• Location.
• Front desk competency.

“I am a frequent guest of this property and am many times disappointed at the management when it comes to simple request such as extending my stay. My business guests have requested using the Marriott property for management related mistakes at the Hilton.”

• Very good location. Close too shopping malls and restaurants.
• Room assigned for wheelchair customer had view of a roof top to some industrial park business.

“Clean hotel, nice common ares, lobby etc. Had some problems with housekeeping in that they kept forgetting to leave bath soaps daily along, with the right number of wash clothes.”

• Being a diamond member I get treated well at Hiltons.
• I didn't get as nice a room.

“The hotel is nice and they have a great executive lounge for Hilton Honors members. The food was great at the restaurant but a bit pricey. The location is very busy and I did not like that very much. It was fine for a business overnight travel.”

• Nice amenities and Starbucks coffee.
• Windows do not open.

“We enjoyed this hotel and the amenities were great for the price. My husband and I went for a getaway but it would have been a great hotel with kids as well as the pool was nice and there was a nice snack selection in the gift shop. Employees were friendly and helpful.”

• Mark made my stay great. Excellent front desk.
• Dining was tedious, slow and the room was depressing.

“The bar has hours, opens at 4 PM. Front desk staff was excellent. Room was nice, not great. Bathroom needed attention from maintenance. Carpets were damaged, worn and spotted with bleached out areas. One of three elevators was out the entire time I was there.”

• The hotel staff was amazing! So Friendly! They all greeted me and looked up directions to local attractions and even printed them out for me!
• I can't say there was anything to dislike. It was really the perfect stay.

“The hotel staff at the Hilton Atlanta Northwest were the friendliest I have ever been in contact with. They were so friendly and helpful. Everyone that worked in the hotel was fabulous, even the cleaning ladies were sweet and funny. When I go back to Atlanta, no matter what part, I will definitely be staying there, even if I have to drive a bit to get from place to place. This was my best stay ever!”

• The manager was fantastic.
• Smokey rooms, very dark hallways, and did not feel safe.

“The manager on duty was fantastic. She made sure I was safe and that my room was non-smoking. I was very creped out because of a suspicious looking man on the elevator.”

• The hotel was appealing from the lobby as well as the room.
• There was a leak somewhere and the carpet was wet around the coffee-dressing area.

“Overall the hotel was nice, although the only vending machines were on the third floor. They did not have any coffee or doughnuts in the morning so I left empty.”

“The Hilton in Norcross was a very nice property. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. I even got upgraded to a Junior Suite. The rooms were clean and spacious. .”

• The indoor pool.
• The constantly barking dog in the room next door.

“The hotel was nice, but they need a no pets policy. We were awakened early in the morning by a barking dog in the room next door, and it barked incessantly all morning. It was miserable.”

• The cleanness of the rooms and the furniture.
• Some clerks may not be customer oriented.

“The location and comfortless of this hotel was very good. We went to North Carolina first (stayed in Comfort Suites) and then went through Atlanta. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my pocket with me when I was on the way to the vacation. But we didn't have any trouble checking in at NC with my wife's ID and credit card. So I called this hotel (Hilton) one day before check-in. The clerk answered phone was not so friendly and insisted that I must show MY ID when check in. I asked if my wife's ID would work and got the answer "No".”

• Large hotel with good look and good fitness room.
• Room was not clean, jammed drainage, missing supplies such as water, soap.

“Problem drainage in bath tub, carpet not well cleaned, bed spread seemed not replaced with clean one. Good location, attractive looks of public spaces and facilities, good price.”

• Some prankster knocking my door and calling the room phone at night.

“When I had the no disturb sign on the door someone banged the door twice and ran away. Also someone called my room twice when I was asleep. Called the lobby to check whether they had called and they replied no. Decent hotel and the location looked decent too. Stayed at the hotel for a single night so wont be the right person to give a detailed review.”

“A multi story hotel on the north east edge of Atlanta conveniently located on a major artery. Clean, well kept, and modern. Quiet. Parking lot is dimly lit at night, but no security problems.”

• The beds are rather nice.
• It needed some minor painting or updating for the luxury status of the outside and lobby to match room upkeep. Old paint and a/c guards.

• Had amenities in room hair dryer, coffee maker, internet, iron & ironing board, cable, movies on demand.
• Lots of dust bunnies under beds.

“This hotel is classy and comfy. You sink right in the bed and will find some amenities in the rooms. They have both indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness room. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. They were knowledgeable about the area as well.”

• Did not meet my expectations to cleanliness.

“The motel is located close to restaurants, shopping, and allows easy access to most areas of Ft. Wayne. It was quiet but did not meet my expectations as to cleanliness and furnishings. The furniture, mattress and bed clothes were very dated and the housekeeping needs to be scrutinized more by the supervisors. More attention to cleaning in corners and along the walls would be appreciated as well as spraying a nice room freshener.”

• I really liked the room. My husband and I have stayed at this location twice for hour anniversary. It is really convenient to shopping.
• We were really frustrated with the front office staff on duty the day we arrived as she was not able to provide appropriate directions.

• Outside appearance only.
• Did not like to see mold growing in the grout lines in the shower and the room was fairly small for a hotel of its rating.

“It was a fairly cold environment with not much appeal in deco. It had been remodeled but some of the old amenities were poorly done. Such as tile surrounds were not replaced. Also there was wall paper falling off of the wall in corners. The TVs were outdated.”

• There air vents were very dirty in the bathrooms.

• The hotel staff was polite and helpful.
• Dirty bathroom (disgusting) peeling wallpaper, $1 local phone calls.

“The first impression of this hotel is great. Once in the room though the bathroom was disgusting. There were pubic and regular hairs in the tub as well as so much dirt on the shower wall it could be scraped off with your finger nail. The wallpaper was peeling in the room. Definitely not what I expected or paid for.”

• I was assigned a smoking room!

“Since the hotel was booked full, I was assigned a smoking room. My rating would have been higher otherwise. The room was clean and spacious, but you just can't overcome that smell.”

“Hotel is in a great location. When we got there the desk help was less than helpful. Since we got our rooms at a "discounted" rate they wouldnt give us non smoking rooms even though they were available. So we had to smell like smoke and my wifes asthma flared up.”

• Nothing the worst experience I ever had.
• The tub was peeling, the hallway was noisy, and you could hear the people in the next room. We just wanted to relax and talk.

“The staff at check in was really nice and efficient. Check out however was totally different. Maybe it was due to a shift change. I expected more from a Hilton hotel. I would give this one no more than 2 stars.”
