• It was close to were I needed to be and to restaurants.
• It was a bit dated.

“The hotel met my expectations. I had no problems with it and the staff was friendly and helpful. I probably wouldn't stay for an extended period, but for a night or two it works fine.”

• Charlie on the Desk was exceptional friendly and helpful.
• Rooms are to show wear & tear.

• The continental breakfast was awesome. Clean rooms.
• Can't really think of anything. It met all our expectations.

“I was skeptical at first. but the hotel was very clean, staff friendly, and continental breakfast was the best I have had compared to other hotels I have stayed at.”

• Good location. Older, but clean. Good amenities.
• Small room.

“A bit on the older side, but clean. Great deal for the money. Morning paper delivered to your door every day, very nice. Friendly staff. More services/amenities than you'd expect from a budget hotel. Being critical New Yorkers, we were pleased with the overall value.”

• The price I paid met, but didn't surpass my expectations. It was what I expected.
• Getting to your room from the parking lot.

“I felt for someone who is passing through this hotel is good for that. A place to sleep.”

• Location was good. Clean room. Friendly staff.
• Bare bones hotel. Depressing lobby. Small rooms.

“Price for this motel was same as a really great hotel elsewhere. Something wrong with this picture. A bare bones edifice with like rooms to match. Dingy lobby. I think the price for this room was way to high!”

• Ironing board in room, coffee in room, refrigerator and microwave!
• None.

“There were no negatives to this hotel. Its not flashy but had every thing we needed!”

• Pet friendly.
• Smokers' odor in hallway.

“I always stay here now on my several-times-a-year trip to visit family. Room always clean, many conveniences not usually found at this price, beds comfortable, pet friendly, child friendly, very good breakfast, very good value.”

• Clean, cheerful room, cheap.
• Beds aren't that comfortable.

“I found this hotel for my parents when they were on their way back home to south Carolina from my home in Chicago. They wanted something cheap just to "rest their heads" on the long drive back. They had stayed at a day¿s inn in Louisville on the way up and hated it. It was filthy and smelled. Clean, nice staff and cheerful room. The outside isn't much to look at but who cares about that. They said the beds weren't that comfortable so that's why I¿m giving it a 9 overall. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room too. ”

• Nice, friendly motel great for travelers passing through! Clean comfortable beds/rooms and a great early breakfast to give us a good start to our next day of travels.
• You won't find anything negative here!

“We travel from Canada to Florida most winters and have stayed at this" super 8" in Richmond each trip. We found it while on our first trip and wouldn't consider going anywhere else as it is perfect for us .there are lots of restaurants around and no matter where you go the people are friendly and so helpful to travelers. The manager and his wife are super nice too and always take time to chat with us. It¿s sort of like ¿going home¿. We hope to stop there at the end of this month!”

• It's location to the interstate.
• The breakfast needs to be upgraded and a larger dining facility.
