- Nice public areas and room. Recently updated. Convenient to Perimeter Mall & great restaurants.
- Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. They came off very aloof. Did not have friendly greetings when we would come and go. Bed and pillows not so heavenly.
“We live 40 miles away and went there for a getaway weekend to shop, dine out and relax. The staff was not very friendly. The room was nice but small. Westin's are generally great hotels. However we were a little disappointed with the bed because it wasn't as heavenly as we have had at other properties. The pillows were not good at all. The location is great for shopping at the mall or for business travelers. It was very quiet. We had easy access to parking.”

“Absolutely not a 4 star hotel, perhaps a 2 star with valet. Valet not to be confused with star level but a service to attract business persons with need for transportation to Marta. Very convenient to Marta thus, an ideal location for business men with no need for anything other than a clean bed.”

- The healthy ambiance reflected throughout the hotel's decor and offerings.
- The directions were horrible!
“The hotel is beautiful, although very difficult to find. Hotel staff was unable to provide correct driving directions although 3 calls were made. The guests in front of us and others we encountered in the hotel echoed the same sentiments. Although, once there, the hotel itself if beautiful; the staff accommodating and helpful. The room was comfortable and romantic even though outfitted for business - which we mix with recreation everywhere we go. It was a perfect match!”

- The staff that we encountered was excellent.
- Rooms were showing wear and bath fixtures did not work correctly.
“Bedding was excellent. Upholstering was shabby. We required an outlet near the bed for c pap. This was located behind the headboard. The up dates to the shower were wonderful but the faucets did not work correct. Bath lighting and mirror were a super plus. With just a little effort, they could be a 5 star facility.”

- Westin has the most fabulous beds! I love the way they feel!
- Location is a bit hard to find.
“As with most Westin's, this one was outstanding. The only problem we encountered was with our in room breakfast. There were several problems as a few of the things we had ordered were left off. The staff was gracious and apologetic and quickly brought the items that were left off. I only comment about this because Westin hotels are usually right on top of room service and all aspects of hotel hospitality.”

- The sheets, linen, desk, desk chair, and lounge chair.
- No one really said anything to us from the hotel.
“I enjoyed this luxurious hotel, the view from the room, especially the bed linens, and the room furniture. The "mini bar" prices in the room were a little high and I couldn't believe the internet was $12 a day. It seems like internet access should be free based on the price of the room. However, the room was great, the free star bucks coffee was great along with the in room coffee maker, and everything about the room itself was wonderful. The hotel was very clean and the staff was courteous but terse without that welcome feeling of the country inns or the Hampton Inn. Overall I would rate our visit an 8 out of 10 because of the Westin's luxury, in room star bucks coffee, and cleanliness.”

- The heavenly bed and the heavenly double shower heads.
- Room felt a little cramped.
“Overall, excellent hotel. They have a bit of an elevator problem on the weekends. The wait on the hotel almost made me want to check out. Also, they had a problem with the water and we were told to drink the water out of the hotel room, only to find out later that I was charged. I called the hotel on Monday to complain and was advised the charge would be removed. As of Wednesday, I still have not received my credit. Seemed kind of suspect, I know it was only $9, but if they charged everyone, then they got over.”

- The prices on the honor bar were outrageous.
“This is a fabulous hotel. Renovated in contemporary style, it was lovely. We got in late that night, and the staff at the bar made sure that we got some excellent food; right before they were to close. The bellman was able to help us find, and wrote out directions, to something we were trying to find in Atlanta. I loved this hotel!”

“Hotel was very convenient to restaurants and large mall and business. Room was comfortable and quiet with a great view of the city. Staff was very helpful and great shuttle staff free of charge within 2 miles of hotel (which covers a lot of choices) we never drove ourselves once we parked the car, between the shuttle and the Marta (train system) of Atlanta. Great weekend experience. Lots to see and do in hot Atlanta. New aquarium is awesome, a must see.”

- Broken elevator, broken exercise equip, non-English speaking staff.
“I found the room to be cramped with a king-size bed but luckily I was by myself. The room was clean and bedding, luxurious. The refrigerator wouldn't allow me to put in my own drinks to cool because it would charge my account for the moved items. (The front desk credited my account with only my simple telephone request.) The staff was all helpful except for those that couldn't speak English, which happened twice. I had exercised and didn't want to stink up the elevator but stairs were not to be found even after asking an employee so I ended up with a bride and her parents post-reception. The valet staff was very courteous even during the check-out rush. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again. The pool was pleasant. The exercise room was nice (though the stair stepper was broken and the TV reception was lousy--I didn't care much.)”

- The toilet leaked and kept the floor wet by the bed.
“The hotel staff would eventually answer any requests made of them, but it would always take at least two phone calls if not three. I expect leaky toilets and wet floors in a motel 6, not a Westin.”

- It was clean, attractive and aimed at the business traveler.
- Room/bathroom was not as large or as upgraded as I would have liked.
“The Westin was very accommodating and much focused on business travelers. Single cup coffee maker in the room is very nice. There were families there but nothing was geared for kids. The restaurant was over priced so we only ate breakfast there. Not far away there is a wide range of places to eat.”

- The staff was very friendly and the location is great.
- The hotel room was quite small and the bed was not very comfortable.
“I expected the hotel room to be much nicer. The staff was very friendly and cheerfully honored our request for a king sized bed instead of two doubles. The public areas are very nice and the restaurant offers outdoor tables next to a lake, which was very nice. The room was quite small and the bed, though attractive and clean, was not very comfortable. We would have paid more money to stay in a higher quality hotel if we had known.”
