• Great decor.
• The sheet on the bed was stained and had to call front desk for manager to look at and bring us a new one.

• Loved the suite, very nice!

“The hotel was very comfortable with upscale decor. The room was large with a flat screen TV, sitting area and mini-bar area and king size bed. Complimentary breakfast was offered with made to order items, such as a coffee and pastry bar and hot short order items. The manager was very visible and helpful, as well as the other hotel staff. It was an extremely pleasurable stay and we will happily return!”

• The room was just great. Everything was clean, new, and spacious. 42" LCD panel TV! Will be back for sure.
• Could use an Ice machine on 1st floor. No biggie.

“This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Big statement, but true. The room has a suite style layout to it. Very clean, and everything seemed to be fairly new. Large couch on one side of "suite" divided by a wall, then the comfortable king size bed. The large 42" LCD Flat Panel TV is viewable from both locations. The "suite" setup was what stood out the most.”

• Spacious rooms, Free Internet, Location, room design.
• Asked for non-smoking, previous occupants smoked, hotel knew about it, put us there anyway.

“This was a nice hotel for the value. The Manager on duty admitted that our room had smoking problems from the previous occupants. We had a non smoking request of the room. He seemed very non interested and was like yeah we knew we had a problem with the room and that was that.”

• The decor was very modern and the rooms were comfortable. The staff was professional - in dress and attitude.
• The bathroom area was nice, but a little tight

“Very nice hotel- with a wonderful and very helpful staff! The rooms are comfortable and very modern in their decor. The room was more like a suite...with the feel of a little apartment, instead of a traditional hotel room. The beds are plush and very comfortable. Loved the large flat-screen TV and the variety of plug-ins to hook up DVD/VCR's and computer equipment to the screen... nice for entertainment/and would be useful for small business presentations.”

• The price!
• The bathroom was small, similar to an RV's in size.

“The location and public areas of this hotel are great. The bed is comfortable and always clean. The only downside my stay was the staff's unwillingness to help at all. I stayed for three nights, and every night I was forced to go downstairs to speak with someone, because no one manned the phones. Housekeeping was another disappointment, they never vacuumed the room, didn't replace towels on the floor, didn't empty trash cans. They did however make the bed with the same sheets, every night. I requested new items every night, but I guess that fell on deaf ears.”

“I love this hotel! We had such a great experience the last visit we made a point to come back to this hotel when returning to the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms are HUGE and gorgeous. We would DEFINITELY stay there again.”

• The room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The bedding was very comfortable.
• The pool was full of leaves and the pool skimmer was overflowing with debris.

“The hotel was decorated well and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bedding was was very comfortable. I will stay in a Hyatt Place hotel again. There was only one negative side of our stay. We had to tell the staff that the pool skimmer was overflowing with leaves which were floating on the surface of the water. The pool floor also needed to be vacuumed. A member of the housekeeping staff had to come outside to fix it. We were told that the pool caretaker does not work on the weekend. Overall, our stay was pleasant and I will recommend this hotel chain to friends and family.”

• The room decor was very cool, it felt upscale! The 42" flat screen was awesome! The location was perfect!
• The bathtub had stuff on the bottom of it, and mold on the top. The coffeemaker was nasty. No microwave or safe!

However, the bathtub had stuff on the bottom of it, and a little bit of mold on the top, it definitely could use a good scrubbing. The coffee maker brewed granular bits in the water, and as many times as I ran water through it, I couldn't brew a hot cup of water for tea with out pieces of something coming through. No microwave or safe! There should
always
be a safe offered in the room for valuables! The sheets were kind of scratchy but overall the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, but I would make sure I got a clean bathroom!”

• My stay at the Hyatt Place on Windward Parkway, Alpharetta was a perfect 10!
• Slow elevator. Really this is the only thing I can complain about. Other than that I need to learn patience.

• Very convenient to my work facility.
• Rooms at this property facing GA 400 are frequently noisy to very noisy.

“This hotel property recently was renovated and upgraded to Hyatt Place. The intent was to make the property more "trendy" but the most visible results in the lobby seem to have made it more crowded and "busy" instead. The rooms have been improved somewhat but little was changed but carpet and furnishings.”

• We loved the giant TV and the ability to bring a DVD player/game system.
• Coffee and Tea were not complimentary all day, there was a fridge, but no microwave to heat things up.

“Huge rooms with comfortable furniture, big screen TV, great amenities. The decor in the lobby was very pleasing. Friendly staff. Would love to stay there again. The only downfall in traveling with children (ages 6 & 7) was that there was no Disney Channel and the breakfast food choices didn't appeal to my kids much. Other than that, we loved it!”

• Better selection of food and room service upgrade.

“The Hyatt Place is an alternative to the full service version or Hyatt Regencies of the world and as such, it delivered on a lesser level. I would rate them ahead of Courtyard by Marriott, for example. The food choices and procedures need to be better explained at check-in and perhaps an upgrade of choices would be considered as well, but all in all, a good to excellent hotel.”

• It was close to the job site and it was extremely nice. I felt comfortable and safe during my stay there.
• The vacuuming at 11pm.

• It is a nice hotel, very up to date and modern.
• $ 500 cash was stolen out of my luggage.

“It was a nightmare. I made the mistake of leaving cash in my luggage, was only gone for about an hour or so, came back and it was all gone. The procedure they do to try and find out what happened is crazy. No one will ever turn the money back in. The maid who took them money, immediately left and went home after she cleaned my room, which is odd, they didn't think so, and she claimed she was sick. Another person was in the room with her, who I think helped as well. They have never even called me back and I am a Hyatt gold passport member. They need a new process to try and get employees to come forward, try the return and nothing is said approach before you put them in a room with a light over them. And the hotel manager had the nerve to tell me what a great person she was and she would never do something like this.”

• The morning breakfast did not have enough clean dishes and had to wait a long time to get utensils.

• Perfect location near malls and gad 400 freeways.
• Pillows too soft, small closet space.

“First walk in all the Hyatt staff members say hello to you which gives you a sense that you are welcomed there. 7 days a week they serve free buffet breakfast which could save family money while on vacation. Free internet usage. This is very good for people who want to check their e mail or they do not have a lap top computer.”

“This was one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed at in a while. I felt totally at home in this space. The modern touches made this an unbelievable room for the price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling. I continue to use the property for all my travels in the future.”

• The service of the staff exceeded my expectations!
• The pool closed too early.

“Overall I give an A+, The room was well decorated and the service of staff was excellent. For example, I came in one night and had a midnight snack that needed heating up(I had forgot that the room did not have a microwave). The young lady at the desk kindly took my food and went into the kitchen and heated it up for me, putting it on a plate.”

• Directions to pool area not present.

“While the hotel was a solid half hour away from downtown, the amenities more than made up for the proximity. Newly renovated, it was an amazingly modern property. Plasma TVs in the lobby and rooms, nearly everything automated, it was a very comfortable place to stay.”

• The toilet and refrigerator made strange noises that woke me up at night.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. As soon as you walk in, the first thing you notice is the striking decor. The suites were just as striking. The beds were comfortable, and the plasma television was an unexpected pleasure. Overall, this hotel was enjoyable. I would definitely stay at this hotel brand again.”
