“Location was great. Staff was awesome. Free Parking which is unheard of in Atlanta. Saved money with free continental breakfast. Room was large and comfortable. Flat Screen TV was great. Staff all worked to together like a well-oiled machine. . everyone's needs are met!”

• Spacious room, great TV, free Wi-Fi & parking. Great location. Rooms & lobby are nicely decorated.
• Needs better fitness center and breakfast was just okay.

“Formerly an Ameri Suites, Hyatt did a great job of converting this location to a Hyatt Place. The decor is modern, yet warm. The rooms are spacious, with a wet bar, working area, nice-size couch, 42" TV, comfortable bed and attractive bathroom. There's no real view to speak of and the in-unit AC is a bit noisy, but otherwise it's a great room. The fitness center has no weight equipment, just some treadmills. The free breakfast is average: fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, oatmeal and bread items. There is better food available for a price. Free Wi-Fi and parking are great benefits. I would have liked vending and ice on all floors; it's on every other floor. Staff seemed pleasant.”

• Reception desk and people were far too casual.

“Location was good. The reception desk and hotel personnel did not reflect the status of a Hyatt hotel. Bathroom and sink area and location were awkward and small. The 42" TV was almost too big for the room.”

• The decor was amazing. All hotels should follow this pattern and go with it.
• The complimentary breakfast wasn't for kids. Its too adult friendly.

“I loved it. My kids loved it. It was awesome. The front desk clerk is the best. She should be working in upper level management. Very helpful and such an asset to this fine establishment. She catered to all of our needs and wants. Next time I visit the Hyatt Place I am definitely hoping she will be there to assist us.”

• The large size of the rooms.

“This hotel was amazing. Firstly, the rooms are huge. There is a separate living area with a very large flat screened TV. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room design is great. The lobby is gorgeous, and the hotel staff couldn't be more friendly and courteous. The location is also ideal - and walking distance to bars/restaurants and shopping. This is one of the few hotels in the area that offer free parking and free WiFi. I travel to Atlanta all the time, and will definitely be staying here again.”

• The staff at the Hyatt Place was unbelievable. They met our every need and then some.

“Amazing. The staff was wonderful, and the amenities were unexpectedly nice. Each room comes with a large sofa that can be pulled out into a sleeper, a fridge, and a 42 inch television. The beds were very comfy, as was the sofa. We really liked how the room was sort of spit into two areas - living and sleeping. It was plenty big for both my parents and myself. We will definitely be staying there again.”

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. I will never stay here again! The room was dirty looking, the carpet had stains on it, the refrigerator didn't work, and the bed was uncomfortable. The food was terrible. After the first bite we couldn't eat anymore. Not to mention that the cleaning staff didn't take the dirty dishes (still with food on them) out of the room the next day so when we got back that night the room smelled of the old food we had ordered the night before. The room was a lot smaller. The staff however was very friendly, the TV was nice, and free parking was great.”

• There was paint that was spilled on the bathroom door and floor that apparently had not been wiped up.

• It was under construction. We were woken up @ 7:30 on sat. Am. Very disappointed to be woken up by this type of noise.

“The hotel was ok. We were not happy with the construction @ 7:30 in the morning on the floor above our room. Our entire room felt like it was shaking. We could hear hammering, saws, nail guns, you name it, and we heard it. The hotel offered to move us, but if I was to move rooms, I may as well go home. My stay was only for 1 night. I thought I would have a day to sleeping without my child and dog waking up at the crack of dawn. Our stay was not what we had hoped for or expected.”

• Food and beverage was limited to vending machines. But there is a Kroger nearby.

“Staff was friendly but not very helpful. Shuttle service was late leaving then got lost on way to venue. Wife was not feeling good and wanted apple juice but staff would not take on the daunting task of turning on the juice machine so she could have some. Tending to the above would have made a $100+ room worth it. Oh, and shortly after check in we were in the beginning stages of getting "frisky" when the mood was broken by a staff member opening the door because she did not know we were there. Either it was bad communication on their part or I should have put the room on Fort Knox lockdown. I'm not mad, I was just asked my opinion. I'm quite certain these occurrences don't happen every day.”

“The area in Buckhead was great and the parking was free. That's good because other nearby hotels charge for parking. The breakfast had a wide array of offering, some better than others, but still impressive. The only complaint was the uncomfortable sleeper sofa. It was way to uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than that, a problem-free, comfortable stay.”
