• The lobby was nice, The room was nice.

“There was a dance competition that weekend and I stay on one of the lower floors. The desk staff was not very concerned. There were no apologies. I was pretty much told to suffer until it was over, and I did.”

• Fantastic lobby area and nature trail in the rear of the hotel.
• Was a dirty washcloth left hanging on shower rod. Took 2 calls to have it removed.

“Overall this is a very nice hotel. Garaged parking, and valet if you are so inclined. The lobby area is large and open. It has a series of small waterfalls going from a series of ponds throughout it. Dining areas are very nice and atmospheric, however they were closed while I was there. Comfortable rooms and beds. Only complaint is that there was a dirty washcloth left hanging on the shower curtain rod when
I got there. This could be a minor oversight on the cleaning staff, however I called to have it remove, then took off for dinner. It was still there when
I returned a couple hours later. Second call finally got the problem solved. Problem aside it was a very nice hotel and well worth the money.”

• Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly & helpful.
• Late night dining in Sports Bar -service was not very good.

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Crowne Plaza. This was 1st time we have been to Atlanta and we were amazed at the hotel. When trying to decide on ways to travel to Georgia Dome, the shuttle bus driver was very helpful. We ended up taking a Taxi that was on standby at the hotel and made it with no problems. Hotel was very clean and beds were very comfortable.”

• Room decorated spectacularly with leather chairs and fantastic king bed, and plenty of hot water.
• It was a bit difficult to navigate the entrance the first time we arrived but after not a problem.

“The hotel experience was far above what we were expecting; the interior and exterior gardens were gorgeous. We were treated nicely and had a great night sleep on a wonderful bed. I would guess that most of the people would enjoy this hotel on business mainly due to its location and amenities designed for business travelers but we would love to go back again for leisure.”

• Very attractive lobby and grounds. Great place for a wedding reception!
• We saw an elderly woman with a walker trying to navigate some steps in the parking ramp and lobby. Staff could have assisted with this.

• I went to Gift market, am in the Hospitality Design Business and thought they did everything right.
• Maintenance was a problem, ice machine broken on our floor. Could happen to anyone.

• Lovely to look at, convenient, easy parking, and overall comfortable.
• Poor service, same request for 3 days never delivered to room or called concerning problem.

“While very lovely and convenient, we did not enjoy our stay due to the "family reunion overrunning and taking over the hotel! Poor service due to being overwhelmed by "family reunion" special touch not present during this stay. Room cleaning was not great. Towels, coffee, amenities incomplete or not present. Horrible coffee pot, 1 cup at a time extremely inconvenient. Have stay here before and it was wonderful but this time was unpleasant.”

• Worth staying here for the wonderful gardens and Grotto Restaurant! Grotto is amazing!
• Like many higher end hotels I have visited affluent minority singles have made the bar the place to hang out on Friday night. Parking is tough then.

“Very secure. If you don't plan to stay here just visit for the gardens and fine Italian restaurant! There is no charge for parking. Like many hotels it's noisy in the halls on weekends but the hotel provided ear plugs, a nice fan on the A/C and even a CD for the CD player to mask noise. They charge $10 a day for internet but have 4 units in the lobby when kids aren't using them that are free. When they say "Flat Screen TV" They mean a nice tube TV not an HD TV. 4 blocks to the MARTA (subway) and free shuttle bus at the hotel. Many restaurants close by. I would be delighted to stay again.”

• Friendly front desk staff, convenient hotel shuttle within 3 mile radius.
• Concierge not always around, and bathroom lacked a towel bar -- although there was a note asking guests to help conserve water by reusing towels.

“Excellent pillows and beds in nice-looking rooms (though they were not very large). Bathrooms could use a towel bar, and the hotel would probably conserve plenty of energy if the housekeepers did not leave the lights on. The staff members I spoke with were all very friendly.”

• Entrance circle to hotel was a little congested. Limited space due to valet parking.

• I loved the atrium. The location, so close to perimeter and the Marta station was a big plus.
• The coffee shop was horrible. You need free wireless in the lobby.

• Bathroom not spotless. Not enough coffee. Concierge not available!

“Hotel atmosphere was great. Staff not as helpful or friendly as desired. Suggestions would be to pamper your guests, ensure cleanest quality in the bathrooms and provide concierge service to club level guests at all costs! We had to make our own car reservation after 10 minutes of searching for a concierge staff member, which we never found. Front desk advised they were too busy we should call for a car yourself.”

• Furnishings seemed old and room had odor (not smoke).

“Disappointed. Despite making a request well in advance for king/non smoking, and having been promised that it would likely be available, I wasn't given friendly service at check-in when I was told that king rooms were not available. The room smelled stale and housekeeping knocked on my door twice when my privacy notice was hanging on the doorknob. Unlikely to return, despite a regular client of mine located within a mile of this property. ”

• Almost everything.
• The female employees at front desk were not very friendly or accommodating .they did not smile or act as if they were eager to help/please.

