“I found the hotel itself and grounds well maintained and the service very accommodating to my request. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a private, intimate stay or just to unwind from work or travel.” Aug 15, 2009 by
Steve from Vienna,VA
“This is a slightly better-than-average hotel in a good location off the interstate. The room had little space to relax in, and the bathroom had little space for toiletries, but the shower strength was superb, the room was clean and the bedding was good.” Aug 3, 2009 by
matt from Coldwater,OH
“it was a good stay” Aug 1, 2009 by

“The facilities were very nice. The staff was amazingly accomidating.” Jul 22, 2009 by
Kevin from Donaldson,AR
“Great location, good price, very clean, and friendly staff.” Jul 19, 2009 by
Rich from Powell,OH
“The hotel is nice, but the rooms are small with few amenities. The bathroom lacks counter space and is too small for a family of 4. The beds had upgraded mattresses and sheets and very comfortable. The housekeeping staff was very cordial and did a good job of cleaning the room. The pool area is nice and very clean. Overall the hotel was nice, but I would only rate it as a 3 star property.” Jul 19, 2009 by
Cristina from Columbus,OH
“When we arrived we were informed by the front desk manager (male) that we were booked in a smoking room. We would never book a smoking room as we are asthmatic and have young children that are asthmatic. I asked to have a non-smoking room and the front desk manager was beyond rude. I was offended and appalled at his demeanor. I would never stay here again.” Jul 13, 2009 by
Fred from Willard,OH
“Very nice hotel with a convenient location to King's Island and downtown Cincinnati. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay here again without question.” Jun 17, 2009 by

“Good experience.” Apr 7, 2009 by

“There was absolutely nothing upscale about this place. My biggest complaint pertains to the room accommodations which can best be described as average. The room's furnishings appeared to be from the early 90's or late 80's circa. The room decor and adjoining hallways were dark, dreary and downright depressing. The only thing I enjoyed about this hotel was checking out.” Jan 26, 2009 by
Bob from Jackson,TN
“If clean, comfortable, and quiet is important then this hotel is great. The restaurant/pool areas also are pleasingly decorated and maintained.” Sep 16, 2008 by
Adele
“We had a leak in the ceiling that dripped and when I called the front desk it took 15 minutes for someone to come move us. We requested a late check out and were told to put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door, just in case the maid would not see the request and we did, but she came in twice. Things seemed a little unorganized, but a friendly staff.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Vonda from Marion, IN
“Great hotel for value - all staff were great. No problems at all!” Sep 3, 2008 by
Dana from Middletown, OH
“First, they did not accept pets. The internet in the business office was out for two days. They did not even have coffee set up in the lobby on Sunday, August 31st. Nothing was included in this hotel. I asked for a luggage cart from the front desk person and was told to just look floor to floor for one. There was no customer service. I would not stay at this location again.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Stephanie from Coolville, OH
“I was more than satisfied with this hotel. It was perfect for our family trip to King's Island in terms of access. It was only minutes from the park. The hotel itself was beautiful and well appointed. Fantastic amenities (pool, dining, etc.). Rooms were pretty and bathrooms were clean. A big plus was the free parking since many of the upscale hotels in the area depend on public parking or valet only, which can be costly. The staff was friendly and helpful. The business center had a PC available which made planning easy. We loved it!” Aug 23, 2008 by
Scott from Hamilton, OH
“We were very disappointed to find that the pool was closed and the restaurant was closed. They served dinner in the bar but the service was terrible and the food was mediocre.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Tom from Wadsworth, OH
“Overall it met my expectations. excellent choice.” Aug 18, 2008 by
T. F. from Mansfield, OH
“Very easy access from interstate, great beds, nice staff.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Aaron from New York, NY
“This was better than I expected. I would say it exceeded my expectations in every way.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Amy from Columbus, OH
“I really enjoyed my stay at Crowne Plaza Blue Ash. The room was clean and the service was wonderful! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, I wish I could have taken it home with me! The only downside was that the pool was in the middle of a large atrium and it was rather small. I prefer a more off the beaten path pool experience.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Dawn from Boston, IN
“This hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and willing to help.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Julie from Maumee, OH
