  • Breakfast/room service, leave the card on the door at night and poof, eggs and taters in the morning when you get up with hot coffee.
  • Food was a bit overpriced and not that great. The bar closed at like 11pm, a few nights I was there, too early for a bar to close.

“The hotel staff was very nice. I used the jacuzzi and it needed some tending to but was okay. The health club was also okay and provided water and clean towels. The room was comfy as was the bed. It was within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the Perimeter mall. Beautiful mall if you like to shop.”

  • The staff was so friendly and the hotel was everything we expected and more!

“I loved the hotel it was perfect in many ways. The staff was so nice and friendly. The lobby was very nice for lounging. The rooms were great. There was plenty of parking which was free. The hotel was located right beside the Marta so that was very convenient. My overall stay at this hotel was excellent.”

“It was a great hotel and and also in an ideal location. There were elegant restaurants less than 5 minutes away as well as a shopping mall. If you want to travel into the heart if Atlanta for its night life,it only took 15 minutes to get to the nearest night club. LOVE it.”

  • Too many people - I think there were 3 family reunions there at one time - very loud in lobby.

“The hotel is a bit difficult to get to from the interstate winding through shopping center main roads. The rooms were spacious and clean. The air conditioner sporadically made extremely loud sounds. We were awakened at midnight when the sounds became consistent and overwhelming. We called and were brought a key to another room at the end of the hall. The staff was quick to respond. It was not fun moving in our pajamas in the middle of the night. They did give us the option of leaving our things in the first room and just moving to the other room to sleep. We declined that offer for numerous reasons. One of which was going out in the morning without being properly dressed more likely to meet other hotel guests. We later understood that they were in the process of changing out the units that were making the noise and this one had not been changed. My point would be that we should not have been assigned a room that could have a problem when others were obviously available.”

“The extremely friendly staff has caused us to return to this hotel. Two big problems for me are 1) internet connection is too expensive and 2) there is no refrigerator or food storage in the room. As much as I like the front desk staff, I probably will not return due to the 2 problems. Less expensive hotels do not have these problems.”

“Clean, good parking, but with poor training of the staff. They attempted to double charge for the stay. Check your bill! Internet and long distance calls were an additional $12.95 per 24 hours. The restaurant was under construction, so you eat in the bar. Not what I expect from an Atlanta Hotel.”

  • The bathroom in the room was very small and there were actually water stains on the bottom of the door.

“This hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel location is great and easy to find from the Interstate. Close to shopping and places to eat. About one block from Marta rail stop. A very important feature if you want to beat the huge Atlanta traffic problem.”

  • I found the property difficult to find! You need to give directions that are simpler rather than shorter!

“Once you get to the Hotel Property, you are transported to a great place for a getaway! Everything I encountered while there was very good. I would go so far as to say that everything was quite delightful and I was very pleased with the entire experience. Other than the difficulty in finding the Hotel. I would give it a 9 rating out of 10!”

“I like this part of Atlanta because food & services are nearby. The Marriott map of nearby restaurants was not very good at all. Why don't they use "google earth" to put the restaurants in the right place? Show when there is a building between the road and the restaurant. Finding food, dsw, the theater, circuit city, best buy and target was the only bad part of our stay.”

  • The staff was very helpful; they anticipated our needs and offered their assistance often. They were very friendly and well-mannered.
  • On the third day our room was not straightened up by housekeeping. The other item is there was a chip in the ceiling over the tub.

“The staff was wonderful. We were impressed by their eagerness to help us with everything we needed quickly and accurately. They helped us with directions to the areas we wanted to visit. They also suggested places for us to visit. The driver suggested "la Aztecan" restaurant to us on our first night. It was wonderful. We are very thankful to the staff for making our stay a great experience all the way around.”

  • Walls a little thin, noise carries, needs sound machine.

“The hotel was lovely. For a bit older facility. Would suggest a 'sound therapy' style clock, because the noise carries. Was lucky not to have noisy neighbors. For sleep. Otherwise couldn't have been more pleased for the value! However the next night would have been 239. Would have 2nd thought at that price. I guess its all relative.”

“For an older hotel over all appearance is great. The lobby is open and inviting. The only wear & tear that shows is in the hallways and baths are a bit tired looking. The rooms and beds are tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. If there had not been two family reunions at the hotel- guests were quite loud and noisy in halls and rooms. I did move after first night, but my misfortune put me near a stray family reunion person and I was too beat to move again. I wore earplugs each night. Just unlucky to be around the family reunion.”

  • The Bellman was wonderfully accommodating in driving us to an evening destination and returning to pick us up.
  • I was not able to get a king room, but the double was OK.

“The hotel was very nice and accommodating. We would be happy to stay there again. The beds were absolutely great; so very comfortable. The bath amenities from Bath & Body Works were delightful. The Bellman who drove us a couple of times was terrific. His name was Walter.”

  • The front desk employees were more than helpful and friendly. They really were attentive and tried to help in any way they could with directions etc.

“The front desk employees and maintenance staff were all wonderful. They safety was another issue. We drove up on Wed. 7/5 to the FBI arresting a man in the parking lot in close proximity to us. It was a little frightening. Also the housekeeping staff did not remove the soap in the shower from the guest before us, along with speaking and yelling Spanish in the hallways early in the a.m. We did like the pool and the security system set up to go into the pool area did help.”

  • I loved the beds in this hotel. The linens used on the bed were soft and very comfortable. The comforters and pillows were made of down and feathers
  • I did not like the fact that in order to use the computer in the business center you had to purchase a prepaid card in order to use it.

“I liked this hotel. The lobby entrance is very pretty and they offer a lot of parking. The best thing about the rooms were the beds. The beds are so comfortable that you just don't want to get out of them. The bathroom was nice and clean as well. I did not have any lotion in my bathroom so when I called to the front desk the young lady promptly brought some to the room for me. I really liked this hotel and I would definitely stay there again. Once of the things I did not like about the hotel was that although they offered a business center you had to pay to use it. If you needed to use the computer either you had to insert your credit card and agree to pay $6.00 for 20 minutes of computer time or go to the gift shop and purchase a card for $10.00 for 45 minutes of time. I did not like this at all. I was in town for a business conference and did not have a laptop with me. Considering the type of hotel the Marriott and how much they charge for rooms I was very surprised they charged for the business center. The also offered a breakfast buffet was very expensive in my opinion $12.95. There are a lot of restaurants in the area so this was not a problem. I would definitely stay here again, but my biggest complaint was that they charged for the use of the business center.”

  • Construction on street to hotel the driving was confusing.

“I found the hotel very nice. I was placed in a room next to the elevators and the vending machines after I specifically requested a quiet room away from the large groups. I did not request a room change due to the traffic in the lobby with numerous weddings and large groups checking in and requiring assistance. I could hear the ice machine and the guests in the hallway due to the proximity of the room. I was too close to the busiest location on the floor.”
