• Not being able to check in until 1 hour after arriving.

“Worst experience ever. Needed a late check-in and it took 1 hour to able to check-in, the calling service could not reach attendant. After getting checked in I went to my room dropped off bags, went to car to get laptop, get to my room and my card wouldn't open my door. It took another hour and countless phone calls to reach attendant again. All in all I arrived a hotel at 1:15am and was finally able to relax at 3:30am. Due to this my meeting had to be canceled and lost a days pay.”

• No thing the service was not good. if you need new linens or towel, you must bring them to the office from your room even if housekeeping is still on.

• For the most part, the staff was very friendly and displayed good customer service skills.

“I was thoroughly disappointed in the lack of overall cleanliness! My room was absolutely filthy!! There was feces and hair on and around the toilet. Hair and dirt on the floor & carpet! My bed spread smelled. I actually had to go out and BUY cleaning/disinfectant products to clean the room myself (upon my arrival!!) because I was told that I couldn't borrow supplies from the hotel and cleaning staff was not available. Not that it mattered- because I found that the cleanliness of the room was still severely substandard even during weekly scheduled cleanings!!!!!!”

• The front desk lady was nice.
• The room was nasty, it smelled like urine and the sheets were nasty and the toilet had urine in it when I first walked in.

“The staff was nice but it was the nastiest room that I had ever seen. I was surprised that is was so gross. The bed post smelled like someone peed on it and behind the bed. The sheets were nasty and had globs of hair in it. The toilet was used and not flushed and I discovered it as soon as I walked in. The window was wide open and looked as though someone was already staying there. I just expected more from this hotel considering the chain that it is with.”

• Requested non - smoking room - not available and sent to other hotel.

“Staff was friendly in assisting me in moving to a hotel that had a non -smoking room. The move to another hotel was inconvenient for me. The sister hotel didn't offer the same accommodations.”

“On the first night I had to wait outside due to late check in for over 20 minutes by the front door, then I asked for double bed they told me they don't have any and even if they do it will cost me more. I asked for towel due to they only change out once a week and they told me that they will come by and swap out towels which they never did. I asked for internet access and they told me their network is having some problems and couldn't help me at all. ”

• The bathtub had no shower curtain.

“I have stayed at many 3 star hotels and this one was easily the worst. My bathtub had no shower curtain, and the shower and tub were not as clean as they usually are. The rest of the room was fine, but there was some noise from nearby rooms and the walkway outside. When I came by in the morning to return my keys, the door to the front desk and office was locked.”

“Very excellent hotel for 2 star or even higher rating. Had everything you need. Fridge, kitchen facilities, clean, fresh smell, pool, internet (wireless), internet (data port), etc. The layout of the room was very nice. Comparing this hotel and all of the last 10 hotels I have stayed at, this one was clearly superior in every single aspect except location and desk. ”

• I loved the fact that both suites came with a complete kitchen
• I didn't like the fact that I was limited to a Queensize bed in both rooms, after I had requested two fullsized beds in each room

“I enjoyed my stay at the Homestead Suites, all the staff was friendly, the suites were clean, and completely furnished, from pots, and pans down to the silverware. Fresh towels on demand, and the maid service was great!”

• Nothing comes to mind. have always like homestead and their affiliates

“Clean, friendly and helpful. All I needed in a suite was provided. I try and stay at Homesteads or one of their other affiliated hotel. I am now at a Studio plus and both are reasonably priced and provide what a extended stay should. They get the gold star from me.”

“This hotel was very attractive from the outside. Its appearance was clean and inviting.
The room was a nightmare!!!
Dirty floors, shower curtain or cloth was dirty, no garbage cans, no complimentary coffee or plastic cups, no complimentary soaps or shampoos, no swimming pool and worst of all, my bed sheets had stains on them!!!
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!”

• It was a place to sleep
• It was late when we arrived, I had to wait outside of the locked office and use phone, kept getting a machine, handicap shower, food left in fridge

“I would stay at this hotel again, ONLY if I had to. Didn't like the fact that just because we arrived late, the office was locked and I had to stand outside in the dark and attempt to use a phone that when I picked it up I got a automated answering service. My husband is handicapped and had to wait in the vehicle with our son. The handicap shower had no rise on the bottom of the shower so the entire restroom floor got soaked when anyone took a shower. And there was a partially eaten frozen dinner left in my dad's room in the refrigerator.”

• The front desk was so friendly and helpful, SHOWTIME TOO is also a big plus.
• They charge for internet, I have a aircard, for that reason. There was a hole in my bedspread.

“The hotel was 8 miles from my meetings at the Marriott, on Pleasant Hill, but I stayed three nights for less than the price of one there. The room was pretty clean, but there was a quarter size hole in my bedspread. I could hear the guy upstairs every night, sound proofing isn't that good. The room was a little smaller than most of the Homestead Suites that I have stayed at. THE GARBAGE was right outside of my rooms front door. When the garbage was taken out of the cans, yuck was left on the sidewalk. GROSS! Thanks, I would like to say with Homestead Suites more often, but they seem to think, in most locations that they need at least $40 per night. I paid way less.”

• It was next door to the Best western. That's where I stayed after I saw the room and talked to their staff.
• The clerk was rude, the room obviously had not been cleaned the room was not what was advertised.

“This hotel isn't fit to be called a kennel. I could not spend the night there and strongly advise you to drop them ASAP.”

• Xlnt staff, offers WIRELESS INTERNET service
• nothing wrong there!!!

“Xlnt staff, easy checkin, great parking, offers wireless internet access, which is VERY important lately!!! This should be included in the search options, and forget your NON smoking preferences- I don't smoke, but a "smoked room" is of NO concern to almost anybody- I want a good room, and wifi, and of course that great price (which is tough when your fee is for each room, and not each reservation, like the old days...)”

• The front desk staff is happy to accomodate late check out if need be.
• The walls of the bathroom had dirt encrusted on the sides by the tub.

“All in all the homestead suites is a nice place to spend a night if you are just passing through town. But with the non-existant upkeep of the bathroom and with the lack of a coffeemaker in my room (even though coffee packets were available in the room??!??), it would not be a place I would want to stay for an extended period of time ever again.”