“The hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly. When we arrived in our room, the carpet had not been swept. They took care of it right away. All the room doors squeaked and with children going in and out it was very annoying. The carpet looked new and the beds were nice. Just could improve some of the details--no coffee stirrers, no wash cloths, carpet not swept.” Aug 11, 2008 by
Tina from Danville, IN
“Hotel was very clean. Rooms were too small though. Not family friendly.” Aug 8, 2008 by
David from Monee, IL
“Great room, we were next to ice machine and elevator and was virtually sound proof. Location was close to interstate and easy to get to everywhere including Kings Island. Would recommend to everyone! Pool was medium size and no hot tub (only downfall). Even got us in room in the morning, well before check in time! Thumbs up!” Aug 7, 2008 by
June from Holly, MI
“Good hotel we were happy with our stay.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Sherry from Tampa, FL
“The hotel is located right off the Interstate. It was convenient for that reason. The room was clean, as were the public areas (such as pool, parking lots, lobby, etc.,) The staff was very friendly and helpful.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Tony from Louisville, KY
“The front desk and lounge staff were very friendly. The room was nice and a nice size the other guest were nice as well. Great location convenient too Kings Island and Downtown.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Eva from Pataskala, OH
“This hotel was great! We were thoroughly impressed and enjoyed our stay. From the moment that we arrived, the staff was very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure that our stay was nice. Once we got into our room, we were pleasantly surprised! The bed was so comfortable. more so than some of the more expensive hotels that we have stayed at Downtown Cincinnati. This was so enjoyable. We can't wait to go back!” Aug 3, 2008 by
Jim from Wadsworth, OH
“Our experience was nice here. The room was very clean, but a little small. The pool area was small and it would have been nice if it was more family friendly. The Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. The hotel staff was accommodating when we requested a later check out. There was only one restaurant near by. I would stay here again!” Jul 27, 2008 by
Carolyn from Pikeville, KY
“The hotel is very clean. The staff was great. Very safe area. Close to King's Island. The room with 2 double beds is very small. It is very difficult to use this size room if more than one person in the room. (We had 2 adults and 2 children). Very small bathroom. Part of the sink is located above the commode. Almost no room for toothbrushes, etc. I prefer a sink located outside the bathroom.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Kris from Toledo, OH
“This hotel was great for our weekend getaway. We found it to be clean, friendly and in a great location. The room was nice and with modern furniture. Considering the price, we were very pleased.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Christina from Lithopolis, OH
“No luggage carts were working. They all were in the shop. A wedding was going on the third night and guests were swimming with their clothes clearly drunk. We called twice no one came down to the pool. Then a sports team of high school boys were in the pool without an adult. They were putting furniture into the pool and diving into 5 feet water of stacked tables. It took management 30 min to come down and still didn't ask the boys to leave just said "boys will be boys". Our room didn't get stocked with clean towels, all the cups were cracked, had not been vacuumed, and trash wasn't removed. All they did was make the beds. This was again the third night. After calling to the front desk for towels we waited over 3 hours and 4 phone calls for anyone to come. In the end we still didn't get all we were asking for. I was very happy the first two nights. I loved the exercise room and pool was average size but clean and well heated. I liked the open floor plan and our pool side room. I feel this hotel just doesn't have the staff to handle large groups.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Allen from Elyria, OH
“Overall the hotel was nice; A free continental breakfast would have been nice.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Patricia from Columbus, OH
“While we were sleeping, the smoke alarm kept beeping because of low battery and my husband had to disconnect it. At 5:30 am the alarm clock woke us up & we had not set it. When I got in the shower there was a 21/2 inch water bug in the tub, my husband had to get out. It was quite an experience for a 3 star hotel. The previous weekend we spent 3 nights in a 2 star (Best Western) and didn't have any issues like this.” May 19, 2008 by
Pat from Brecksville, OH
“This hotel is fairly well located for business. It was not a 3 star hotel, in my opinion. While it appears that it had been updated, it seemed like putting lipstick on a pig.” Oct 6, 2007 by
