• Hotel was very clean and comfortable.

“We enjoyed our one night stay. The only problem was noise from the upper rooms at about 1-2 am. Called the front desk problem was solved. Overall good quality hotel.”

“Very nice hotel. Small suite was very comfortable and clean. Had very nice amenities. Though the hotel is a bit older, it is still very clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable and linens were very nice. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.”

• Nice size rooms. Comfortable bed.
• Rooms were in the middle of renovation, hot tub was not working.

“Large rooms in good location. Seating in the hotel room was exceptionally uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable. Televisions were too small, and the stations did not match the station guide.”

• The setup which was suite style, bed & living separate.
• Only one trash can, none in bathroom area.

“Very convenient, staff was friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable, big towels, attractive lobby. Only stayed overnight but was very enjoyable and located well. Would stay here again if in the area.”

• I did not get the room I specified for the first night.

“I phoned ahead and was assured that we would have a room with two beds. When we arrived, there were no two-bed rooms available for the first night of our stay and I ended up sleeping on a pull-out sofa. We were moved to a two-bed room for the second night.”

• The room was great except for the coffee maker.
• The coffee maker was filthy and disgusted me.

“I liked everything about the hotel until I realized the water well of the coffee maker had stagnant, algae-laden water/brown liquid in it. It was so disgusting I left the hotel immediately and went to another restaurant to have breakfast, and had to forego my coffee that morning. It was gross! Housekeeping came and took the coffee maker away.”

• Very comfortable beds with lots of pillows & nice sitting area.
• Socks were very dirty after walking around the room without shoes on.

“We really enjoyed our stay there. It had everything we needed, a small fridge, a microwave, hair dryer, iron, 2 TV's. It was great having a separate sitting area from the bedroom area. I'd recommend it to anyone - unless they don't like dogs. There were dogs in the room across from us that barked frequently, when they were there alone, but it didn't bother us.”

• The bathroom was filthy and the bedding old.

“The hotel was under construction not a great thing. The restaurant was overpriced but it was located near a lot of other restaurants. The bathroom was filthy and the bedding had stains on the comforter. The smoking floor smelled like an ashtray. I have stayed on smoking floors before and you wouldn't know it.”

• I liked the set up of the suite (as opposed to a standard hotel room).
• The lounge area was not welcoming.

“Doubletree guest suites exceeded our expectations. We were attending a University of Dayton function and found the accommodations to be economical, convenient and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.”

• I broke a glass & left a note to run vacuum in area w/small fragments of broken glass - request ignored.

“Very nice amenities and the lobby area tastefully done & spacious. Fish tank very beautiful. Jets on the hot tub could be upgraded - not powerful enough!”

• The rooms were very spacious and arranged very nicely.
• We had a problem in the night and the staff was not very helpful in getting it resolved.

• The spacious rooms and comfortable beds are lovely.
• Very loud, people screaming and running down halls until midnight. Management finally quieted them down but not until after midnight.

“Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Rooms were spacious and clean, and beds were lovely. Fridge/microwave is also very nice if you are traveling with food.”

• We did not get our complimentary cookies, because they ran out. No continental breakfast.

• Nice room for the money.
• Net work did not work the whole time. I asked for a new cord and got nothing. Bed was made with the warming comforter under the top sheet. Plus.

“Situated in Miamisburg, just off Interstate 75, this hotel offers an excellent location for travelers visiting Dayton or Cincinnati. It provides reasonable accommodations, convenient facilities and a generally acceptable lodging for both short-term and long-term stays.”

• Very quiet. Two room suite was ideal for me and my friend who were traveling together.
• Housekeeping staff was not very friendly.

“The lobby was very open and inviting, and the front desk staff was great. Very nice bar/restaurant area. The indoor whirlpool was a great amenity after a 6 hour drive. The room was extremely nice and the beds very comfortable. The way the room is set up offered a buffer between the bed area and the hall noise. The only thing that would make it better, would be a door between the sleeping area and the living room area (in the basic suite). If one person wants to stay up later than the other, the noise and light goes straight into the sleeping area. Overall, this was a beautiful hotel and great place to stay.”

• Great shopping, restaurants very close but can't walk.

“Hotel was very nice. Large room and comfortable bed. Definitely hope to be able to stay here soon. Only downside is that there are tons of great shopping, restaurants around but not within walking distance. The street is lined with hotels and is off the main highway.”

• Well appointed, quiet, great staff.
• It didn't have a breakfast bar as part of the package.

“Hotels of lesser quality offer a free breakfast as part of the stay, this one did not. The room was well appointed, the staff was helpful, although we accidentally left a piece of clothing in the closet and it disappeared by the time we called back to retrieve it? Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone.”

• No continental breakfast, they do have a pay buffet, I was not aware of this until I arrived.

• What can I say about the beds........Wonderful!!!
• The shower/tub has no grips on bottom of the tub or hand bars to reach....I almost fell !!

“The hotel was wonderful except for the shower/tub. There was nothing on the walls to grab, as I started to slip getting into the shower. No grips on the floor of the tub. Believe me, it was almost a very bad fall!!! you all are waiting for an accident to happen!!! My mother (who is blind), was afraid to get in and fall. Everything was great, except for that.”

• The king size room is actually a mini-suite, very comfortable.
• You need a better desk chair.
