• Nice lobby. Offered an extra night stay for problems we had.

“Hotel violated privacy calling other guests that they assumed were related to us though we did not book together. 8 am morning after Thanksgiving knocking on door to clean room - ridiculous. Check out at noon. At 11:45 demanded to know why we hadn't left yet.”

• Spacious, clean room and great breakfast variety.

“This property is a comfortable retreat after spending the day at King's Island. The spacious room is perfect for an extended stay and includes a comfortable king size bed, clean bathroom with a large outside vanity area, and a separate living area with a sofa bed, desk, and wet bar that includes a fridge and microwave. There is an expanded continental breakfast which has plenty of variety. The indoor pool and hot tub also provide a welcome way to help unwind.”

• The luxury bedding was fabulous!
• The mini-fridge had no temperature adjustment.

“Our suite had two queen beds with luxurious mattresses and pillows, and a separate sitting area with fold-out sofa and armchair. There were TVs in both the sleeping and sitting areas. There was also a mini-fridge, microwave with plastic utensils and Chinet paper plates, & a kitchen-type sink. The bathroom was spacious. The free breakfast included fresh baked waffles, as well as sausage and scrambled egg patties.”

• Breakfast buffet, indoor pool & hot tub, suite was a nice plus.
• Really nothing, the hotel, staff, location, and amenities were well above average.

“This suite hotel is located in the suburbs of Cincy, near Kings Island. It is near many restaurants and shopping everywhere. It is only 2 miles from the Kings Island exit which was perfect for us. The breakfast buffet was really nice. It was awesome to eat right before going to the park. Definitely recommend this hotel!”

• Suite with free internet access and divided spaces in room/indoor pool/whirlpool.
• Leftover pizza in room frig, breakfast selections were definitely depleted at the end of morning.

“Good hotel for travelers, wishing a place to stay close to Kings Island, Beaches, or the north side of Cincinnati. Indoor pool and whirlpool. Suite rooms with two double beds, fold out single couch and second TV, arm chair in divided section of room. Desk with easy free internet access plug in along with refrigerator, microwave, storage, and kitchen sink. Continental breakfast: cereals, bagels, Danishes, toast, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, sausage, and something that passes as scrambled eggs. Easy check in and check out. Hidden away from the exit even though it was just a short distance from the ramp. Even with directions, I called to confirm location. Quiet, clean, and very nice for the price. Would stay again in a Heartbeat.”

• The bed & pillows were very comfortable.
• No WiFi; older carpet, narrow hallways remind me of a nursing home.

“It was a 2 1/2 star hotel at best. Grounds were pretty, the breakfast was so-so, having to plug in at a desk for internet was pretty silly, but the bed was really comfortable. At I like that I could run the fan on the heating/air unit all night.”

• The hotel was exceptional. It had all the comforts that we could
  enjoy. Quiet location, yet close to area attractions.

were accustomed to. The beds were very comfortable and the room was immaculate. This is probably one of the best hotels that we have stayed at. Trust me, we travel a lot.”

• Very friendly staff, clean, big rooms, cold ice water in lobby.
• Pool towels were very small.

“I would recommend this hotel for anyone. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The hotel was a little hard to find at first, but once you are there it is easy. Lots of great places to eat near by. Kings Island was very close. There was a cheerleading convention during our stay and we never heard anyone. Great place!”

• Convenient, clean and reasonable; accommodating staff.
• Location was good, but finding it tucked back in the back was tough.

“The hotel was very clean and very accommodating to our needs for an overnight stay. Continental breakfast was excellent and one of the better ones we've had. Staff was very pleasant and helpful! Kudos to management of the hotel! Only downside was trying to find it at night in the dark. Not well marked form the main road.”

• Size of the room, hot breakfast was also nice vs. typical continental.
• It was hidden in the trees and there was only a sign that was hidden behind bushes. Drove by 3x's before we found it.

“Larger rooms than average. It was nice having a king size bed. Having an extra TV really helped with young children.”

• Really loved the room. Very clean and comfortable.
• The location was slightly difficult even with directions. The sign for the hotel is hidden behind trees.

“Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the fact that the checkout time was at noon. Gave plenty of time for us to leave and didn't feel rushed. The room was wonderful and it was clean. Will definitely stay again!”

• Poor signage makes it difficult to locate.

“Big rooms, good layout, great value. The pool was out of service, but the neighboring hotel pool was available. The hotel seems understaffed, especially at check-in and during breakfast. A lack of signs made the hotel difficult to locate. Five turns are necessary once exiting the interstate, yet there were no signs to direct you. Use Goggle maps, because the hotel's maps were useless.”

• The directions given were wrong and the location is hidden, which is bad when trying to find it but good being away from traffic and businesses.

Kids loved the pool & we really enjoyed the large hot tub after a long day of walking & standing at King's Island. Price was a big factor in our decision to stay here & it is/was worth every penny!”

• Slow wireless internet, short Ethernet cord, kids running through halls and being disruptive without correction by hotel staff.

“Hotel was very nicely appointed, bed was comfortable, and room was spacious and very clean. Problems: there was some sort of large group of families staying for what appeared to be a baseball tournament and there were a large amount of children in the hotel pool area screaming at the top of their lungs, running the halls soaking wet, leaving puddles in the elevator and swearing and shouting, banging on doors overnight and early in the morning and nothing was done by hotel staff, who could not possibly have missed all the noise and disruption. The breakfast was advertised as being available till 10 but when I went down at 930 there was barely any food --milk for the cereal was even gone -- and the lobby was full of, again, shouting boys and nothing was being done to ask their parents to keep them appropriately quiet for public spaces. Would definitely stay at the hotel again, even given all the noise, but people who need quiet may be disappointed.”

• We found multiple things in our room showing it was not cleaned properly.

“Overall, we loved this hotel! In our eyes it just missed being a perfect stay in our eyes. They fell short because we found multiple things in our room that showed us the room was not cleaned carefully. We found multiple items (some small and some not small) from previous visits either along the walls, just under the edge of the bed, or just under the edge of the couch that showed us the cleaning staff did not pay close attention while cleaning the room.”

• We received a king. It did not meet our family needs.

“Very surprising to find this 2 1/2 star hotel inside a somewhat gated community. Very nice areas, friendly staff, easy check in and check out. Rooms are very modern and spacious, with convenient wet bar, desk and sitting area. Very comfortable beds and nice bathroom area. The exercise room was small for a hotel of this size. Breakfast was nice and convenient, also. Excellent experience overall.”

• 50% full and had 2 beds avail but refused that request. Hide a bed though was ok.

• The evening staff was not very friendly when we checked in at all. They seemed very judgmental. The indoor pool was very small.

• Hated the bedding, really skimpy, needs work.

“We were expecting pretty much what we received. The pull out bed was great for the kids but covers were skimpy. The King bed covers were also very skimpy and not useful. In order to make travelers feel comfortable, the hotel should look into ways to make the bedding more adequate. One way is to put a quality blanket between two sheets. None wants to touch the comforters or the skimpy coverlet for fear of. Continental breakfast was more than adequate.”

“A stones throw from King's Island, this hotel was clean and comfortable. It made a great place for us to get away and take a break from the park for a while. The staff was very courteous. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, complete with eggs, sausage and waffles in addition to fruits and cereals.”

• We liked everything.

“This hotel was very nice. It was clean. The room was actually broken into 2 sections, each with their own TV. The room included attributes that made it great for families, a fridge, microwave, couch, chair, desk, and internet hookup along with having 2 TV's. We loved it. Plus, the included breakfast was excellent, much better than the standard continental that is usually provided.”