“Everything was wonderful... loved the parking, too! there are a few female employees that should not be in a public service position due to their unfriendly manners and rather arrogant attitudes. Irina and Marina in the Club are both dolls! I especially enjoyed Irina in the mornings. Would love to visit your property again!”

• No negatives.

“My wife and I were on our 12th anniversary and were treated like royalty. Lynn was unaware of our celebration, but inquired, and upgraded our stay. Very professional, kind, outgoing and at midnight no less.”

• I loved the location because I was specifically coming in to shop at Perimeter Mall They also had a shuttle that went back and forth to the mall.
• Though they had a shuttle, it took a long time to arrive and on the way back, it never showed up though I called and they said they were coming.

“Location was great for shopping and restaurants, rooms were large, very clean and decorated nicely. Nice lounge area outside the bar. Parking was very convenient and free which is a big plus in Atlanta! All and all a very enjoyable stay for a shopping weekend.”

• Large room. Beautiful lobby. Beautiful garden area. Large bathroom. Soft and comfortable beds.
• Staff could be a little friendlier.

“A very nice place to stay. We were visiting a college in Dunwoody and the location was perfect. I really liked the large room, as I had stayed at another hotel in Atlanta a month ago and the room was so small that you could hardly walk around the beds. Definitely the Crowne Plaza deserves a 4 star rating instead of a 3 star rating.”

• The hotel was clean and in a very safe and higher class area. The hotel had great amenities.
• When we called to confirm and request a king size bed the CSR was rude and unhelpful. It's the first time I've had this problem in 3 yrs.

“The hotel is very large and beautiful. It is currently being renovated in the lobby, the pictures of what they're building look beautiful and I look forward to returning to see it completed. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The bathrooms were very clean and modern.”

• The service was very poor.

“This hotel is under repair and the staff does not care. We had a sheet that was torn and never replaced. We asked for a spoon and was informed that we would be charged. The fire alarm went off at 6am and we received no apology; just an explanation when we asked, that maintenance made a mistake.”

• There was a group of young people, who were very noisy...at Midnight!!

“Excellent location. They have a beautiful garden area with Koi ponds and a great walking trail. The onsite restuarant LaGrotta is wonderful.They are renovating the hotel, but that did not bother our visit. Avoid the 2nd. floor ( it's the floor with the Health club) it can get noisy with guest going back and forth using the elevator.”

• I liked the location and the amenities of this property.
• We had problems with the fire alarm in the room sounding. We had to call maintenance.

“We stayed here for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and kept up well. We had no problems except that the fire alarm in the room sounded a few times which resulted in us calling maintenance. Overall, a very pleasant experience.”

• I wish we had longer to stay there.

“The room was nicely decorated. Beds very comfortable. Bath was nice and large. The shower curtain bowed out to give you even more room in the shower. We did not see the pool area or eat in restaurant. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property.”

• Hotel was very close to where I needed to be. Restaurant on premises was a plus.
• High speed internet cost $9.95. Most hotels offer for free. Iron was broken and wouldn't stay on.

“Overall, I enjoyed the hotel. The beds were done up nicely with multiple pillows. The sleep & relaxation CD was interesting. The covered parking made it easy to come and go. However, while checking in the valet would not allow us to park in front. There were 4 small negative issues:
1. Most hotels offer high speed internet for free these days. This hotel offered it for $9.95 per day per computer. I chose not to use this service for that reason.
2. The iron did not work properly. It kept shutting off after 10-15 seconds.
3. Although the vending machines had a slot for dollar bills, they would only accept coins. I tried multiple floors before giving up.
4. The alarm clock was tricky to figure out how to operate.

None of these would keep me from recommending this hotel to others. It probably would not be my choice for business purposes though.”

“Room was musty smelling and noisy. I was awakened 4 times until 3:30 a.m. with people running and hollering in the hallway. I called the front desk and was assured that security was taking care of the situation. Noise never stopped. A week later I checked my credit card bill and I had been charged twice for the room. Still trying to resolve. Will not stay there again.”

• I liked the room cleanliness and that the staff was so pleasantly ammenable to accomodating my request for a corner room on a high level floor.
• The shuttle was too slow to pick up and deliver.

“This hotel is conveniently located near 285 and is luxuriously accommodated with furnishings and other amenities. The staff is friendly, professional, and aims to please.”

• It was a beautiful hotel. The staff was wonderful. I enjoyed an amazing view of the city.
• I could hear the vaccum cleaner on the floor above me. I was a slight annoyance. But, overall the hotel was great.
