• The room wasn't very clean.

“The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, but from there it was somewhat downhill. There was a smell coming from the bathroom when we entered, and the foldout bed / couch was unclean. Overall, it was a place to sleep while in Cincy, and there isn't much more I can say about it.”

• It was very clean, and I liked the kitchen area. Internet was available for a low fee.

“This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean as well as the outside halls and other areas. It had all the comforts of home, a soft couch, a kitchen with two stove top burners and plenty of options for eating in, room service, plenty of space, and a work area that could also be used as a dining area.”

• The location, the outdoor grill and eating patio.
• Room was dirty, not maintained even after complaints, horrible continental breakfast.

“Although the staff was friendly, I was unable to get things fixed in my room. i.e. bathroom light wasn't working, told staff three times and it still wasn't fixed, room was filthy upon check in and still dirty when I had the once a week thorough cleaning. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to family's due to the fact of having to sleep in an uncomfortable hide-away-bed. Also the continental breakfast consisted of bagels and coffee with apples. The bagels were not available everyday (only Mon-Fri) and on one day there wasn't any at all, staff stated they didn't have any as well as that there was no cream cheese for the bagels for several days.”

• Nice room with comfortable bed and nice kitchenette.
• Carpet was stained, popcorn behind the couch from previous guest.

“Nice room with adequate facilities. Full kitchen available. Check-in staff was friendly and helpful. The carpet could have been cleaner. The closet door had some mechanical problems. I stayed for 4 nights - able to exchange towels at front desk. Only 1 (2 oz) bottle of shampoo and 2 soaps for entire stay.”

• Everything was wonderful, the room was more than we expected.
• The ice machine was in a weird place and the continental breakfast left much to be desired.

“I would highly recommend it, especially for an extended stay as the full kitchen with dishwasher and ice maker were particularly convenient. The bed was comfortable as well as the couch. We didn't get a chance to go to the pool so no comment on that. There wasn't much to the continental breakfast so don't count on that filling you up.”

“Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Rooms were very clean. Looks like a very new hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Pool was very nice and had beautiful landscaping. Location was in a nice area and close to Kings Island. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great experience.”

• Very friendly staff and a nice pool.
• Room looked dated and was very small.

“Not a bad place to stay for the price as you get a nice swimming pool, small kitchenette, etc. But I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 adults and 1-2 small children as the room is small and awkwardly arranged.”

• The pool area was beautiful and contained a public grill!
• We ended up with a stinky smoking room and in 90 degree heat the AC was not on.

“Loved the hotel. I should have requested a non-smoking room, I forgot. The staff was extremely helpful and prepared. Breakfast was a little lean, but not expected. Pool area was one of the best I have ever stayed at and contained a public grill! Had a great stay!”

“Nice place clean and not near a busy area. Seemed to be near a business area not busy on the weekend. Have a full size fridge, cook top stove and microwave, but utensils and dishes only for two. No maid service for multiple day stay or towels, extra supplies can be obtained at the desk though. Room was clean and overall experience was good. Staff was helpful and had no issues here.”

“The place wasn't by any means "so dirty" I didn't feel comfortable sleeping there, but it did need a lot of sprucing up. Multiple problems with minor things i.e., bathroom door handle broke. Kitchen sink leaked. Carpet was ripped and dirty. The beds were clean and sort of comfortable. The staff was very helpful with all the problems.”

• I didn't like anything about this hotel.
• I arrived late, door was locked, and staff wouldn't let me in - rude!

“The staff member was a jerk and treated me with extreme rudeness because I checked in late. I felt like my stay at the hotel was an inconvenience for him. The hotel room was dingy, cigarette holes in the sofa, cigarette holes in the blankets. I didn't like touching anything in this room at all!”

“This hotel was generally clean, though some mildew in shower was evident. Also wondered about bedspread as most hotels have changed to more washable linens. I would stay there again, though.”

“Although this was an extended stay hotel with a kitchen we were unable to locate a grocery store in the area. Front desk was helpful, but it would be nice if they were more of them. Very busy.”

“Ok if staying for a large amount of time (full kitchen) but absolutely no frills hotel. And disappointed that they did not even offer continental breakfast. And because they maid service does not clean and straighten up every day the room was filthy with hair in tub and urine in the toilet, I will not stay here again. The only positive it was close to shopping and restaurants.”

• We appreciated being provided with a full suite.
• The refrigerator was louder than normal. And the pool was closed.

“A very comfortable stay in a clean well appointed suite with a full kitchen. There was no noise from adjacent rooms though the refrigerator ran a bit too much. Bedroom and living areas were conveniently separate. The staff was excellent and the blue ash location was wonderful; much better than the nearby mason/kings island area hotels.”

• Easy to get to and easy to find. Rooms were pretty well sound proofed, didn't notice neighbor noise.
• The kitchenette had crumbs in the sink & dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Mattress was a "V" shape.

“It was ok. Felt safe, but bed was uncomfortable, kitchenette had not been cleaned, and they did not provide any shampoo, toothbrush, or cups to drink from. Maybe we were supposed to drink from the dirty cups that were in the dishwasher.”

• I liked the location, the full kitchen; some of the staff was professional, the economy, and coffee available.
• Found a used condom on the fold out sofa bed, had many problems with the card keys, some of workers too involved in text messaging instead of customer.

“The room I had been for 7 days. It was a really decent room. When I checked in, I wasn't asked if there were any other people to be in the room, even though there was a gentleman standing there with me. So he had trouble getting into to room one night-a Friday or Saturday, but we were issued two keys. I rented the hotel for a gentleman friend that lives out of town, so I wasn't always there. Basically, the room was great-just some negative experiences marred the stay.”

• Could have been cleaner, but not an issue, as it met expectations and description.

“Would recommend to business and leisure travelers who are budget conscious and desire self catering amenities (kitchen facilities, coin laundry); well located (in an office-park area), convenient-restaurants, shopping easily accessed. Spacious rooms, recommend for extended stay. Quiet hours during the evening (10 pm-8 am), which was nice. Helpful, friendly staff. Area feels safe, secure, and well-lit.”

• Kitchenette was nice and had all the basics I needed to cook.
• Upkeep is less than perfect and not adequately staffed.

“Many little things were not working - a burner was missing from one room, but it was fixed within 48 hours and the bedside lamp didn't work. In another room the freezer didn't freeze, the closet door didn't open and the overhead light didn't work. Additionally, the building is not very secure and I didn't need my key to open the exterior doors. If everything was in working order, the rooms would be fantastic. The staff is friendly, but they can't seem to be responsive as there is only 1 person at the front desk and maintenance is minimal at best.”

“For a family on a short visit, this is not a good choice, no housekeeping or linen service was not acceptable for our trip. The appliances in our first room were not in working order; however, the staff was punctual in moving us to another room. The hallways had an offensive odor and the room we were moved to be a smoking room.”

“I stay in Cincinnati every week. This is my first time in this particular hotel. It was easy to get to call them. Don't use map quest} The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was lovely with a kitchen big enough to be a real kitchen. Exceeded my expectations. Look forward to staying here again.”

• The location was excellent for me. The room layout is exceptional for the money.
• The decor and furnishings are not as nice as some others in this category. They charge extra for internet access.

“A Homestead suite is affiliated with extended stay. There are two extended stays within about 5 miles - one of which I have stayed at on multiple occasions. There is no comparison. The sea that is just south of this hotel is a dump in comparison. Where was homestead for the past 5 months that I have been living out of a hotel during the week? This location is 1 block from where I was working (ironically, my work location just moved the previous week)!”
