“Our AC would not cool, the carpet was torn, the beds were miserably lumpy, a lamp did not work, and there was no ice in the ice machine. It was clean, but that's it.”

“I would not want to stay at this hotel again. This has been my experience with most Holiday Inn hotels. My stay had the potential to be salvaged with some politeness and cooperation with the staff, but they treated me like dirt and an inconvenience.”

  • Rooms are small and smells bad, old odor, hallway was not clean, elevator was not clean.

“I had guest over and they could not sit on of the room because of bad smell. It was embarrassing, and I felt bad. Even my 3 year old son didn't want to sleep in the room. Usually, he is very excited to stay in the hotel. I told the reception they said it could be some stayed there night before with smell. This hotel was worst I have seen around.”

“I can't believe the Holiday Inn corporation would build such a bad room with all the crazy curves etc. The Feng Shui in my room was way off and my business presentation suffered because of it. My experience was not good at all.”

  • Run down hotel/old carpet/dirty towels/flies in bar around food.

“Hotel staff could care less about ant trails crawling all over car/plugs in room are so old plugs fall out/small black curly hairs on towels/upon checkout the black man behind desk decided talking on phone to his buddy about how much he drank the night before was more important than checking guest out. Horrible experience. I will never choose this 'region' again so I don't get this hotel.”

  • Mold in bathroom, doors had about 10 inches of varnish missing off bottom, things were older.

“The shampoo etc was not as nice as I expect for a 3 star either. The Marriott 3 star was a true 3 star and very nice and clean.”

“It was probably the nicest Holiday Inn you'll ever get to stay at. The pillows, bedding, and comforter are so comfortable unlike the cheap materials you get in other inn or motel. It felt clean and fresh just like you are at home.”

  • Nice sized rooms.
  • Walls are paper thin. People check in late - 2 am - I had to listen to them all slam their doors. Could hear people in adjacent rooms on cell phones.

“It was conveniently located in the city. Staff was average, it was 3 star but in my opinion, it was probably 2 stars. It needs a lot of improvements in the rooms, Air Conditioner was not working properly, one of the lights was not working, lights plugs were by the bed side (bad location for the lights outlets), all electric sockets/power supply were loose, door lock was moving, refrigerator was not properly working. Can't think of anything else.”

“The first room's deadbolt lock could not be used because it was broken. The second room's a/c heater unit was so loud and squeaky and didn't stop for the entire night. The third room was better, but we were unable to get Disney channel on the TV (traveling with 7 years old. The indoor pool was closed due broken heater.”

“My brother in-law also stayed there so we saw his room. We were asked to find another hotel since when we got there the water heater was broken. We had to walk into a Wyndham and pay twenty dollars more for the night.”

  • The staff was exceptional! They were helpful, professional, and very friendly!
  • Furniture needs to be upgraded and the food was all that great.

“The rooms are outdated and are in serious need of an upgrade. The furniture should have been more modern and the carpets should have been better for the price that they advertise for. The staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and I knew just about everyone by name before I left. I was displaced from my home and they made me feel right at home.”

  • Not a 3 star hotel! Well past its prime, this hotel was a major disappointment.

“This hotel is obviously well past its prime. The staff was friendly, on the whole; however, the rooms were not very clean, the pool was disgusting, the "restaurant" made fast food look good, and I was placed in a king after confirming a double over the phone. I would never stay there again, and I would never recommend it to anyone else. To put it another way, I once stayed at a La Quinta (for less money), and had a nicer stay.”

“This establishment had friendly staff, but poor room quality. The decor was quite old, there was a hole in the wall, the border was peeling off in the main corridor, the paneling on our bathroom door was peeling, and there was no fan. It is generous, at best, to call it 2 stars.”

“I was anxious about this place after reading some of the negative reviews on here. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Front desk staff was friendly and personable. Housekeeping was excellent; room was very clean and comfortable. If holiday inn would throw a few bucks at this location, it would make a great hotel. The furnishings and carpeting in the room and hallways are a bid dated. With some updating, this would be a true 3 star hotel.”

  • The rooms were spacious and the pool and hot tub were really nice!
  • The carpet in the lobby and hallways were worn. They should be replaced soon.

“The wife and I spent our anniversary at this hotel. It was quiet and cozy. The pool and hot tub were nice. The front desk folks and room attendants were really good and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The only bad thing about the hotel is that the public areas (lobby, hallways, and elevators) are a little rundown and need to be renovated soon.”

  • No "free" breakfast - not even continental.

“Appearances were great - pretty, clean, friendly staff. Unfortunately, we had "ants" in our room; although the staff immediately cleaned room and stripped beds when notified. I feel like they need to at least add a continental breakfast to their service. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly. Front desk staff very polite and responsive to needs.”

“Great location, great beds. I am not sure how the stars are given out but someone was not paying attention when they gave this location three stars. If this is a three star hotel, I will not take a chance on Naming my own price in that area of Atlanta for fear of getting a room at that location. I was informed by the staff that no changes would be made to my request. Had my children been with me we would have had 1 bed for 4 people. If it had been a smoking room the money would have been wasted because I would not have been able to stay their.”

“Very disappointed, lot of red ants that went in our luggage, on the bed, on & in the phone, coffeemaker does not brew the coffee unless you hold the pot 2" inch high, no complimentary creamer sugar if you ask at the front desk, so it is totally unclean room with no courtesy. Where is the southern hospitality stand?”

“This hotel is old and closed up. It smelled like mold and mildew. It gave me a sinus infection. It really messed with my head. My eyes watered and I kept a headache the entire time. I was very happy to leave once I found out that the hotel was the problem.”
