock, screen kept falling off, couldn't use pool until 10:00 at night due to very loud pool party. Then the power went out. Pool party attendees then moved to lobby. We were on the first floor. Very loud.”