Kathy from St. Anne, IL
“This hotel was easy to find. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds with lots of pillows on them. The hotel staff gave me a list of restaurants in the area with directions to all. I would definitely stay there again.” Oct 4, 2007 by
Jason from Floyds Knobs, IN
“The first room they gave me - the toilet did not work. I told the front desk and they said they would have someone fix it. They never could get it fixed so they assigned me to another room. When I went to look at the other room it was a smoking room, completely on the other side of the building and smaller than the room they had originally given me. I did not accept that room so - unbelievably they moved me to a 3rd room that was astonishingly only about 3 doors away from my original room and was comparable to the original. I have no idea why they didn't do that in the first place. Some of the desk staff was very friendly and apologetic - a couple of the others looked at me as if I was something on the sole of their shoe.” Oct 3, 2007 by
Naomi from Hoffman Estates, IL
“I would have rated this as an average hotel except that the cleanliness of the bathroom was no where near acceptable. The public facilities and the room where clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom floor and bathtub had dirt marks. The shower was clogged so water filled the tub. There were remnants of other guests on the toilet and a bug fell on me while I was visiting the facilities. If you decide to stay at this hotel, I recommend bringing bleach wipes.” Jul 13, 2007 by
Danielle from New Philadelphia, OH
“This hotel seemed to have something for all ages. It was very clean, and the staff was all extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others wishing to stay in the same location.” Jul 26, 2006 by
Lyn from Chicago
“Only complaint is that the side of the hotel we were on didn't seem to have an elevator. We were on the second floor.” Jul 21, 2006 by
Alison from Springfield, Ohio
“Check-in time was suppose to be at 3 P.M. I arrived at 3:15 and did not get check in until about 3:45. After about a 20 minute wait, they ask if I would like a standard double bed room, I had reserved a king size bed w/ sofa room. When I declined to take the room and wait for the king room, it just happen to be available then. The was no apology for the delay. I was traveling w/ a 7-yr old, with the long ride, so the half and hour wait seemed a very long time. The pool was the best thing, very warm. The chlorine might have been overused, but wasn't the bothersome. The continental breakfast was better then some other hotels ideal of a breakfast. Fitness room was ok, even though the second night I wanted to use it and there was no keys available and the person the called to unlock it for me never showed up. The rooms were clean, except the second day the maid did not take the empty dirty glasses from the day before. It was really quiet. I had an interior room on the 2nd floor and the view was pretty neat at night. I wouldn't recommend the Nintendo 64 to rent. My daughter spent a half-an-hour trying to play a game. The system was messed up. They did take the charge off of my bill for the system. Overall, I probably would stay there again. The price wasn't to bad, and there was more positive things with the hotel then negative. ” Aug 8, 2005 by
Russ from Noblesville, IN
“Nice location, reasonable staff. Rooms were average size, but I guess I may expect too much. Wallpaper peeling from the walls, side entrance that should only allow entry by key holding customers is not turned on, so anyone can walk in. Beds were exact opposite...one was a giant sweaking cushion and one was concrete box that sweaked. Didn't change my sheets from the night before and had to call manager twice to get them changed. Staff was nice and acted helpful. I would not recommend this hotel at this time unless some of those changes will be changed.” Jul 25, 2005 by
John from Marysville, OH
“The hotel was clean and the service was great. Only thing was the bed was too hard. If you have back trouble don't stay here.” Jul 19, 2005 by
William from Lawrenceburg, KY
“Desk staff very courteous, but certainly did not see the big picture. I informed them I was a third shift worker & would be trying to sleep during the day. They put me in a room overlooking the pool laden with screaming patrons, put famalies with numerous small children in adjoining rooms who thought the halls were thier personal playground. I would most likely not return to this hotel by choice.” Jun 26, 2005 by
Al from Grove City, OH
“I got to desk at 7:38 PM. Staff did not know how to handle reservation. Waited till almost 8:20 or later till someone came and gave me room key. At first, they wanted to charge my card again. Thankfully, I had printed out conformation. The room's toliet was overflowing when we first walked in the room. We left hotel and toilet was fixed when we returned after 10:30 PM. We asked to change rooms, and they said they were almost all full.” May 7, 2005 by
Rick from Avon Lake, OH
“Large facility with very nice business center for the business traveler.”
