• The check in/out process was very easy.
• Most hotels offer HSIA or wireless for free. This hotel charged $13.

“Our stay at the hotel was fairly brief, we checked in around 8pm and were out by noon the following day. I liked the ease of check in/out and that the staff were very helpful. The ambiance of the hotel was very calm, yet upscale. The rooms were comfortable - it was obvious though that this hotel wasn't always upscale. Sagging wallpaper was one clue. The room also smelled very hotel, and by that I mean closed in and almost musty. I noticed that one of my towels was torn, which I wouldn't expect from a Westin either. Overall the stay was fine, the beds were very comfortable, the dual shower heads was a plus, and there room was large enough for me, my husband and my 4 year old.”

• Location. Nice hotel and grounds. Convenient to restaurants-shopping and city.
• Rooms are very small - no place to put bags for unpacking.

“We have stayed in this hotel several times before and have always enjoyed the stay. Walking the surrounding area is a treat. The hotel is very convenient to the city via 400 toll road and there are good restaurants and shopping near-by. The hotel was clean and well appointed and the staff was courteous and helpful.”

• The bed was so comfortable, the dual head shower

• Comfort level.
• No microwave.

“Very nice. Pleasant view from the room overlooking a man made pond. Something you do not expect in a metropolitan area. The room did not have a microwave and had a one cup coffee maker which was the only downside.”

• I liked the location of the hotel, the friendly staff, and the complementary Star Bucks coffee!
• I did not like that there was a charge for internet access.

“You cannot beat the location of Westin hotel in Atlanta. It is only about .25miles from the Perimeter Mall. My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful view and easy access to our favorite restaurants, PF Chang and the Olive Garden. I will definitely be going back!”

• It was challenging to find - buried in an office park with circular and winding roads.

• Close to the Perimeter Mall.
• The room that I stayed in was very unclean and the carpet was wet. The bathroom was very dirty, no one ever showed up to fix the plumbing issue.

“The hotel rooms were dirty. They attempted to move me to twice and each room's bathroom was dirty and had plumbing problems. The carpet was very soggy in two of the rooms, as if there was a leak or flood. There was no water for 10 hours. Terrible experience all around.”

“This hotel is awesome for the convenience to downtown Atlanta and the perimeter area. The bed was comfortable and room itself is out of sight! The view from the top floor areas is amazing. I would stay here all over again and would recommend any traveler to book here at this hotel.”

• Small rooms, caulk in showers old.

“Bed was really comfy. Very small rooms. The price was great and the location is great if you want to have great access to North side/Scottish Rite/St. Josephs Hospital, as well as perimeter mall and easy access to I-285 and 400. The room itself wasn’t of the caliber of normal west in upscale; particularly the bathroom, which was ok but a bit dated and the caulk in the shower was a bit gross.”

• The staff was terrific and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

“I travel frequently and I am in the hotel business myself. The staff at this hotel are outstanding. Anything I asked for it was to my room with-in 5 minutes. If I needed directions they had them waiting on me by the time I got downstairs and already had my car pulled around ready to go. Great recommendations by the staff on restaurants, and nightlife. The bed maybe the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling, its worth every cent.”

• Lobby areas and elevators were extremely hot.

“Off the beaten path, the Westin is a great hotel for a business traveler or someone looking for a more economical stay in Atlanta than the downtown or midtown areas. It is a bit hard to find but overall the hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Other than valet there was no cost for parking which is a big plus. I have to admit there was definitely something not working with the air conditioning. The lobby areas and the elevators were like saunas! Overall it was a good hotel.”

“The Westin at Perimeter is secluded from the noise and traffic of Atlanta. The hotel sits on a manicured property that includes a lakeside resting spot in back. The staff is warm, welcoming, yet quite professional. The room is luscious; the bed and bath are designed for total comfort. I attended several functions in the downtown and midtown areas of Atlanta but my mind was in my room. I could not wait to get back to the peace and quiet of the hotel! Having worked in the hospitality industry, I am not easy to please. I run my fingers over frames, check under beds, and examine window sills. I expect total courtesy and respect from staff. I demand careful documentation of all charges. This hotel exceeded all of my expectations!”

• The lobby was very nice.
• AC didn't work, internet cost $12.99/day, cannot use in-room fridge because stocked with drinks.

“Although the Westin at Perimeter North was a nice hotel, I was severely displeased with the amenities. The air conditioner was out the first night making for a very uncomfortable sleep. Internet costs $12.99/day. The in-room fridge is unusable because it is stocked with drinks that you have to pay for if you remove them. I could have gotten a nice, cool room & free internet at a Ho-Jo, Days Inn, LaQuinta, Red Roof, etc. and saved money.”

“This is the second time I've stayed here. The hotel is excellent with two minor exceptions. The down pillows go flat (I prefer foam) and all of the pillows in our room were down. The air conditioner does not cool the room the first night, but after setting it at 60 degrees, by the second day it gets cool. This was the case both times.”

“Room was very small and there was way too much furniture. Never greeted by bellman. We called twice to request additional pillows and still went to bed without the pillows. Room service food was good and delivered in the time promised. Except for the lobby, I would rate this hotel as a 2 star.”

“Checked in without any problems, room was clean and well appointed. No problems until we went to order room service, was put on hold for thirty minutes and ended up waiting two and a half hours for our food. The overall noise level was very high as we were apparently put right next to a reception that started very early in the morning.”

• Room decor and set up was great - lovely view.
• Self parking on a crowded evening after dark turned out to be a huge hassle.

“We enjoyed our stay here except for the parking dilemma. It took us 30 minutes just to park after we checked in. It almost seemed like they wanted you to just give and pay for valet parking.”

• The Westin Workout room was fantastic, staff was very helpful.
• There was some party in the lobby Saturday night and Sunday morning there were bottles and trash everywhere.

“Great hotel, courteous and helpful staff, great gymnasium facility; recommend a quicker cleanup process after the party that was held on the first floor.”

• Small room seemed overfilled with furniture.

“Very nice hotel on the outskirts of town so the traffic is not as bad. Easy interstate access and located in an upscale office park. Convenient free parking. The only negative is that the room is small and feels a bit cramped due to the large furniture pieces.”

• Overall, it was nice; salt water pool was a nice surprise, but full of leaves at one end.
• Room is too small and very average except for the snack fridge.

“I would expect a 4-star to have better room furniture (old and scratched); also, there were several big stains on the down comforter, which was covered top and bottom by sheets. No mirror in the room; only one on the closet door and the other in the bath.”
