• The night clerk was friendly.
• Stained chairs and couches, dated rooms, old building, had to wait through a lake to get to my room, advertised van was unreliable, day staff was bad.

“This hotel is doing it's best to stay open. It is dated, almost dumpy, noisy old air conditioning units, and should be given a 2 star. The breakfast is the best thing about the place.”

• Ethernet was incredibly slow. Unacceptable. I will not stay at this hotel again.

• Convenient, met all our needs, clean, classy.
• Inconvenient to turn if driving north you had to pass it and then turn and come back to it.

“I liked our experience. The one thing which I thought was sub par was the breakfast. It was confusing. Coffee urns were not kept filled, hot water was not marked and difficult to find, the help tended to disappear into the kitchen. For business travelers, running out of coffee in the AM is not good.”

“It is a lovely suites hotel which gives the appearance of apartments. Excellent accommodations, including a wood burning fireplace in each suite. The breakfast is free, and is a full American breakfast, including cook-them-yourself waffles.”

• The room was very nicely furnished and comfortable.
• Liked everything.

“We were staying at the Bulkhead Marriott Residence Inn to attend the SEC tournament and were at the Georgia Dome when the tornado hit Atlanta. It took us several hours to get back to the hotel and it felt like coming home after experiencing the storm. The employees at the front desk were so helpful in helping us with directions, etc. and were very professional. Would love to return again -minus the tornado of course.”

• Size of room.
• Drug trafficking in next room (yes, I am serious).

“Nice place overall. We had a long walk from the closest parking. The activity all during the night was very frustrating and when I called the front desk I was told an employee was staying in that room. Honestly, that unnerved me a bit as I was not expecting to hear that. The breakfast buffet was nice. The location was also convenient but, I did not feel safe for the reasons I stated above.”

• There was a nice bib supper and full breakfast included in the stay. Staff was great!
• The internet service in the room did not work and the remote to the TV did not work so couldn't order a movie for the kids.

“The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They fixed a nice evening bib and good hot breakfast. They tried to fix our remote to the TV which did not work, although they couldn't fix it until the next day. They were very kind to the children. The suite was very clean and quiet and in a good location.”

• Spacious and clean room, excellent for both short and long stays.
• Front desk staff was not responsive (understaffed).

“The room was clean, spacious and had the amenities one would expect from an extended stay hotel. The location is very nice, near the heart of buck head. It's easy to find. Parking was a bit limited though. The front desk was understaffed during my stay. Calls to the front desk went either unanswered or were put on hold for extended periods of time. When finally picked up, I was told once that they would call me back, but they never did.”

• I wish it was a little closer to the mall area (like walk able).

• 1) The internet did not work; could not get a connection, 2) I ran out of hot water in the shower - have to rinse my soapy hair in sink with cold water.

• Nearly everything.
• My only fault I could find was the very thin windows when people were walking and talking near your room.

“The location is great, the staff is friendly, the complimentary breakfast was wonderful (and I am usually not a fan of those), the room was pleasant and well laid out. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat whenever I am in Atlanta.”

• I signed a paper for "No Party", but some young kids had party right above my suite.

The hotel service called sheriff, but they shut down for a while and party again after sheriff left. I called the hotel service twice. But, the sheriff could not find any one responsible for the noise. And the hotel service keep telling me it is someone came back from outside. They totally ruined my sleep after two-hour mess up. The next day, I went to front desk to complain, but the only thing I got just a cold apology, not any refund or coupon. Even the manager didn't come out to say something. My suggestion is removing the Residence Inn Atlanta Buckhead from the your hotel list.”

• Location and apartment style layout were very impressive and helpful.
• Confusion regarding my reservation at check-in as well as at check-out.

“I was happy with the location, cleanliness, etc. The staff was friendly but all the confusion regarding my reservation left me pretty uneasy. I had called in the afternoon to let the staff know I¿d have a late check-in and was told that was no problem. However when I arrived I was told my reservation had been canceled as is the hotel's policy after midnight. Never mentioned to me during the course of my afternoon phone call. Which I didn't fully understand but nonetheless felt a little odd about the whole situation.”

• Have stayed here several times. Have yet to find anything I didn't like.

