• It was very nice I would prefer this type of hotel when ever I am searching for one.

• The rooms were very nice and the bed was plush.
• The a/c made noise similar to typical wall units.

“The location to the highway and the rooms themselves are excellent. Granite countertops and the LCD TV are great touches. The bed is the plushest bed we have ever slept in. The only downside is the a/c was a bit noisy. Great hotel!”

• The decor was excellent.
• $12.95 for 24 hrs of wireless internet for business hotel. Should be free.

“The hotel was decorated beautifully and the room felt more like a stylish bedroom than a hotel room. The staff was quite friendly and the room was very clean. It also had flat panel HDTV as well as TV internet. I brought a laptop, expecting that wireless internet would be included in the price of the room. To my surprise, there was no way to get a connection in the room or lobby that didn't go through the hotel's pay-to-play connection. My wireless card is a bear and can pick up strong signals from 3 miles away, but I think the hotel took extra precautions to block outside signals. My opinion of the hotel may have actually been better if I had not had a "hold" placed on my bankcard without any notification. It's not the fact that there was a hold. It was the fact that I asked what type of use incurred additional charges, and other questions that would lead a person to say, "by the way, we'll place a hold of $x until checkout regardless of whether or not you use any of the additions." I didn't sign anything all. I was told the card would be kept on file and I'd be charged if I used something. (Which has always been my experience?)The hotel manager couldn't even articulate the policy or procedure for placing holds, nor could she produce any written information that showed a "the company policy" as she stated. The unspecific nature of the hold made it seem very arbitrary to me and soured my experience. (It also took 3 business days to release) The proper course of action would be to give adequate notice and I'd have gone along with no question. I don't sign without reading the document, twice. Post hoc application of unarticulated "company policy" sounds in fraud to me, even though it may not be the case at all. I'm just glad my bank alerted me to the charges as soon as they happened.”

• Internet cost $15 a day.

“A good hotel in a decent location. Not a good hotel if you want to use Marta, but good freeway access. I'm always amazed that if you stay at Marriott or Hilton you have to pay for a refrigerator, breakfast, or internet. If you choose to stay at the 2-star, those are free.”

• Doors did not come to the floor, could see neighbor's toes through adjoining door.

“The Marriott century center did not meet the star rating expectations for me. The biggest problem was the doors did not touch the floor, maybe a full inch of clearance under it. You could actually see people walk by under it, not their shadows, but their shoes. The refrigerator made a rattling noise that we reported with no response. Our remote did not work once, I took it to the desk the first night (granted late) but they could not fix it right then and the "engineer" was tied up and would be a little while. I said I would bring it back by in the morning. The only impressive thing was in the morning, I stopped by the desk, and the morning shift knew that I needed my remote repaired. The hotel is located near 85, but a few minutes out of downtown. If you're a tourist don't choose druid hills as an option that was my biggest mistake.”

“A nice and convenient hotel to get to downtown and midtown Atlanta. Although it's right next to a freeway, the windows block out all noise. Ridiculous to be a so-called 3-star hotel and not be given complementary internet service with your room, especially since it is useful for business travelers.”

“The staff was courteous and professional. The accommodations were clean, quiet and convenient. If you have a car, you can park free at the nearest Marta station and ride the rail into Atlanta. It's quick and easy and secure, and you'll avoid the notorious Atlanta traffic. The hotel is also close to I-85 and easy to find.”

• Convenient to Emory Medical Center. Wait staff was courteous and attentive.
• Wireless internet connection was not free; Restaurant Wait staff was short handed.

• Very friendly staff. Very nice pool. Very clean and quiet. Audio/video jacks in room with flat screen TV.
• Internet was not free. $12.95 per day for internet service is too much.

“Easy access from I-85. We were met by very friendly staff and a very nice clean hotel. Hotel atrium is beautiful. Room was spacious. Loved the flat screen TV in the room and the audio / video AV jacks was an added feature.”

• Lots of noise at 10:30 pm with kids shouting and the floor polishing going on. The interior building enhances the sound.

“Very well groomed exterior, interior and a nice pool area. The rooms are very comfortable and pleasing to the senses. Add an indoor pool, whirlpool and some sound proofing and I would give it 4 stars.”

• The beds are very comfortable. Location great for us.
• Small bath with sink in bathroom. Not best for traveling with the family.

“Overall, we enjoy our stay at this location. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms and bedding very clean. It is convenient for us as it is near family. I wish the sink was not located in the tub/toilet area. When traveling with several in your party, this can be awkward. We haven't stayed in warm weather yet, so we've yet to try the pool. We didn't eat here this time, but previously unimpressed with the restaurant.”

“Newly remodeled, outstanding staff, great amenities. I especially appreciated the Bed, Bath and Body Works soap/shampoo. This is a very comfortable stay if there is no convention/large meeting. Not within walking distance of anything but a very short drive to everything. Good location overall, with free parking!”

“Overall, very pleased with hotel and price. Would stay there again anytime we have to go to Atlanta. Was only 20 mines from Emory, and that is why we were in town. The only problem we experienced was on the last of our three nights stay-apparently the cheerleading competition was in town last weekend and there were tons of teenagers there, and it was loud late into the night. Some were even staying next door to us and made lots of noise and door slamming for hours. We had a small baby that had had surgery during this trip and this was a problem!”

• It would have been nice if the hotel had a full sauna, steam room, hot tub, indoor pool and spa.

• The hotel manager/most of the staff were great and rooms were what we expected.
• One of the front desk staff very rude when we had problems with the rooms.

“This hotel was a very nice facility, mostly very friendly, courteous, helpful staff. The food was great! There was a star bucks in the lobby. The pool area was very attractive with a fountain, outdoor grilling area, and heated pool. Very elegantly decorated.”

• Great location; great bed! Easily accessible from freeway.
• This hotel was quite noisy at all times of the day and night; lots of commotion coming from hallways.

“This hotel was very nice and was in a perfect location for our intended travel purposes. The staff was okay, but not extremely friendly. There was lots of commotion coming from the hallways at all hours of the day and night. The noise was apparent to everyone in the hotel, including the front desk staff, because of the open floor plan of the hotel. However, the staff didn't seem to stop the noise - ever. On one occasion, at 7:30 in the morning, some youngsters began playing the lobby piano very loudly, which was very close to the front desk. This didn't stop until I called the front desk and complained.”

“I was very please with all of the staff that I had dealings with. They 'bent over backwards' to help and were very friendly. I'm still looking for a hotel with a deep pool; this one was only 4 feet or so. I'd rank this right up there with the best.”

• The elevator is very efficient.
• There's no service at night.

“One night I turned on TV, the controller doesn't work. I looked at time, it was around 9 pm. I called front desk, called and called. Nobody answered. I continually calling for 20 minutes, finally, somebody answered the phone. I told her the problem. She said she'll send somebody over and bring us a new controller. But nobody ever came.”
