• Mostly, the staff was very friendly, helpful, polite.
• The lounge/bar was open (in the lobby) way too bright.

“The hotel itself was nice, clean, room was nice, very comfortable king size bed with nice linens. Decor of room was good. I thought the restaurant food was good but over-priced. Drinks were definitely high. The wait-staff was very attentive and friendly and the service was excellent. The bar/lounge was not up to par. It is located in the lobby of the hotel and was way too bright (lights). An enclosed bar with a nice ambiance would have been a big improvement.”

“I travel every other week and usually stay 1-3 nights. I prefer to stay at the Hyatt Place because the room is nicer and it includes breakfast and free wireless internet. The Marriott charges extra for everything. Because I dislike the Marriott so much.”

• The indoor pool was excellent.
• Noisy. Was put in a handicapped room with no bath tub and next to Hertz office with noise.

“Must strive to get patrons away from an office that opens early in the morning and lots of office noise. Do not give handicap room unless requested by customer. Bath tub is essential to a woman in a three star hotel.”

“Overall, I was satisfied but the hotel that I stayed last winter in Norcross (Hilton hotel) was better. Pool was good, room was clean. However, the room was a bit small for my family.”

“The staff was outstanding. The hotel nice and clean and I really enjoyed my stay. I just wish they had some kind of free or reduced breakfast. It can get pretty costly when you are traveling with family as I plan on doing next month. Other then that, everything was fine.”

• The pillows and bed were so comfortable. There was also a nice desk.
• The carpets and wall color in the hallway was out of date.

“This Marriott was an older building, but the staff and facilities stood up to the great Marriott reputation. My husband and I stayed there during a Christian Conference and we ate breakfast there one morning. Great food at the buffet, plus free coffee and citrus water in the lobby. We were very pleased, but wish the carpets were more of a neutral tone in the hallway. Checkout was a breeze.”

“Outside door of room did not lock, screen kept falling off, couldn't use pool until 10:00 at night due to very loud pool party. Then the power went out. Pool party attendees then moved to lobby. We were on the first floor. Very loud.”

“The hotel was great for the price. It is conveniently located in the midst of multiple dining places, supermarkets, shopping centers and gas stations. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. The business center is free of service and open 24 hours. I found the room very comfortable and clean. Overall, it was a very good experience. I would certainly stay here again when visiting this city.”

• Cheap.
• My 2yr old son found an empty bottle of whiskey and a shoe under the bed. The room appeared clean until then.

“Overall the hotel was what was expected. it appeared clean, the staff was courteous, and it seemed somewhat upscale. The hotel was geared for the business traveler. However fell short by not offering wireless internet throughout the hotel. It was limited to the lobby and business center. Just before leaving my 2yr old son pulled a 750 ml bottle of whiskey and an old shoe from under the bed. That was a little scary since there was still some whiskey left in the bottle and he could have easily drank it. I didn't complain to the management since it was our last day there. However I would think that an upscale 3 star hotel would clean their rooms a little better then that. I'd probably stay there again as long as the price was right.”

“The hotel was clean, quiet, pleasant and the staff friendly. No negatives. I consider it a nice place to stay for the price. I would not describe it as an upscale hotel, but it was certainly fine for my purposes. I would stay there again.”

• The beds are very comfy and the room is well lit.
• One room was dirty and we had to switch. Dirty dishes in the hall well into the night from past guests.

“The hotel was a disappointment from other Marriott hotels that we have stayed at in the past. We had 5 rooms and one room was very dirty and we had to switch rooms. The staff was eager to please us after this mishap. There were dirty dishes in the hall from the guests that had checked out of our rooms and after 3 phone calls, they moved the dirty dishes to a pile down the hall. They did not feel the need to get them out of site. That was just common sense to clean up the hallway. The bathrooms were small but well equipped with shampoo etc. I would stay here again for the price but it was not the best Marriott in the Atlanta area by far.”

• It was 14.95 extra for hi speed internet. Even the cheap Days Inn now gives free in room hi speed internet.

• No Disney Channel, No Nickelodeon Channel for those rainy days.

“I will definitely return to this hotel while in Atlanta. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate. They had a good chef who made a mean omelet while I watched. I just wish them more family friendly channels that our grandson could watch during the time we were confined to our room.”

• $13 a day Internet service, no microwaves for residents use, no complimentary breakfast.

“My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel despite any concerns we had. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel Internet has a daily fee of $13, which our family decided not to use because of that fact. Also, there are no microwaves for resident use but the guy at the desk was more than happy to microwave my children popcorn, so we had no complaints about that. We are a family of five who have stayed in other 3 star hotels before that have offered complimentary breakfast, but this one doesnt. We ate breakfast at the nearby McDonalds which was no problem. My kids enjoy the indoor pool more than anything. Overall we had a great stay and would love to stay there again.”

• Ants in the room and the Maid came too early.

“This hotel has a wonderful indoor pool. The room had wonderful beds with great bedding. We had a problem with sugar ants eating our cupcakes while we were in the pool. Also, on our check out day the maid came into our room and rushed us out before 10:00 am.”

“Non-smokers of the world, here is your hotel. Excellent hotel except I am a smoker. If you already have your own wife access through a wireless card, you are good to go. Otherwise, expect a rather hefty charge for something you could have gotten free from the hotel. One thing I really appreciated was not being disturbed by annoying maids at the crack of dawn.”

• The room was small.

“If you are a business traveler or you are on some event with family this is a nice place to stay. It is not near the main city and you are only in the technology area of Norcross so there are no events to go to very easily. However this is a nice stay. Even if you just want to get away for a night and you live in area it is a good place. Very nice room services.”