“If 5 star hotels means having to pay a day for parking and having expensive furnishings in the room and having a big fancy Name out front then I¿d rate this hotel a 1 star. If 5 star means staying in a large, comfortable room in an extremely convenient location with an out of this world complimentary breakfast, and free parking at a low, low, it price, then this hotel is a 6 star. Wonderful experience every time!”

• The bed was wonderful! The hotel had placed a memory-foam topper on the mattress, and we slept like babes!!
• Our first-floor room had only one window with bushes in front of it. A bit too dark for me, but "private" for someone else.

“Well-maintained, completely non-smoking facility for extended stay. Laundry room required room key, so it was secure and very clean. Morning breakfast complete with eggs and make-your-own waffles. Lots of mid-week activities for the home-away-from-home business traveler. Very helpful staff; clean; comfortable.”

• Parking was a problem. Location of room felt a bit unsafe.

“Our rooms were at the far rear of the property, in a wooded area. We arrived after dark and getting to the room felt a bit unsafe. Unloading baggage, etc. was a problem as the walk from the car was much too far with small children. While the rooms were clean the exterior needed cleaning and repair (rotten wood, spider webs, etc.). ”

• The hotel provided a shuttle service to sub.
• Shuttle only available M-F.

“It was my worst stay. Hotel did not offer shuttle on weekends. Taxis were $20 to get to subway and $20 to return.”

• It was clean and quiet, it had a kitchen with all the necessities.
• The housekeeper was knocking early before 10 am and check out isn't until noon.

“The rooms are huge and there is a full service kitchen with everything. Lots of closet space and a sleeper sofa. It was like a home away from home.”

• The rooms were extremely clean and everything was well stocked or replaced by the maid each day.

“The hotel was easy to locate and the staff was friendly. The buffet was constantly being refreshed so you did not feel rushed as if you were going to miss out. The work out area is small and with no ventilation, extremely funky. Otherwise the stay was excellent and the staff was great.”

“The hotel was a very good accommodation. It apparently was recently renovated and the rooms were excellent. One of the hotel staff refused to accept my request for a non smoking room. The next morning when I called, a different employee granted the request without a problem. The breakfast was very good for a freebie breakfast. The only negative, aside from the employee, is that the area of Bulkhead where the hotel is located is not in the best of neighborhoods, but not an unsafe or unsavory area.”

• The buildings are old and in need of a renovation.

“This hotel is pretty close to the center of Buckhead and being a Residence Inn offers has a full kitchen with all appliances. It does not have enough parking when full so you might have to park very far from your room.”

• The hotel had a good free breakfast and had a very courteous staff.
• The beds were very uncomfortable and there was no remote for the TV. Rooms looked dated.

“The hotel was average in overall quality. There was nothing in the room that was outstanding in quality but the bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom and shower area was also quite small. The light fixture in the kitchen looked like it was about to fall in the floor which we didn't notice until we were about to leave. The breakfast was quite good considering it was free. The hotel also had excellent ammenities for anyone staying for an extended period of time.”

• Great work area in suite, nicely equipped kitchen
• Piedmont Rd VERY noisy - front suites hear all road noise

“The facility and location were great. Shopping and entertainment are nearby, along with easy access to MARTA station. Front suites (where I was) are subject to loud road noise and pool-partiers. All staff were great except for overnight Saturday. It took four calls to the front desk between 11:00 pm and 2:30 am to get a rowdy party with much alcohol consumption removed from the pool area, and to get the poolside music turned off for the night. "The pool" closes at 10:00 pm, but guests still can get in and use poolside tables for partying.”

• Fabulous rooms. Full breakfast, Newspaper in the AM, Gym. Shuttle service provided.
• Nearest restaurants are a hefty walk and require crossing very busy streets whose drivers appear not to be familiar with the concept of a pedestrian.

“These rooms provide the business traveler with a home away from home. Large desk with connectivity is well lighted by four recessed spotlights and a comfortable desk chair. Kitchen includes stove top, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator plus all kitchen necessities. Popcorn and coffee are provided daily, as is maid service. Living area has sofa and chair, fireplace, coffee table and TV (that can be rotated toward the sleeping area. Rooms are large, clean, and well kept. Large bath, well supplied. Full hot breakfast is waiting in the morning; appetizers and drinks are provided in the late afternoon. Gym, pool, tennis court, and computers are provided for guests. This one is a real keeper!”

• Very clean, and was well worth the 52 bones I dropped on it a night.
• I ended up in it alone. I struck out at the local bar
